My Street Food

I've haven't been to this place for about a year and I was in the area so.... and it never disappoints! If you're wondering why this place is highly rated, then stop in and try anything on the menu because it's all fresh and tasty! The customer service here is also outstanding and you are always greeted with a smile. I got crispy pork fried rice and it was beautiful. Put this place on your list next time you're in the area.. Best Bahn Mi sandwich of my life, and it’s not even close. Had the crispy pork special. The bread was so soft, but crispy on the outside. The meat was fresh and the chili was just enough heat to give it some great flavor. Really impressed.

The banh mi I had was very nice. My friend's chicken salad was rather dry, however.

I recently had the opportunity to visit "My Street Food," a Vietnamese cuisine establishment located in Woolloongabba. I was instantly impressed by the blend of flavors and textures offered at this charming place. The first thing that caught my attention was the perfect combination of crispiness in the meats and the tenderness of the sides. the meat being expertly prepared, maintaining its juiciness and crispy texture. The dishes were carefully balanced. One of the distinctive features of Vietnamese cuisine is the use of lightly spicy sauces, and "My Street Food" did not disappoint in this aspect. The sauces served with the dishes were delicious and added a special touch to the food. They were mildly spicy, providing a pleasant sensation of warmth without being overwhelming. Upon entering the establishment, I noticed that it was always bustling, with many orders being fulfilled constantly. This was a clear sign of the place's popularity and the quality of the food offered. Despite being small and simple, is cozy place. The service at "My Street Food" was efficient and friendly. The staff was always ready to answer questions and provide recommendations about the dishes. I was impressed by how quickly the orders were prepared and served, even with the constant demand. In summary, "My Street Food" is a true Vietnamese gem in Woolloongabba. The tasty food and the blend of flavors and textures are a true feast for the palate. The place may be small and simple, but the authentic taste and lively atmosphere make the visit a memorable experience. If you are in search of authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine, "My Street Food" is definitely worth a visit.

Delicious banh mi, very crispy pork, well balanced flavours, very filling. Vermicelli salad also very nice. Very lovely customer service, also walk in and greeted by the staff as staff from our workplace regularly go there. Many people in our office go there weekly, if not daily!! 🤤

Just grabbed the Triple Pork Banh Mi Roll was warm and fresh and crispy and exploded in my mouth. The vegetables were perfectly marinated and still crunchy, and the shallot was a nice addition. Pork slices also delicious, with a little light on the mayo and pate, making the whole thing slightly dryer than my personal taste (I like it saucy ;). Overall a fantastic roll. My preference is for the crispy pork belly, for additional moistness and meaty crunch. That's a solid 9/10.

Really enjoyed their crispy pork fried rice, friendly people as well. Reasonably priced but thought the portion was a bit small. The fried rice doesn’t include the big chunks of crispy pork so you’ll have to add that on if you want that. But overall really good, still need to try their banh mi but I’ve just been ordering their fried rice!

Best Banh Mi in Brisbane! The ingredients are always so fresh and the portions are very generous. There are sometimes long lines, but the wait time isn't too bad.

I work in an office in Coorparoo which is filled to the brim with ravenous tummy's every weekday from around 12pm. The usually polite and mild-mannered bunch can turn instantly into a pack of raging monsters foaming at the mouth and arguing about where to bring our lunchtime business as we lament the limited options available in the vicinity. It was with great relief one weekday lunchtime that I discovered My Street Food Vietnamese existed. With the promise of fresh authentic dishes direct from Vietnam I bundled my colleagues into a car and drove the 2 minutes down the road to the little store-front. We have been back many, many times since that fateful day and it has now become an accepted part of our lunchtime repertoire. M.S.F Chicken Crispy Fried Rice has become the undisputed favourite of the entire office space. The melt-in-your-mouth chicken doused heavily in an aromatic marinade coupled with the crunchy rice and sweet cucumber and carrot slivers is a match made in heaven. We all feel fresher after eating this particular dish, and even the most decadent of the group will often choose it over a heavier fast-food option. The Vermicelli Salad with Lemongrass Pork comes a firm second in the lunch-time line-up. The pork is always soft and tender and couples beautifully with the flat rice noodles and lettuce, cucumber and herb salad. When comparing this dish to the version at Gabba Takeaway the My Street Food option is always nicer with a better quality cut of pork and far less sinewy, fatty bits. The store itself is an exercise in bright, clean functionality. A team of workers bustle behind the counter brimming with fresh ingredients and pre-made rice paper rolls. Phone orders are encouraged, and there is a convenient car spot right out the front for dash-and-carry lunchtime pick-ups. The prices are reasonable with most dishes under $10 and it won't tax your health either. I highly recommend this local gem for takeaway options. It's a pity they don't open for fast and healthy dinner inspiration, but I'll take what I can get.

We came back here to try the banh mi - and they were fantastic. Fresh crusty baguette spread with pate and mayonnaise, filled with carrot, cucumber, fresh coriander, and your choice of meat and/or chilli. My husband and I shared the crispy pork belly and the fire breath beef (chilli and lemongrass). It was just wonderful!!

The banh mi (pork roll) is the bomb! Crispy bread, freshly grilled pork, and a special Mayo/pate? AND it's decently priced! The staff are super nice and service is quick. So glad I live around the corner!
