Naïa Resort and Spa

There is so much I want to say about this resort, but I don't have time to write a book. I was gifted a trip to this resort from having won on the Price is Right. I'm ready to be their spokes person of this resort because I can't stop telling everyone I know how amazing it was here. We (and everyone else staying here) were treated like royalty. All of my expectations we not only met but exceeded. My mom has mobility issues and we went on a boat tour that picked us up from the dock of the resort. When we came back there were staff members ready to greet us and help my mom off the boat. They were there before we even needed to ask for help. Every single staff member was a delight to talk to and get help from. I could go on and on about our villa but suffice it to say our room was so clean and beautiful. The outdoor shower was such a fun feature. After each time it rained there were staff members cleaning up the debris from fallen leaves thus keeping the resort pristine. I thought I was a cruise person, but after having stayed here, I'll never want to go on another cruise again. Naia Resort is where my heart now lives and I will be back.

If you are looking for fine, you’ll be ok. Luxury this is not, thought the price reflects luxury. As a resort that stresses safety and secured, we arrived as a family to a sliding door that was broken (one screen didn’t even fit in the guide rails), lamps that were falling apart and a window shade that was too short in the master that would fall off the window when pulled. The safe had the key access plug missing and the code given didn’t work and we had to have maintenance come again to fix this. The door has been fixed a few other times and is showing lots of age. The whole unit was showing age. Managers had tried to right this by offering a “very nice unit” two night before our departure. I traveled with my whole family, parents, brothers and their spouses, my wife and 3 boys (7 and 3 yr old twins) picking up and moving to a new unit with just 2 nights left was not an option for us. We stayed in the Madera unit from 3/3 and left today 3/7. This resort (this unit) is just tired. I don’t feel like a customer should be the only to call out basic maintenance items to staff. Do better, replace a long broken door for the next guests. Provide a secure building. Everyone is given a brochure when we arrived with available units for sale…that hit hard when we first saw our unit. The resort tried to correct this and I do give them some credit, but for the price of the 2 units we had, we shouldn’t have to be inconvenience by routine maintenance. I hope not, but expect a defensive reply given their past negative reviews they responded to. Do your research and decide for yourself.

From the moment we arrived at Naia Resort and Hotel in Placencia, Belize, we knew this trip would be special. It was our first time visiting Belize, and the service exceeded every expectation. The entire environment was breathtaking—peaceful, secure, and immaculately maintained. The resort itself is stunning, and the rooms were absolutely incredible, offering comfort and luxury in every detail. A special thank you to Kenny at the front desk, who was always informative, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable. His attentiveness, along with the warmth and professionalism of the entire staff, made us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Best breakfast, definitely try the fry jacks! One of the highlights was a private pier-side dinner arranged to celebrate both our friends’ anniversary and my wife’s birthday—a thoughtful gesture that made the trip even more memorable. Naia Resort & Hotel delivered an experience that was nothing short of extraordinary. From the gorgeous setting to the exceptional service, every moment was unforgettable. We are already looking forward to returning and reliving this amazing experience.

See my review for 1981. Surprise surprise, I got food poisoning. |I ended up getting sick in the hotel’s bathroom since which was a horrific experience and unintended. As we were walking to our room, the manager asked if I wanted a ride on the golf cart and/or a soda water to calm my stomach. I wanted to walk to calm myself and decided a walk would be best, but said the soda water would be nice. A few minutes later, she arrives at our room with the soda water and charges my husband $2 USD for the drink. This one act speaks volumes about their quality of service and interactions with the guest. There were many other small actions, but wanted to highlight one. We joked that this was the “clean-up” fee for my vomit. |While the resort was beautiful, it has definitely gone downhill from previous reviews. In interactions with staff, the majority seemed to be new, which is very telling of how a business operates.

A breathtaking experience that kept us filled with contentment, wonder and inspiration. We have traveled extensively and Naia is the one place that kept us in blissful awe the entire visit. The property, landscaping, the ocean, the beautifully designed accommodations and decor. The restorative nature and peaceful vibe at Naia is salve for the mind and soul. The staff is warm and wonderful and are the icing on the cake. So delightful. You really have to visit to feel it yourself. There is nothing else like the unique experience of Naia.

We can't say enough enough good things about Naïa. We've stayed there 3 times over the last 3 years, each time for a little longer. The place is beautiful, amenities excellent, and the people were great throughout. There are many wonderful things to see and do in Belize, but you really might consider a few days at this resort, especially the sea-side cabins!

This property is absolutely stunning. Guard gate security. Beautiful spa with lagoon facing private studios. We enjoyed massages and a pedicure here. Lunch was delicious. The cocktails were very well balanced. I believe this is the most luxurious resort in Placencia. Stunning.

I got a spa package at Naia resort and it was absolutely amazing. My therapist was Delvia and she made me feel so comfortable and took great care of me. The facility was beautiful and very clean. I got the facial and massage package which I would definitely recommend. Thanks Delvia!
