Nagasaki Shippoku Hamakatsu

Outstanding service and quality. I ordered the course set that offered a wide variety of authentic, fresh, and delicious bites including sashimi, vegetables, soup, and meat. Guests can be seated in personal “cubbies,” so there’s no problem here with bumping shoulders with other guests. The restaurant staff were incredibly polite and professional. For a one stop shop to experience some legitimate Nagasaki food, inspired by a rich history of culinary fusion, I’d highly recommend stopping by this spot!

Professional staff. They were good at serving foreign guests. The food was also great. Prices were fine. Worth a try if you visited Nagasaki.

Search for ‘Shippoku Nagasaki’ and this will be the first place that shows up. Restaurant is very thoughtfully organized with blinds dividing the tables so each group can dine with a bit of privacy. Staff are very friendly and took the trouble to explain each course to us. While on the pricier side, it was well worth the experience.

Very decent Nagasaki shippoku style lunch set. The Chinese pork is surprisingly good and juicy. Highly recommended.

Kind of a fancy place where you can have the set menu with different variety of plates, and you can try the traditional pork of Nagasaki. Near an area full of bars and restaurants.

Please don't eat here! They have a whole page on the menu dedicated to whale meat, from an endangered species. If you have any ethical sense, please go somewhere else..
