Myeongdong Shopping Street

~throw back to mid of November 2025~ This area is such a great place to explore! There are so many shops, offering a wide range of food, clothing, beauty products, and more. Each store is spacious and fun to shop and explore!! Around the area, you’ll also find many street vendors selling local food and delicacies. The prices are reasonable — not too high or too cheap — and definitely worth trying. My favourite time to visit is during the Christmas season, when the decorations are everywhere and the atmosphere is absolutely festive and lively.

Myeongdong Shopping Street was a total paradise for food, fashion and K-beauty lovers! The energy was incredible, and the real highlight was wandering between the outdoor vendors selling bulgogi, gimbap and the famous twist potato. There were also some really fancy desserts not seen elsewhere that were perfect for a mid-shopping treat. A brilliant spot that combined retail with a fantastic variety of local snacks!

It is incredibly fun with lots of things to see and eat, especially the legendary street food stalls. While the prices can be a bit expensive and it is clearly targeting tourists, the energy is infectious. It’s the perfect place to get lost in the crowds, shop for K-beauty, and try every snack imaginable!

Myeongdong Street Food is a nice place to try a lot of different Korean snacks in one area. There are plenty of choices, savory and sweet, and most of the flavors are easy to enjoy for international tourists (not too strong or unusual). Many stalls cook the food fresh, so it’s warm and better compared to pre-made snacks. Portions are good for sharing or trying a few items while walking around. The area is also convenient and lively, so it’s a simple stop if you’re already shopping in Myeongdong. Overall, it’s a solid street food spot with good variety and generally tasty, tourist-friendly flavors.

Ita a happening place. Nice street sellers. Polite. And speaks English. Prices for street food are reasonable. Crowded. I went early December and the snow and Christmas lights and feel is everywhere. Hot food works well with cold weather. Daiso shop is good to hide from the rain. If need toilet there is a hotel at the end of the street.

Tourist area must come to experience the sights, sounds, smell, and street food aplenty. Walking steps at least 10000 steps here. Good exercise and people watching while your family shop in the never ending shops here. Winter time here is totally different experience.

Myeongdong Shopping Street is always a lively and exciting place to visit, with endless varieties of shops, skincare stores, and street food stalls to explore. There’s something for everyone, and the atmosphere is full of energy. The only downside is that the food tends to be more expensive, likely because it’s such a popular tourist spot. Still, it’s a fun and vibrant area that’s worth experiencing at least once.

Filled with incredible food, vendors and souvenir stores and stores of other various brands such as tennis shoes, it's a fun place to walk through. Don't forget to look up. Most buildings have businesses on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th floornas well.
