Mythos Palace Resort & Spa - Crete

I stayed at this hotel in June and it was absolute paradise! The entire hotel is stunning and beautifully maintained, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Its location is also fantastic - quiet, with a gorgeous beach right on the doorstep and plenty of sunbeds available. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, and every member of staff I met was warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I also went on a few excursions during my stay, all of which were great fun and really added to the experience. A truly wonderful place for anyone seeking a relaxing break in Crete!

We stayed here for a week the end of August and I would like to say this hotel was wonderful. Reception area is stunning we had a lovely welcome from staff who greeted us off the coach and were keen to take all our luggage to our rooms for us. Transfer took around 1 hrs 20/30 minutes please don't let this put you off as its a very pleasant drive through beautiful Crete. Hotel room was a great size for 3 of us, loved the special touches and the complimentary water bottles ste a great idea! The food in the main restaurant was plentiful with lots of choice across all sittings, freshly main omelette are worth a try and the sushi bar one evening was a real treat. We ate at the Greek taverna on the beach one evening which was lovely to try a traditional Greek Meze, definitely worth a visit. We also tried the Arabic restaurant (buffet) very similar dishes to the main restaurant and lots of meat dishes, but nice to go for change of scene. All bars were excellent, from the Beach, to pool to the main bar ,staff were friendly, always smiling and on point every time. No issue getting a sunbed by the pool or beach at anytime, even if we started in the shade we followed the sun during the day as beds become free! If you like full on day time entertainment this hotel is not for you, this is a very relaxed, chilled vibe hotel, you will get the odd water aerobics once or twice a day but that's all, which suited us! We did take the little road train to a local lake where we you can take a dip and hire a pedlow and go looking for turtles, luckily we got to film a few, for 6 euros each it's definitely worth a little trip out. Overall a really lovely hotel that we would definitely recommend and consider returning in the near future, thank you Mythos!

Location was ok but need a car if you want to go out only a handful of restraunts shops and 1 supermarket across a very busy main road opposite side to the hotel. The hotel inside is beautiful you couldnt fault the decor bedrooms or restaurants. Most of the staff were very pleasant and friendly just the odd 1 or 2 that weren't but you get that everywhere. The food was fantastic with lots to choose from hats off to the chefs. Entertainment was good for those who want it but for those who would like to just chill there's not much choice to escape the noise as due to where it is put on it amplifies around as the hotel is a horseshoe shape maybe it would be better positioned at the beach bar restaurant area. If you are happy just to stay in the complex then this is for you or have young children this if for you really enjoyed our stay thankyou for your hospitality.

Fantastic holiday! The hotel was closing for the end of season around us but we never felt rushed or unwelcome. Every member of staff except one in the main bar were attentive, friendly and never made us feel as others have mentioned, second class for being Engligh. The stand out staff were the lady on the pool bar on a night and the lady on the beach bar, both made good cocktails and were so lovely to talk to.|For all inclusive buffet food they did an amazing job, always lots to eat, hot and well cooked. 10/10 for presentation too!|The room had every we needed. The only downside was the TV turned on and popped up every time you opened the door which was annoying and sound proofing could have been better, as you could hear every suitcase being dragged at all hours and the cleaning trollys arriving in the morning.|The room was spottlessly clean and well stocked. |We had a shared pool and that was clean and checked daily by staff.|The beach was clean and a nice place to relax. Even though it was October we went for a swim and the sea was lovley.|In the evening if you didn't want to stay in the hotel you could walk to the village in 5 mins under an underpass to avoid the road. We tried several of the bars and enjoyed them all.|During the day you can walk to Georgioupolis along the beach in around 30 mins.|We used the local buses and visited Chania, Rethemon and Heraklion, all were really easy to get to but Chaina proved to be our favourite.|We did use the spa which we found to be a good quality of massage at a reasonable price.|This was my partners first trip to Greece and I feel that the Mythos gave a true taste of Greek hospiality.|We are looking forward top returning.

We had a wonderful room with a great view the room was finished to a high standard . We have been to all inclusive hotels before and I would say Mythos Palace deliver all inclusive as it should be “you want for nothing” either food or drink or facilities . The hotel was maintained to a great standard and all the staff were wonderful and welcoming and nothing g was too much trouble for them to help you with. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and Valerie at customer services was brilliant in organising flowers and a bottle of bubbly the hotel also sent a cake and the bed was dressed with a love heart and flowers from the garden , again everything was done to the extra mile to ensure guests are happy . We will certainly visit again as we loved the hotel and it’s setting which was on a wonderful beach with a bar and restraunt which was great , we booked both themed restraunts and the food was exceptional.

This hotel is amazing. , it’s super clean and the private beach is just 1 minute walk from the all inclusive beach bar , there is also a pool bar that serves ice cold drink all day until 10pm. The pool itself is nice and cool and we kept sunbathing and jumping in and cooling off . This is a very relaxing holiday and good for couples who just want to chill and relax. The food is good and the A La Carte beach restaurant was amazing 10 dish meal 10/10. The staff are super friendly and help with any quirked you might have. Special shout out to Gannis on reception who was very kind and friendly. 8 euros in a taxi will get you to a small village of georgioupolis where there are some nice bars and restaurants and a few shops when you want to get out of the hotel for a night. Also opposite the hotel are a few shops and restaurants , we ate in Romantika and it was superb and family run and very cheap 50 euro for 2 x 3 course meals , I would bring kids under 5 to this hotel but I think children over that age may get a bit bored and would prefer the bigger hotels with water parks and more to do. Overall our experience was 10/10 and would stay here again

Very good and various food, comfortable rooms, excellent seaside and beach. Nevertheless I do not feel well the 5☆ level. Besides, there are no activities to let teenagers to know each other... for the rest the experience is fully appreciated. I suggest this hotel to anybody, especially for couples and families with young children (baby club age).

Excellent experience all round. Rooms were immaculate and the service from the staff was outstanding. Took a family of four (2 adults and two teenage sons) and we all had a wonderful time. If we are back in this part of the world again - we will certainly stay here!
