"Myeondong and Hongdae Nanta Theatres Opened in 1997, Nanta is the longest-running show in Korean history. Similar to Stomp , it’s a nonverbal musical that people of all ages and nationalities can understand. The comedic story follows a frantic kitchen staff as they prepare for an impending wedding banquet. In addition to impressive percussive performances with cooking equipment, the 90-minute show incorporates many opportunities for audience participation. It’s become so popular that it now plays at two theaters, one in Myeongdong and another in Hongdae. Each venue offers an afternoon and evening show, with a third added on weekends. It’s recommended that you buy tickets in advance as seats sell out quickly."

Nanta Show Review (Black Team) Absolutely hilarious and entertaining — perfect for families, especially those with teens! The musical performers were incredibly skilled, blending rhythm, humour, bit of romance and theatre seamlessly. It’s an absolute must-watch show when you’re in South Korea. Lockers are avail free of charge to store shopping bags. Strictly no photo/video when it starts. Some lucky audiences may get to be on stage. Our performance was by the Black Team, and they were fantastic! After the show, you can queue to take photos with the cast. The staff are super efficient — they’ll help use your phone or camera and snap multiple shots within seconds. A truly fun and memorable experience!

Ok, I wasn't sure what to expect, wow, wow, wow!!! This show was so much fun. The sounds, the visuals, and the actors were all brilliant. I mean laugh out loud hilarious. Great show for all ages. U do not have to speak Korean to enjoy it either. U get the full jist of the shown from the beginning. The theater is very cozy with make the show even better. Im not too sure how it would be for those who may be wheelchair bound. There is an elevator, but i didn't see any area, in the actual theater, to accommodate the chairs.

The Nanta show is excellent, hilarious, and incredibly easy to follow even if you don't speak Korean. The actors are very funny and expressive. They are very energetic. My only note is that the venue got quite hot and stuffy once the theater filled up.

I booked the Nanta Show tickets through Klook and it was such a great choice! The show was full of laughs, energy, and truly talented performers — a perfect way to start my trip to Seoul. Just a heads-up: it’s not at Myeongdong Theatre but at UNESCO Nanta Show, only a few steps away. Definitely a must-do if you want a fun and memorable night out in Seoul!

A definite must-watch if you’re in the Seoul area. Lots of energetic dance, drumming, and acrobatics. Minimal language is used and it is mostly in comedic English so no Korean is required. Would recommend!

The Nanta Cooking Show did NOT disappoint! The Red Team was awesome and they did a fantastic job of keeping the crowd entertained for the entire duration! I highly recommend going if you are visiting Seoul and have 90 minutes to spare! (Pictures are only allowed in the very last skit and at curtain call.)

This is a very silly show. Our audience was filled with middle school aged children which really made the whole thing even more fun. Really talented performers and was very easy to follow as an English speaker. There is a reason it’s an institution. If you want something fun and goofy this is your stop. Very family friendly.
