"Just as taking in some ofthe iconic sights—Mayan temples and rivers—is a must for visitors to Orange Walk, so is stopping for a meal at Nahil Mayab. The restaurant, the nameof which translates to "House of the Maya," isowned by a respected Orange Walk family. The garden restaurant serves a variety of typical Mestizo and Caribbean-inspired dishes in an inside dining room or outside on the patio under an umbrella. Sample the popular tacos arracheras (skirt steak), the pork salpicón (a chopped hash that's an Orange Walk specialty), fried fish, quesadillas, or a variety of burgers, salads, steaks, and pasta. The atmosphere is casual and lively, particularly on the weekends, when many Orange Walkeños gather here to catch up."

I will definitely go back. In the heart of Sugah City but doesn't feel like you are. Love the declarations. Some moderate street noise from passing vehicles if your dining outside. Wait staff was friendly and attentive and came to check if everything was ok throughout. The lady did have to come back and confirm the side that I wanted. The decorations were a bit long and fell on some of the tables. Some of the tables are of different design. For me, I don't really care about those type of things but just mentioning. Food was great. The chicken tenders were well seasoned. The BBQ sauce it came with seemed to be over-seasoned but couldn't figure out what it was. Fries were fresh. The steak was good. The mushroom sauce was delicious and no complaints on the sides. The dessert has go to be one of THE best presentations I've ever seen. Am unsure if this is all the time or just for the Mother’s Day weekend but the description was "A Divine Cherry Cheesecake in a Delightful Chocolate Bowl placed over a Succulent Strawberry sauce, Topped with Berries." It did not disappoint! For now, my favorite place to eat in Sugah City and am already planning a date trip with the GF.

Was looking for a nice place to sit and have meal with family just didn't want to go to a Chinese restaurant and this was an excellent choice. The food was good and the service was exceptional highly recommended if you want a goof meal when in OW.

Absolutely delicious food! Had the chicken fingers and fries with garlic cream sauce. YUM! Service was excellent. Loved siting out on their new patio area. 2 Collared Aracari joined us for a bit up in one of the trees in the patio.
