A Dream Birthday Getaway at Naïa Resort – Pure Paradise||I booked our stay at Naïa Resort in Placencia for my husband’s birthday in July, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of incredible. We stayed in a beachfront villa with a private pool, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations.||Every day felt like a dream – we spent our time swimming in the ocean, lounging on the pristine beach, sipping cocktails with breathtaking views, or enjoying the privacy of our own pool. The resort offers the perfect balance of relaxation and luxury, and waking up each morning to such beauty felt surreal.||Breakfast quickly became one of our favorite parts of the day. The fried jacks paired with local fresh jam were absolutely delicious, and the locally sourced cheese was some of the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant on property consistently impressed us with its breakfast and lunch offerings.||The staff at Naïa went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist. Whenever we needed a ride into town, their shuttle service was so convenient and affordable – far better than catching a cab. We typically enjoyed breakfast and lunch at our villa and ventured into Placencia village for dinner. It gave us the best of both worlds: the privacy and peace of the resort and the chance to explore the vibrant, welcoming community nearby.||If I had one small suggestion, it would be to expand the dinner options or offer more variety for room service in the evenings. However, with Placencia’s charming restaurants just a short ride away, it was easy to enjoy different cuisines and immerse ourselves in local culture.||By the end of our stay, I had fallen completely in love with Belize – the stunning landscapes, the culture, and most of all, the people. The staff at Naïa embody the warmth and hospitality Belize is known for. They made us feel truly welcome, and their kindness left a lasting impression.||This was one of the most memorable trips we’ve ever taken, and I can’t recommend Naïa Resort highly enough. We’re already looking forward to returning to this little slice of paradise.

The resort itself is very beautiful and the staff are friendly. However, make sure to lock your room and put your belongs away and in safe. Ensure that you get proper instructions on how to lock doors and use safe. On our first night last week we were robbed and we are pretty sure it was staff as they all knew when our group was gone for supper. There was another person in our group that was robbed as well. They went through all our rooms. We also got confirmation that it was an inside job when talking with a lady on another Caye as she said she used to work there and it was for sure an inside job. So be careful!

We stayed for 4 nights in a 2 bed ‘tree top’ house. It was a great size over 3 floors, with a fully equipped kitchen and washer dryer etc. The thing is it all felt so tired and dated. We had multiple maintenance issues including the gas supply to the hob, one toilet not flushing, one A/C unit not working properly, and the TV just didn’t function - it needed two remote controls, had no instructions and on the occasion it could be coaxed into operation, only yielded a couple of channels - despite the maintenance chap coming and seeming also confused about the whole thing. The decor looked really out dated and it looked about a decade past needing a refit.||On the plus side, there was a lot of room, and the kitchen had a great fridge / freezer as well as fresh coffee beans supplied and a grinder for the coffee maker.||One issue for us was that the resort is a long way from downtown Placencia which is almost a 20 min drive. We did find one good restaurant which was closer at the Blue Lagoon but the main ones are a fair drive away.||The pool and bar/restaurant area is pretty decent, and we liked the food and drinks and service - although notably we did not like the way the manager spoke to the staff - very rude, aggressive and condescending and unnecessary.||We payed about £400 per night for the house and frankly think that at this price point it’s reasonable to have accommodation which does not feel old and dated and having multiple maintenance issues.

Pure heaven in Belize. The beach front and beach view Studios are absolutely stunning! You feel as if you are alone on this beautiful beach in your amazing cabana. Comfort & luxury,| set the tone to enjoy a wonderful beachfront vacation. Your king bed is very comfortable, great sheets and pillows. Very accommodating cabana. Bathroom with two separate sink areas and an indoor & outdoor shower. A bath too. |Small accommodating kitchen with fresh coffee beans, and a grinder to make coffee out of a pot or your own French press. |You will have your own lounge chairs in front of your villa. All the staff at Naia are incredible! They are so helpful, making sure you are always happy and have everything you need. The restaurant, you can eat every meal there for a week so delicious. The spa is a must, Erin gives a great massage! So much more to tell. Go!! We love Naia can’t wait to go back!!!

The staff know you by name. There are Workers all around the property. They are prompt when you need something in your room. The food is fantastic. I definitely will recommend this to my clients The cottages are so nice, clean, AC cools the cottage perfectly. The bathroom is spacious. I loved the outside shower. Our pool was clean and private. Which we loved.

We loved our stay at Naïa! It was such a beautiful setting, from the pool to the cabana to the beachside bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a fun and comfortable visit.

The Naia resort offers large separate individual bungalows situated on the beach. We stayed in #35 which had a private plunge pool, bathroom with deep soaking tub and outdoor shower, separate bedroom, large living room and kitchenette. It was beautifully appointed and very well constructed with a top quality finish. The large front deck was covered and had chaise lounges and a dining table right next to the plunge pool. They had two restaurants on site. The food was very good and the service excellent. We booked a snorkeling trip through them and had a great time in the Kayes. The beach and grounds are impeccably maintained with constant care to keep them free of seaweed. It was rather windy while there but nature has its own mind. We had a great time and were very impressed.

Close to the airport with pickup. Great and professional service. Separate cottages which are quiet and have beach views. Excellent restaurant. Kayaks and paddle boards available. Excellent bar. The styling is amazing in the modern Caribbean style. Outdoor discrete shower. Spa on property.
