Well deserved 5 Stars I celebrated my birthday at Mykonos What an amazing atmosphere I heard the Happy Birthday song played on speaker wondered what was going on looked up and saw the waiter Promise with a Birthday cake and sparkles ,everyone including customers started singing and clapping along. We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas lunch here. The Christmas buffet, priced at R495 per person, offered an impressive variety of dishes, and the quality of the food was exceptional. As regulars who frequently enjoy the normal menu, it was no surprise that everything was once again outstanding. The service was excellent throughout, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable Greek dining experience.

Mykanos in Claremont is a true gem for seafood lovers. The dishes are beautifully prepared, with fresh ingredients and bold Mediterranean flavours. The Patagonia calamari, in particular, was a standout – tender, perfectly grilled, and incredibly moreish. The staff were welcoming, creating a relaxed yet refined dining experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual dinner or a special night out, Mykanos delivers both quality and charm.

Visited here with my wife and daughter early Tuesday evening. We probably arrived too early as the place was very empty and therefore lacked any atmosphere. Though I can image it a viby place when busy. Initially I was a bit concerned as there was not a Greek person in sight who worked there…. But once the food arrived those fears faded away. The food was fresh and very tasty. As a family we have visited Greece many times so have a good idea as to what authentic Greek food should taste like. (See my older review for Well of the Turk) Our waiter was polite and professional and also liked the fact that there is a kids play area around the back. We will return and try something else on the menu next time.

Awesome restaurant, went for lunch on Saturday, no booking and no problem 😊 Had a delicious lunch, glass of wine plus coffee for afters.. shared Bar One Chocolate cheesecake dessert - absolutely delicious 😋 Split the bill between 2 people (including tip) R337 each.. Friendly and efficient service, definitely recommend.

Platters full of joy. The restaurant is beautiful without being showy. The menu has something for everyone. We arrived relatively late in the evening but were welcomed and not made to hurry. The food is a visual feast and paradise for the tastebuds.

Had a wonderful evening there. The food is amazing. However, it is very rich and high in dairy, and there were only 2 bathroom stalls. 1 for men, 1 for women, which meant my friends and I often had to wait long to use the bathroom, which was unpleasant.

I just need to send you a big thank you to everyone at Mykonos Restaurant in Claremont for one of the most memorable nights ever!! We had the most amazing time and it was a dream come true for the sweet 16 birthday girl and all of her friends. The food was divine, the atmosphere incredible and lots of precious memories were made! I must also commend our waitress Nikiwe who was an absolute professional, always nearby and just a breath of fresh air! Thank you so much for everything.
