This was such a nice cozy place to stay and located right in the heart of Porto next to the water. The cafe was delightful and staff kind and super helpful. The staff made us breakfast one day for our trip to take with us and packed it for the day. The only negative which is beyond their control is that the hotel is next to a tunnel which can be really loud at night with the motorcycles raring their motors and cars honking. Definitely take your earplugs for that. Otherwise, it couldn't be in a nicer location and affordable.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, equipped with a kitchen, utensils, and toiletries, which made it feel like a home away from home. The breakfast, which was included, was quite good, and the staff were very accommodating. The hotel itself is chic and beautiful, and it’s conveniently located near the bridge, a popular tourist spot. I also appreciated that the drop-off point was right in front of the hotel, so I didn’t have to walk far. My only complaint is that there’s no elevator, and my room was on the fourth floor. It was my mistake not to check about this before booking, but climbing up those stairs did leave me winded every time. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for older guests.

We stayed several days at this guest house, which is located very near local attractions. The room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and extremely clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The cafe below was wonderful, too!

This was one of the best guest house i’ve stayed. Staff were all very kind and nice. Room is squeaky clean, very unique interior with stone walls, a unique speaker also with the room view to the tunnel, just that it’s a bit noisy with all the cars passing. Located very close to the river so also nearby to everything. Kitchen were also fully equipped with plates, glasses, cups, utensils, pans and pots, and most importantly wine opener ;) Very recommended!

In this place there is no service such as room cleaning, emptying bins...unless you ask for it. Depending on your room location it can be extremely noisy as there is a very busy road at the bottom of the building, a road which happens to also be used by ambulances as a short cut to the hospital nearby. Also the noise is amplified by the fact the road emerges from a tunnel. An other negative point is that if you pay with a foreign card you are charge an extra commission automatically and without warning even if your card is in Euro. That was the only occasion I was imposed such a charged over the week I spent in Porto for using my debit card. As the manager proudly explained to me there's no small profit when you run a business. Well he won't get any repeat business from me, that I am sure of...

For a very basic experience. Bed is very uncomfortable. Has a permanent bowl shape. The sound proofing is nonexistent. The cafe below is just ok. Better options nearby.

Charming and sweet! Perfectly located in Porto, walkable to all the sights. We loved being in the heart of it all. The breakfast was fresh and delicious the strong coffee a bonus. The host was very engaging and helpful, answered all our questions and gave us a few suggestions for restaurants and sightseeing. I highly recommend !!

Yelp
Cute place but very few mod cons. Small room, no closet. No lift, only stairs. The better your view is, the higher the floor, the more painful the climb. We were on the 4th floor and our view was just ok. Very noisy with all the Ribiera pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This hotel is just at the mouth of a tunnel. If only another block or two over, it may be better. The room is charming but small. Many of the little charming offers don't actually work - like the record player. Cute, but didn't work. No TV or radio in the room either. Couldn't even open all the curtains. The staff were extremely nice, and the coffee in the lobby was the best I had in Porto!

Yelp
Great centrally located apartments. Clean, modern, very helpful and friendly staff acts as a concierge. Soon to come breakfast/bar area for guests. Just outside is a small market shop for foodstuffs and a lovely wine and tapas bar. Wonderful view from this top floor 2 bedroom unit. It's comfortable and functional. We were under the mistaken impression the website gave that we would have a balcony from the photos. But balcony rooms are singles, so take note. However there are beautiful views frim every room and the staff has been very accomodating and helpful in giving direction it is not a factor in this review score.
