Mykonos Essence Hotel

Very nice place for a quiet relaxing holiday. My room was fresh and clean, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet very delightful. Nice view above the Ornos town. If you have walking restrictions or disability, the climb up to the hotel from town could be difficult. It’s only 5 minutes but rather steep in the beginning.

Very nice and quiet hotel with excellent service and friendly staff. Fresh and clean room, good breakfast and food. Only 5 min walk down the hill to Ornos town and beach, but it could be difficult if you have walking restrictions/disabilities, as the climb up is somewhat steep in the beginning.

Recently returned from a week here, we could not fault staff or hotel, it's spotless,towels were changed every day, pool towels every day, dressing gowns and slippers in our room,reception staff are extremely helpful. One very small thing, I think a kettle and a couple of cups are needed in rooms to make a quick cuppa, but otherwise there's nothing to fault. Would definitely return

I went with my friends for breakfast as we were recommended that the food was amazing.......which it most certainly was, and we also had the pleasure of meeting the chef Tina, she's an absolutely lovely lady 😊😀 food was so good we popped back again for lunch and had the Greek salad, grilled chicken and tzatiki. Will definitely be back everyone should visit to taste the food and hopefully meet the chef in person!!!

An amazing stay.The rooms are big clean and modern.we had a sea view which was able to be seen from our private terrace.The breakfast was great good choice of food and all very fresh.Great location can walk to the bus to some restaurants and the harbour where you could go on a day cruise.The restaurant food at the hotel looked tasty I only had coffee and cocktails which we could get all day.The staff were all so helpful with ideas of places to go which made our experience even better going to places the locals do.The staff were always available to help and friendly nothing was too much.Would definitely stay again.

Amazing experience, the hotel is very clean, great location and great views to the ocean/ part of the city. The Staff is unbelievable nice at the reception, during night and day.

The welcome we received on arrival was the best I've had. We were greeted at the door and booking in was smooth and simple. There was a detailed explanation of meal times and facilities and we were given a map of the island and shown the best places to go if we wanted to expore.|We were shown to our room and it was lovely. The balcony had great views and the room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon was unobtrusive and excellent. We slept extremely well! The bathroom was excellent with a great shower.|The cleaners were lovely and worked very hard- the room was kept in a pristine state for the whole stay.|Breakfast was ample with lots to choose from- the same every day but so wide ranging that you could vary what you had and keep it interesting.|The pool was lovely and the area was spotless. Sunbeds were plentiful too.|The entire staff of this hotel were pleasant and friendly and went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Where do I begin! We were greeted on arrival by the lovely lady Labrini, with open arms and a big genuine, welcoming smile and personality who is so so helpful and knowledgeable. The view from the hotel is incredible where you eat breakfast or have a few drinks and you can see the beautiful sunsets. |The rooms are lovely even if they are a bit smaller it adds more of a personal apartment feel. |The pool area is also gorgeous, nice size with a shallow and deep end too, not to mention having full exposure of the sun so you are guaranteed to have a beautiful tan! |Another star of the show is Joanna! A smiley, genuine, lovely girl who is always happy to greet you as you come in to ask about your day or help you with anything you need. |It’s lovely how the staff make you feel as one family together.|The location is also incredible only being 5 mins walk (2 small but steep hills to go up and down) from Ornos beach which has plenty of beach clubs/chairs to choose from or if you go all the way to the end there is little room to just fit your towel down and just in the sea, the sea is also so clear and clean. |Overall everything within this holiday from hotel, staff, location, has been 10/10 and i cannot wait to hopefully come back again! |Thank you Essence! :)
