We Stayed here for My partners 21st and it was an amazing experience. We chose the deluxe king room and it was very spacious which also included all the numerous essentials needed such as toiletries, wardrobe, safe and a mini fridge. The Spa was also very well set up and a nice way to cool down after a busy day of walking. The breakfast buffet was also very accommodating and had various great options to choose from. Finally the sky bar was excellent for drinks and food and provided brilliant views of the city. I would definitely Recommend to anyone wanting to visit Budapest to come stay here.

The Mystery Hotel was a great choice for us, conviently located close to public transport so we were able to visit so many parts of the city easily. |We travelled from the Airport on the 100E bus. At its final stop we changed onto the 72 bus (Same bus stop) which took us to within 20 yards of the hotel. Public transport is free for all over 65s although you do have to produce photo id if asked.|We loved the quirky decor of the hotel and our room was very comfortable and well laid out. There were Rituals toiletries in the bathroom, which was a treat, such gorgeous scents. The housekeeping was spotless, and I liked that each day we received a different card at turndown with details of somewhere worth visiting in the city. We used the hot tub in the spa area once and enjoyed it. The breakfast was excellent, and served in the beautiful Great Hall which added to the experience. I found the water from the machines insufficiently hot to brew a decent cup of tea, but the wait staff were very happy to provide a teapot of boiling water when asked (along with the requested two English breakfast teabags and a small jug of cold milk) so harmony was restored. We only went to the rooftop bar once for drinks and an excellent bowl of goulash, but enjoyed being there. The staff in all areas, reception, bar, breakfast and housekeeping all spoke brilliant English and we were very appreciative of this. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is fabulous.

The hotel was very well rounded and felt boutique esque (if that makes sense), the rooms were nice and well equipped while having quite a contemporary look to the rooms and hall way. ||The main hall where you have breakfast is very grand and spacious while maintaining a historical sense to the design of it which I liked. ||The breakfast was very good, as expected varied enough for me personally. We did go to main hall for drinks in the evening and it was a bit more expensive then anticipated but I guess that’s a given. ||The spa was nice, it is very stylised. It can get busy or congested, the gym is down there also, located on the ground floor at the back. ||We found the spa was quieter during the late evening but your mileage may vary. ||The bed was comfortable, shower was nice but personally our view wasn’t the best, it was strange as well as we had a curtain that led to a very small pitch of Astro turf that had glass around it and with small window overlooking another boring building. ||Location was good for us, we walked mostly but did get the odd taxi. ||Staff were nice, greeted us and took our bags. Good English also. ||Would recommend and wound stay again.

Our stay in this hotel was absolutely lovely. The style of this place is very unique, with a lot of paintings and old looking rooms. The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly, our room was spotless. The SPA with jacuzzi and sauna was definitely a highlight of our stay. Great value for adequate price.

Wow what a place! From when you walk through the door this hotel and it’s staff oooze class. From the amazingly helpful reception staff, concierge, and maids to the restaurant and bar staff! The rooms are spacious and spotless and all 3 of our groups rooms were ready early ensuring we could get out early! And with our late flight there was a baggage hold so we could make the most of our last day! ||This place is a must stay!

Mystery hotel staff were friendly and professional. The hotel itself was beautiful. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I felt the room we were in was a bit noisy due to its location,|and also quite small. This hotel is a bit removed from the “main” touristy areas so if you enjoy walking and prefer not to drive take public transit keep that in mind.

Fantastic hotel with a touch of quirkiness. |Beautiful interiors |Extremely clean|Substantial breakfast|Added benefit of the roof bar/terrace|Within easy distance of all the touristy sights|Accommodating friendly staff|A welcome cool and calm place to come back to after a days hot (very) sightseeing around this interesting city. |Would 100% recommend and we will stay again if we come back to Budapest 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
