"You can’t miss the hot-pink facade winking at you from the shadows of a teeny, tiny square on the Talaa Kbira (about midway down the slope between Bab Boujloud and the Attarine souks). A recent project of Najat Kaanache (who also runs Nur), this limited-seating hole-in-the-wall offers a rib-sticking menu ofMexican burritos lustily filled with grilled, smoky vegetables; slowly stewed meats; and lashings of salsa."

Nacho Mama was a nice surprise in the heart of the old Medina of Fes. We ordered beef tacos and they were delicious!!! We loved their hot sauce, although not too spicy it had a fruity taste that complemented the food greatly. The meat was so full of flavour! In one bite you could taste all the fragrance of Moroccan spices! Mohammed from the staff was very friendly, he welcomed us with a warm smile and we enjoyed our time while dining there. The place is very nice and cozy, the service was clean and fast. If you are looking for an exotic break from the local cuisine Nacho Mama is the perfect choice!

The pictures and reviews are nothing like what it ended up being. It was chicken tagine in a tortilla. So many better places to eat, but don’t expect a deviation from Moroccan food. This was not worth the venture!

As someone who has eaten tacos in Mexico and in California, this place was really good. The tacos were seasoned to perfection and the taste was as good as it can be outside of Mexico. I know you may not be looking to eat Mexican food in Morocco, but if you get a craving for Mexican food, I highly recommend coming here. Also, the price was just right.

We wanted to have a break from morrocan food and we found this Mexican restaurant. The price is fair, the taste is excellent, nice wife, nice atmosphere and super service. We came here 3 more times! Healthy food.

Not good. Truly not good. Burritos without guacamole, no rice. Not tasty as Mexican food. Bad :)

Authentic Mexican food in the Fes Medina! I always get the vegetarian tacos, which are delicious. If you’re hungry get two orders, since they’re small tacos. There are four very friendly staff from Mexico. In 1996 I lived right across the street and used to come here for mint tea...the lovely former owner retired and sold his cafe. I miss Si Mohammed, but this is a great new addition to the neighborhood :)

Food was divine. All compliments to the new chef! Incredible burritos after a long day of travel.

This place is more aspirational than actual. It’s got a great concept, i.e. offering visitors a respite from the usual Moroccan fare. But unfortunately, the day we visited there were no nachos (despite the name), no guacamole, no salsa, and the rice & bean veggie bowl was without rice & beans. It was instead smoked aubergine in a bowl that tasted a lot like a Moroccan aubergine salad. If they put a little more work into things, though, the place could succeed. I wish them well.
