Mycocoon Hostel Mykonos

I only stayed for a night. Excellent location. The bed was very good. I had two lockers with keys. The shower was really good. There's a pool with an amazing view of the town and sea. It's a pity there's no kitchen.

We absolutely loved staying at this hostel. |It was amazing location, great price, good facilities, perfect for sunset Pres! Also when we had to stay an extra night because of cancelled ferries, they were super accommodating and made our stay so much better☺️|Massive shoutout to the man who worked at the supermarket at the hostel. His name is George, but we call him G. He literally is the best, he made us feel like we were right at home, gave us free snacks, always had a massive smile on his face and was so happy to see us, as we were to see him. We always loved to pay him little visits throughout the day, just to have a chat and say hi. |It was definitely sad to say our goodbyes, but we will always remember G. We even made a handshake with him🥺 |GIVE THIS MAN A PAY RAISE IMMEDIATELY🫶🫶🙏🙏💗💗 |We hope to see him again in the future, but if we don’t, we want to wish him all the best, and he is always welcome in Australia❤️ ||Love his favourite customers, |A & B xo

Had a very unpleasant stay recently at this hostel. Upon arriving, the woman at the front was rude and dismissive and not accomodating in the slightest. When we arrived to our room, we quickly realised we were not in the room we had booked and paid for so spoke to the woman at the front, who told us that because we had touched the beds now, there’s nothing she can do. No apology. The beds are smaller than a single bed and my bunk was very dirty- clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There is also barely any space to store your luggage in the room as they’ve crammed so many bunks into the room- not practical at all. Half the toilet/shower doors in the dorm I was in did not lock. My flight out of Mykonos wasn’t until 11pm so I went to reception 2 days prior to request a late checkout, or access to a shower at the very least, to which the same woman told me “no, it’s July so that’s not possible, we are booked”. The dorm we were in was probably 20% full so this was not a big request and could’ve been the least she could’ve done after a very unpleasant stay. The aesthetics of the hostel are nice but that’s about as good as it gets.

We had a bad experience during our stay. The receptionist was unfriendly and showed a discriminatory attitude towards the Muslim community. Additionally, the room was not clean; there was dust and cockroaches. We do not recommend this hotel.

Claustrophobic place, no windows, narrow sleeping 'pods'. Closest to the old port you can get, but really loud sorrounding. You'll hear machines and cars during the night. Had a really uncomfortable feeling at this place, not recommended.

For a room with 34 beds it was quite nice Very organised and quiet after 11pm to 8am. Do climbing classes before go in case you get the top beds 😄 The only issue was the shower and toilet door weren't closing. I would stay again for a couple of days to save money.

Beautiful hostel, Helena at reception is very friendly and helpful, but the place needs important maintenance and deep cleaning in the rooms and showers. Location is good, between center and new port. Steps to go up thr thr beds not stable at times and very small.

The location of the place was excellent, and there is a mini market downstairs. If you don't mind sharing the space with more people, it's a nice place to stay. However, it's hard to sleep if the other people are not respectful. I found it a bit expensive for September, considering that we shared the space with 50 people, but for Mykonos, it's a good price. The space was clean.
