This fort is way less crowded than the Amber fort but equally stunning. The interior decorations are beautiful! At the top terrace you’ll have a great view over the city of Jaipur. This fort is really worth the visit!

This fort is located near Amer fort, and the best time to visit it is during the sunset! Although it's a much smaller fort compared to the Amer fort, it has a breathtaking view of the Jaipur City. If you visit the fort at around 5pm, you should easily see the sunset, and the city lights turning on! Jal Mahal and various stadiums can be observed from the top of the fort! They also have a restaurant in 1st floor, just in case you are hungry! Overall, it is a must visit fort, along with Amer and Jaigarh fort if time permits. I visited all the forts on weekdays to avoid traffic and overcrowding, you may plan accordingly.

Visited Nahargarh Fort in the morning and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and panoramic city views. The fort is beautifully built on the hilltop, offering a stunning view of Jaipur from above. Unfortunately, the Padao Restaurant was closed when we reached, so we couldn’t try it — it would have been nice to enjoy breakfast or tea with that view. Still, the fort itself is worth visiting, especially in the morning when it’s quiet and not crowded.

A fantastic place to catch the sunset from the fort’s rooftop. The fort is truly unique, and exploring it is a really enjoyable experience. And don’t miss the local monkeys — they definitely steal the show!

The journey along Gat Road to the fort provides a fantastic experience, including opportunities to observe peacocks. There are numerous viewpoints available, offering panoramic city views, including a view of Jal Mahal, among others.
