My wife and I recently enjoyed a two-night honeymoon stay at MyPond. This was our third visit, the previous being in August 2024. Upon arrival, we were greeted and asked to complete a registration form, then given our key card and room number. However, unlike our previous stays, we were not escorted to our room, nor was assistance offered with our luggage.
Several minor issues require attention to enhance future guest experiences:
Hotel Stay Feedback
Water Issues
• Water took forever to get hot & lack of pressure.
Electrical Outlet Problem
• kettle and fridge share same plug so each time kettle is used, fridge has to be unplugged.
Missing Amenities
• No stock of Hot Chocolate on both occasions when asked.
Maintenance and Room Condition
• maintaince is lacking , rooms could do with a fresh coat and abit of an update.
• Feels more like a B&B now than a "4 star Hotel"
Lamp shade was held on with double sided tape.
Beyond the previously noted aspects, Andiswa provided exceptional dinner service. Her amiable demeanor and delightful sense of humor were truly outstanding. Furthermore, the chef's culinary skills were superb; the steak was among the finest I have ever experienced. The overall dining experience was impeccable.
