Mykonos Waves Beach House & Suites

Just got back from an incredible stay at Mykonos Waves Beach Hotel & Suites with my friends, and honestly, I’m already missing it. Fillippa and her whole crew made us feel so welcome—it was like crashing at a good friend’s place, not just a hotel. We booked a three-bedroom suite with a hot tub, and the place was spotless and super roomy. There were always sunbeds available, too, which was a nice bonus.||Getting around was a breeze. The bus stop is just a short two-minute walk away, and tickets are only €2 each way. The hotel even arranged a complimentary ride into town for us, thanks to the ever-cheerful George. Ornos beach is about a ten-minute stroll, lined with great restaurants.||If you’re a foodie—or just get hungry at odd hours—there are two 24-hour bakeries nearby that won’t break the bank, plus even more places to eat and a bar, all within a five-minute walk. Mykonos town itself is just a quick five-minute drive, packed with bars and restaurants. Our top pick? D’Angelo, which Fillippa suggested (she has great taste).||We did take a boat trip, but here’s a tip: listen to Fillippa. We ignored her advice and went to the Northside, which turned out to be crazy windy. The South would’ve been much better!||If you want a place that feels like home on Mykonos, I can’t recommend Mykonos Waves enough.

We picked this hotel because it was self catering , with sea view and within walking distance of places we wanted to see. Were given a room with two double beds ,2 bathrooms, large veranda and kitchenette, plenty big enough for 2 . Korfos beach was 10 meters from our room . Every morning I went swimming before the kite surfers arrived . Ornos beach (5 min walk) . The biggest + was the staff from the cleaners to reception everyone was so kind ,friendly and helpful. Filippa and George were fantastic nothing was too much trouble , they made our holiday extra special. The hotel has 2 sister hotels which is located Mykonos town(5 min walk) and near psarou Beach (15 min walk)which they are happy to drive you too. The bakery and market 5 min walk was excellent with friendly staff. It was fairly windy but I found this refreshing other wise would have been too hot.

We had a three bedroom house with a hot tub. Only 10-15 minutes from airport. |From start to finish Philippa was very welcoming and knowledgeable. All the staff were friendly and happy in their work.|The pool and surrounds were never busy you can always get a sunbed. |There are two bakers and a supermarket within 5 minutes walk. |Lovely restaurants. You can either walk into z Mykonos town which takes about 35 minutes or get the bus for 2 euros. |You can also book George to take you into town who also is a member of staff who cleans the pool takes your cases etc. |It was also spotlessly clean.

If I am completely honest the rooms were really small for four people and the sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest but Phillipa was so accommodating and brought a mattress topper for us when we requested. Honestly the customer service here is amazing, really all down to Phillipa, thank you so much for your amazing hospitality, you have probably been the most kind and hospitable host we have had, and especially when I wasn’t feeling well when I was about to check out and you looked after me and got me ice and water and food! So sweet! I really appreciate it. Also want to give a massive shout out to the cleaners because I honestly felt sorry for them coming into our room, with 4 messy girls, even I couldn’t handle the mess, but they did such a good job cleaning haha! My family and I have just come back from staying at Mykonos Waves and it was amazing!||Fillippa and her team are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, they are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed it the three bedroom house with a hot tub and it was lovely and big, airy and spotlessly clean. You can’t fault this place. Plenty of sunbeds at whatever time of the day.||Bus stop is a 2 minute walk away and costs €2 each way or €2.50 fate midnight. George at the hotel will also take you to the town for free. Ornos beach is 10-15 minute walk away, it is a lovely beach. ||There are 2 bakeries within 2 minute walk, 1 is an artisan one & the other is traditional Greek one, both so reasonable. Restaurants are within 5 minute walking distance and a bar. However Ornos beach has more places to eat. ||Mykonos town is stunning and has plenty of eating places.||Would definitely come back and stay at Mykonos Waves.

From reception to cleaning taxi driver this place is a must. The hotel is situated on the ocean. Perfect pool enough lounge chairs for all a splendid homemade breakfast! Thanks for caring

Gorgeous property!!! Beautiful, spacious rooms with bathrobes and views of the pool. Fillipa and George were terrific, they offered lots of great recommendations. Our rate, I'm not sure if all the rates do but included George as a free transfer from the port/airport to the hotel. He even dropped us off in town and we avoided another pricey cab fare. Another perk, was Fillipa made a breakfast basket for us that was absolutely delicious and filling. It is in the windy area of Mykonos but it's right in between the party beaches and old town so it's a great location.
