⭐️⭐️The food is delicious “ fish soup & Bacalhau/ Cod fish” 😋 Fish soup is more of a seafood, it has fish, clams and mussels. It’s a bit salty but still very delicious 😋 highly recommend to try. The owner of the shops is very friendly The cod fish/ Bacalhau is simple but very tasty 😋😋👌👌 Prices are affordable “ main dish & 1/2fish soup around 16€ It’s comfort food, highly recommended to try if you visit Lisbon. 😋🤤

Lovely small place in Porto. Excellent wines, surprisingly delicious food and very nice service. It is something different than what we are used to but it was highly recommendable if you want to have a good dinner.

Cute little place with authentic charm. Friendly staff, and focus on quality ingredients over fancy presentation. Simple, but so good. The wines are super good, and really fair prices. Highly recommend in Porto

Food is possibly the best one over the five days we have been in Porto. We had fish soup, black pork with pear, Duck Margaret all excellently cooked & served. Shame the restaurant doesn’t take bookings online. Also openings hours is a bit misleading as it says 17:00 but the restaurant only starts serving at 18:30. I was told it’s because the quaint restaurant also have a grocery which opens at 17:00.

This place is in a touristy neighborhood, but it feels very local. The food is tops. I can't wait to return.

The duck a l’orange is exceptional, perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Must try The selection for the cheese and meat platter is high quality, all very tasty, and generously sized. The olive tapenade was also really good. Friendly and reactive service. Would definitely come back

A small unassuming restaurant. We sat outside and ordered the black pork, lamb curry and duck. Each meal was sensational. On the smaller size, but the flavours were amazing. We also enjoyed some red wine ( by the glass) which was lovely. Highly recommend, our best meal in Porto!!!

Easily one of the best meals we've had so far on our trip. We had a variety of meat and seafood dishes and loved each one. I highly recommend the Pork and Pear. Our waitress was super friendly and spoke perfect English.

Yelp
This was our favorite meal of our weeklong trip to Portugal. After many days of meals that had failed to wow us, we were absolutely delighted with all the food we ordered here. We started with the fish soup, which seemed simple at first, but was flavorful and addictive. Much better than the other fish soups we tried in Portugal. We also got a charcuterie plate, which came with a generous amount of dry-cured hams and Portuguese cheese. It was a stellar deal, as even the small portion was too big for us to finish. We then got the black pork with poached pear, which was a wonderful combination of flavors and nicely tender, and the orange duck, which was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The portions were on the smaller side for the latter two, but we found that four individual items was enough for us to be pleasantly full. For dessert, we couldn't resist the sweet potato pudding, which tasted like someone had added sweet potato puree to a flan. It was delicious--smooth and deeply flavorful with its burnt caramel sugar. The restaurant itself was empty for almost the entire time we were eating there, which we couldn't understand given how good the food was. The ambiance is more casual (it feels like you're eating in a general store), so maybe it's more of a lunch spot for locals. Our young waitress was lovely and attentive. We really had a stellar dinner here at this local gem, and I highly recommend you try it too!

Yelp
This place took my breath away! We tried to dine the other night but couldn't get a table w/o a res. Came back for lunch the next day and had our socks blown off. The fish soup was truly divine. Full of flavor and just wonderful. I haven't stopped thinking about it! We also loved the shrimp curry w/ couscous. It remindedWe me of flavors you'd find in Kerala - which are some of the best flavors in the world, in my opinion. So, so delicious!!

Yelp
all i can say, is WOW. I randomly walked in honestly not expecting much, but don't let the empty tables scare you away. The servers are so kind and have very good English. I ordered the pork dish with pears and fruit compote, and truthfully, it is one of the best things I've ever eaten. And you should trust me, because I am a culinary arts major. PLEASE EAT HERE!

Yelp
We stopped in here because the aroma coming from it was hard to pass by. Turns out this was the mushroom soup. I didn't get it because I figured it would be creamy. Instead we got the alheira sausage which is a must try in Portugal. We also ordered some spicy butter for our bread. I decided on getting marinated mackerel and my friend got the shrimp curry. At this point our waitress said she was leaving but our order had been put it. Meanwhile another couple came in and was instantly greeted with bread and butter. At this point we had been waiting on the butter for about 10 minutes so we asked the waitress again. It was brought out after a couple of minutes. I was quickly brought my fish which turns out because it was raw, which it said no where on the menu. I tried it but I didn't like the raw fish or the flavor so I didn't eat it. After a while we asked about our sausage and the waiter said they usually only bring one dish out at a time but they could bring it if we wanted. We said yes. A few minutes later it came. Quality was fine but it was room temperature. While waiting for my friend's dish we could see the waiters standing around drinking. Also, this "one plate at a time" didn't happen to us anywhere else so it's not like it's something usual. About thirty minutes after we received the sausage my friend finally got her curry. It was a tiny plate and the couscous was cold (we thought maybe it was taking a while to cook). The curry flavor was fine but there wasn't a lot of food and after an hour wait we were over it. The menu only consisted of a handful of dishes. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. The food isn't worth the wait or service.
