Absolutely loved our stay! The environment was exceptional, surrounded by stunning scenery that made every moment feel like a getaway. The room was thoughtfully designed with unique touches that showed real attention to detail. The swimming pool and poolside bar were perfect for relaxing, and the restaurant served delicious meals in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Every part of the experience made us feel truly at home — a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Highly recommended!

Pros: An aesthetically pleasing, welcoming resort that truly enhanced our time in Chiang Mai. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had a neat touch, with housekeeping leaving cute gifts for us. Place was full of adult couples, yet remained quiet and peaceful. The AC was ice cold, and the blackout curtains in the room keep it as dark as you desire in the mornings. The breakfast was wonderful, serving a nice mix of pastries, jams and fresh honeycomb, ham and bacon, steamed buns and congee, and much more. Front desk was staffed 24/7. Located in a very walkable area with easy access to great restaurants and multiple night markets. Cons: can hear music coming over from a bar across the river at night, there are only four non submerged lounger chairs by the pool so it can be hard to get one. There is no gym besides three outdoor cardio machines.

Na Nirand was one of the most memorable stays of our trip. The property is incredibly charming—tucked along the Ping River with beautifully preserved architecture, lush gardens, and an atmosphere that feels both romantic and peaceful. The location is ideal: close enough to explore Chiang Mai’s night markets and old town, but far enough to feel like a quiet escape. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the century-old rain tree at the center of the property adds so much soul to the space. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches throughout—traditional design with modern comfort. We especially appreciated the balcony and how calm the whole space felt. Service was excellent across the board—friendly, helpful, and very personal. Everyone we interacted with was professional but warm, making the experience feel tailored and easy. The breakfast was delicious and relaxing each morning, and the pool area offered a perfect midday break from the Chiang Mai heat. Na Nirand isn’t trying to be flashy—it’s elegant in a quiet, grounded way. If you’re looking for a boutique experience with heart and history, this is the place. We absolutely loved our time here.

We had the most magical stay at Na Nirand. It feels like paradise. The staff were beyond helpful with recommendations and helping us with any questions/concerns. The pool is heavenly (and also very clean — there are some reviews saying it was dirty but this was not an issue whatsoever). Breakfast by the river each morning was peaceful and overlooks the large tree with several birds. We got a 60 minute Thai massage that was the best massage we had in Thailand — a little bit more expensive than what is offered elsewhere but well worth the extra expense. The wifi is on the slower side but didn’t bother us at all. Would strongly recommend you stay in this Thailand paradise.

My wife and I had a fantastic time here. We wanted for nothing. Breakfast was great, service was very attentive, pool always clean, the price is a bargain. They even shipped some (prescription) sunglasses we had forgotten to our next resort in Thailand, contacting the staff there to confirm. Not too bad of a walk to old town, plenty of other restaurants/bars along the way. They noticed the little things - after we drank all 4 water bottles on the first day, they began providing us with 6 when they refilled. Will 100% repeat here on future trips.

Great boutique hotel with excellent service. Very friendly staff and great pool. Nice vibe all around. The breakfast was great. Dinner was also superb and as good as some of the Michelin places I tried in Chaing Mai. Tooy’s service stood out. As did the Khao Soi I had for dinner in the resturant.

Fabulous hotel, very beautiful setting on the river but only about 15 mins walk to the old city |Service was perfect- we requested extra hangers, ironing board and teabags which were immediately sent to our room. We had a slightly bigger room which I would recommend especially if staying for a while (we had 6nights) |Ate in their restaurant twice and food was very good- club sandwich excellent and Thai food portions were large and tasty. Well priced. |Only comment re the lovely pool is that there are just 6 sunbeds around the edge with other beds actually on a shelf so you are in the pool - make sure you’re in swimwear if using those!!

This a beautiful resort with outstanding service. The let down are the rooms and bathroom we had was a little small and quite dated. The rooms electrical outlets are inadequate and poorly positioned and they are no USB sockets for charging devices. There is a serious need for a refurbishment to both the bedrooms and the toilets. Having said that, the staff were all without exception-superb. Breakfast buffet was decent and the restaurant cum bar enjoys a great view of the Ping River
