"A historic fort located on the fringes of the Ranthambore forest in Rajasthan, India, known for its architectural beauty and historical significance."
"A Defense and Retreat When Maharajah Jai Singh II—the founder of Jaipur—built this hilltop fort in 1734, he did so both to create a royal retreat and to further fortify the burgeoning city below, connecting the complex with other structures like Jaigarh Fort via an extended defense wall. The complex (which is said to have been named for a dead prince whose spirit disrupted initial construction), was extended again some 130 years later, but that first connecting wall still exists today—though now the primary function of the fort is to offer stunning views of the surrounding Aravalli Hills and now-vast Jaipur. Make the steep, 1.2-mile trek up (or take a longer detour by car) to take in the vistas, and to wander through the fort's temples, open-air pavilions (where the kings would hear from subjects), and former royal apartments—including the two-story structure built for one King and his twelve queens."
Visited Nahargarh Fort recently and had a great time. The entry ticket is very reasonably priced at just ₹52 per person. The fort is open from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to explore at your own pace.
We booked our own bike to get there — cost about ₹50 for parking, which is also fair considering the location and security.
The views from the top are absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. The fort itself is well-maintained and offers a mix of history, architecture, and panoramic city views. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Jaipur!
Would recommend bringing water and wearing comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to walk around a lot. Overall, a memorable and budget-friendly experience. 👍

A must visit place in Jaipur. You can drive your car up to the top of the hill to reach this fort. Road in good but in the end very narrow. Parking is available near fort. From roof top of this fort, you get best view of entire Jaipur city. Amazing place.

Nahargarh Fort is one of the best places to visit in Jaipur especially if you enjoy nature and views. The fort is easily reachable by bike with a smooth road and a short ride through scenic hills. The views from the top are just stunning especially during sunset when you can see the whole city of Jaipur. The fort itself has beautiful old architecture and a peaceful vibe. There are a few cafes inside to relax and enjoy snacks. The area is clean and well maintained

Sunset at Nahargarh Fort is divine. The view overlooking the town and hills is profound. Beware of monkeys is REAL here! The rooftop is unlike any other rooftop, royal luxury. We had a great visit.

The experience in the fort is very good but its subject to the weather you're going in. We visited during rainy day and it was quite good (we had umbrellas with us) the view of the city from top of the fort is breathtaking. We miss some local food items near or within the fort. If they were there then it will be an add up to overall experience.

Visited Nahargarh Fort recently and it’s truly a must-visit! The day view is breathtaking, but the night view with sparkling city lights is simply unforgettable.
The place does get hot during the day, so the best time to visit is from mid-August to February.
A small tip: you’ll find monkeys around in the evening. Avoid carrying water bottles in your hand or teasing them – I had one snatch mine! Bring some extra water for them instead.
Overall, an amazing spot for photography and one of the best city views I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend!

The sunset view here is awesome. Whole city view vibes here only from Nahargarh fort. See the full pink city from here. It's a very lovely and beautiful view everywhere 👀. In summer going early in the morning or going to evening sunset time is best to see. The afternoon is very hot everywhere. But you have at least 2-3 hours or more to spend here to enjoy everything. Nice journey thnx all.

Nahargarh Fort offers one of the most stunning views of Jaipur, especially from the top. The architecture has a true Rajasthani touch, with beautiful designs that reflect heritage and culture. Standing here gives you a special feeling of connection with history and the lives of our ancestors.
A beautiful blend of history, culture and breathtaking scenery definitely a must-visit
