Mystery Hotel Budapest

Fantastic hotel for a lovely anniversary trip to Budapest. Attentive and thoughtful service, with a surprise bottle of bubbles after check in. The room was well fitted with a sense of luxury. We both had great sleep on both nights. The spa although small was a great haven after an early start travelling. The Great Hall is a beautiful setting for a good breakfast with a somewhat smaller selection when compared to other hotels but great quality and enjoyed the daily changing of options. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Budapest.

We had a great time away with friends and enjoyed our stay at the Mystery Hotel. Everything about the hotel was lovely the only thing I would pick up on would be a comfy bar area where our group could have met up for pre drinks or a sneaky drink before bed! Other than that our stay was lovely and the spa made it even more enjoyable. Would recommend to family and friends if they were heading ti Budapest.

We booked this hotel for a short break away just before Christmas. The hotel is absolutely beautiful (quirky meets traditional) and is situated about a 20 minute walk away from the main Christmas markets in the centre of Budapest. Taxi's were readily available and easily arranged by reception however we walked from the hotel each day to take in the sights of the city and explore the local area. We managed to get a great deal through booking.com it only cost us slightly more than you'd expect to pay in a travel lodge! For that we got a large family suite with roll top bath in the living area, 5 star service and access to the fantastic spa facilities. To conclude, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, the rooms and facilities are wonderful and the staff are friendly and highly attentive. Well worth the money!

Romantic stay. Luxury room with a stunning marble bathroom, stand alone bath, bath robes, and slippers are also provided. Bed itself was comfortable and you can also switch the pillows to your preference at reception. The hotel spa is open until 9-10pm which is very comfortable including a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Everything is very well thought out for your needs! My partner and I had a massage for €77 (or £65) each which was very professional and relaxing. Highly impressed! There’s also a restaurant and bar on the 5th floor which is worth checking out for a lovely cocktail. Do note the sky rooftop bar isn’t open during winter months!

Everything from the front desk, to the kitchen, to the spa was amazing. Sparkling clean, smelt amazing, and felt so welcoming. We had an amazing stay and are looking forward to going back. ||||Although it doesn’t seem like the best location, the best bus line is right our front and can get you everywhere quickly!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Inside it gives you that luxury feel. When we arrived we asked if we could pay to upgrade our room or if there were any rooms that became available throughout our stay to upgrade but the receptionist said this wasn’t possible which was a little disappointing. Bedroom was spacious and lots of storage space too. The only little downsides I would say is; the room can be extremely stuffy even with the air conditioning on which meant I woke up in the night with a very dry mouth and headache. The pillows weren’t the best. The bathroom was nice however the sink was very big so trying to do your make up whilst placing things on the sink was a-bit tricky however it was doable! The toilet paper wasn’t great felt cheap. The walk into town was about 25-30 minutes or sometimes we got an uber which was £5-6. If you decide not to get breakfast in the hotel there’s a good cafe round the corner called ‘cosy cafe’ which serves great breakfast. Overall I would definitely stay again, just a few little negatives but the positives outweigh the experience!

We stayed for 4 nights at the mystery hotel in Budapest, the staff was very friendly and helpfull. When you enter the hotel it feels cozy and somehow funny with the arts with a wink everywhere. The room was pretty, clean en a place where you felt comfortable after a day outdoors

Great hotel, fantastic service. Amazing facilities. Room had everything you need and even more and great design. The only thing that I could complain is probably the coffee at breakfast not the best but it makes up for it with a private expressor machine in your own room. Fantastic food and location is good close to metro bus stations. 5 stars for our experience You also get a free bottle of sparking wine for you birthday! 🎁
