Big portion with lots of banchan. However the fish roes in cold noodle have pretty unusual lingament crunch, unlike what I thought fish roes texture would be in sushi. Maybe that dish is not for me. Apart from this the price is reasonable and everything is good. Will come back to try other dishes

Father Son bonding walk at Takapuna Beach, and had late lunch at Myung Dong after just passing by during previous visits to Takapuna. Ordered beef and veggies, and spicy squid rings, both on hot plates, and pork and veggies steamed dumplings. Came with 4 sides. Nice experience. Good food.

We came here for dinner, never really had Korean food, but the staff helped us decide on our dishes and also gave us some samples to try! Very nice! Highly reccommend

I recommend the original kalguksu- it was classic with a nice seafood flavour! 5/5
The spicy kalguksu had a really strong chilli powder flavour which didn’t quite complement the broth and masked the flavour. Definitely stick to the original.
Dumplings were all homemade and had a good amount of filling.
Also, we saw the half and half chicken being served to a different table and it looked really good! Will be back to try the chicken.🍗

Staff very nice. My beef soup not cooked enough. Was tough to pull off bone. Soup tasted really good though.

One of the best restaurants in Takapuna area. Main dish served with rice. Korean BBQ pork and beaf are worth trying. Weekends are usually crowded. Street parking can be found nearby. BBQ squid was not great. Fried dumplings are tasty. Lot of authentic Korean dishes available.
