Myrkdalen Hotel

Very friendly staff and ideal ski resort for beginners, the lessons given by Sebastian were very good. The hotel was nice and clean. I wasn't too keen on the food, it wasn't too bad but options were limited but I can live with that. The main issue I wasn't happy about was the room temperature - it was set to 19 degree which you could increase to 23 degrees. Problem is once it reached that, it then slowly dropped back to 19 and you have to increase it again. Not acceptable in a cold country. Aside from that, all round great experience, highly recommend.

The 3 course menu in the restaurant was perfect every single night of our stay as half board guests. Perfect breakfast buffet too. The staff are helpful and the hotel is always clean. Ski in ski out with all modern facilities. Highly recommend.

Outstanding hotel, great experience from start to end. Very nice resort, quiet and relaxed. Hotel staff were so polite and friendly and the food was phenomenal. We hope to return, great memories made here.

A great ski resort hotel to stay at even during the off months. Lots of hiking and other activities around. The staff were great, welcoming, and accommodating.

A very boring hotel, avoid it if you are not going there on a ski holiday. Very poor choice of food, very few options for buffet breakfast.

Building Could have been more nature friendly. Contrasts with the green roofed beautiful houses behind it.

A great place for families to enjoy a day on the slopes and ski in ski out. Relax with some food and a drink in an accommodating and comfortable atmosphere.

Really lovely place, hotel was off the charts plush,clean, well run and very friendly. The food was amazing couldn't fault it in any way, however a lack of hot chocolate was apparent, but with 41 students there didn't want to ask as they would have destroyed the place to get more lol. The only downside is the lack of shops for trinkets and snacks, they sell snacks at the reception, thre is a bar next door and a cafe, but not alot else. Overall when controlling 41 students the place and service was above and beyond.

Hungry for a great meal? Stop here. Beautiful location, friendly staff, and delicious food with large portions. Pizza could be shared. We were a party of five and all were pleased with what we ordered: spaghetti, Caesar salad, hamburger, and pizza.
