Mythos Palace Resort & Spa - Crete

Visited for five nights in end of May. We upgraded and stayed in the newly built panorama hotel behind. This had a larger balcony and gave us an upgraded wristband which allowed us meals at lunchtime in the Italian restaurant. The room was spacious and clean but needed parts finishing. The balcony had not been finished well and the toilet had a gap where it hadn’t been tiled properly. The food in the restaurants was okay but the buffet although well stocked wasn’t five star quality. A huge positive for us was because the hotel was quiet we seemed to have a pool, bar and restaurant to ourselves for the first few days. This was great and really enjoyed the food and service. Drinks were okay but again not the greatest. All known cocktails seemed to be extra and the free ones made up and a bit weird. Although we went all inclusive and obviously got our moneys worth we did walk to a couple of local restaurants which were far more authentic and worth a visit.

Stunning views, beautiful rooms . Well maintained pools . A very high standard of food and cleanliness. From the first step into the hotel early hours of the morning - I felt like a Princess, our bags carried to our room and friendly welcome with English speaking staff. The restaurant was open at 2am for us to have a light meal . We had the most beautiful room with a shared pool. Very clean rooms!|| A very high standard of food and cleanliness. 5* food options and a varied selection for everyone. We booked a romantic meal at the Beach Restaurant , the best Greek meze ever! I wish I could cook lamb like that. Good communication, letters to door to explain about changes to excursion start time . Lovely to have an evening entertainment too, live music aswell. ||I also enjoyed the Spa , such friendly staff an huge thank you so Terry , Georgia , Maria . I enjoyed the 5* massage and aloe Vera skin treatment , we can highly recommend Maria for a massage - a fantastic Honeymoon experience! |A huge thank you to all the hard working staff . We needed a late check out and extended our all inclusive with no problem. |We will be back !

We were welcomed on arrival with with cold drinks and food on after a late flight in. The staff were amazing and greeted you evey day with smiles , the service is what you expect from a 5 star hotel , rooms spotless, bar staff incredible, beach kept clean and tidy and always a sunbed awaiting your arrival. Pool great size and plenty of sun loungers available. But my hero's are the chefs , the all day food was delicious and the you just knew the level of effort put into each plate . Lovely hotel. Very clean. Was nice to experience Greek food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room overlooking the sea. Couldn't ask for a better view. Evening entertainment was very good. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Three restaurants to choose from. Gusto restaurant was amazing food. Thematic restaurant was also very good. Found some nationalities rude and self important. |Lack of lifts and incomplete handrails which for me having mobility issues was challenging. |Overall fantastic holiday and definitely a 5 star hotel.

Well, with some thought, I now need to express my view on this hotel!|It's not a 5* PREMIUM as advertised by TUI group. I am quite disappointed as we will not be returning. |Rooms are good, but customer service, especially at the beach bar, is not what I expected. I fully understand that many German customers return to the bar. However, when waiting in a queue to be served, the staff often seem to prioritize their favourite holidaymakers, possibly due to tipping.|This is not a 1 off winge because the very nice lady at the pool is the complete opposite!|In addition, this server is not 5* food always cold, who eats lukewarm fish soup, come on!|Entertainment is either very good or poor. |Good luck for the not-for-us, I'm afraid.

This is a fantastic hotel with extremely friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel at home from the very first moment. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and tasty dishes every day. But the absolute highlight was the beach — one of the most stunning sandy beaches we’ve seen in all of Crete, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun

Reviewed today We've just returned from a stay at this hillside hotel and overall, it provided a wonderfully relaxing escape. The location is one of its biggest highlights – tucked away in a tranquil area with scenic coastal paths and a few charming tavernas within walking distance. It's an ideal setting if you're looking to unwind and enjoy nature. Comfortable and Welcoming The hotel is thoughtfully designed into the hillside, giving it an elevated charm (literally!). While it’s a bit of a climb in places, the staff are more than happy to shuttle guests around in buggies, making it accessible for everyone. The team here are polite, attentive, and always ready to assist. Our room was clean, modern, and offered a panoramic sea view that truly made the stay special – definitely worth booking a superior sea view if available. A Thoughtful Touch During our stay, it happened to be my husband's birthday – and to our delight, we returned to our room to find a beautifully presented birthday cake waiting for us. We hadn’t mentioned the occasion to anyone at the hotel, so it was such a lovely and unexpected gesture that really made our day. A true example of the attentive service here. Dining Experience Meals are served buffet-style, and there’s a good selection available. While it leans toward the typical offerings of a 4-star resort, there’s usually something for everyone. We appreciated the variety and the effort to cater to different tastes, even if a live cooking station would have been a welcome addition. Drinks & Atmosphere The all-inclusive package covers the essentials, but premium drinks and crafted cocktails come at an extra charge. It’s a good option for those who enjoy finer drinks now and then, and the beach bar in particular offers a lovely spot to relax with something cold in hand. Beach & Leisure Across the road from the hotel is a beach area – more rugged than sandy, but perfectly usable with appropriate footwear. It’s not exclusive to adults, though it’s generally quiet and peaceful. We found it a pleasant place to sunbathe and listen to the waves. Evening Entertainment There’s a variety of entertainment on offer, from live music to movie nights under the stars. It’s not flashy, but it adds a nice touch to the evenings. A violinist performance added a bit of character to our nights at the resort. Final Thoughts This hotel offers a peaceful setting, stunning views, and warm hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the thoughtful birthday surprise – a small touch that made a big impact.
