Nairobi Serena Hotel

Excellent service from the team. I was made to feel like I was at home away from home. Thank you! My room was spacious, comfortable and clean. An especially nice treat to have a complimentary bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine on arrival. The bathrobe and slippers and all the amenities were of high quality. The turndown service was much appreciated. Great food selection in the restaurant at breakfast and lunch. Superb and would definitely visit again!

Everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable and very clean as well as the bathroom. The service was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent food with many dishes to choose from. We also enjoyed photographing some birds in the garden.

After such long flights from Texas to arrive at this beautiful hotel was a wonderful experience. We were there for 3 nights before departing on our once in a lifetime safari trip. I have never met such polite, caring and professional staff in all my travels. They genuinely go out of their way to welcome and assist you. The spa is first class. We ate dinner at the Mandhari restaurant, it was so good the first night, we went back for our second night. It did not diappoint, the chef sent out a special appertizer of seafood. Delightful, the flavors of our pasta were spot on. We cannot remember all the names but, Robert was our super concierge, Mike was patient with my lack of knowledge with my new camera, and Flo gave Michael an excellent shampoo post hair cut by a very talented barber. Superb on all levels.

My experience was generally positive, but given the high standards set by the Serena brand, a minor lag in service was surprising. While the service was exceptional overall, there were a few isolated instances where response times were very slow. Additionally, I believe the property could benefit from some renovation and a fresh look. The restaurant also needs to improve its menu. Otherwise, it's a great hotel to stay at.

Everything in this hotel was spectacular from the rooms to the food to the service. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are so comfortable with beautiful bathroom products. The bed was so comfortable and the room was incredibly clean. The food was delicious. So far I have had a club sandwich, Thai prawns, a chicken stew, prawn and avocado and the best mutton biryani I have ever had. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Nairobi or stay again should I return. While it is expensive in comparison to other hotels I found it worth the money as a treat for myself (particularly after 10 days of game drives and camping)

We stayed at the Nairobi Serena after finishing a safari in the Maasai Mara. This hotel turned out to be a much needed oasis in the middle of Nairobi. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, they have two very good restaurants on site. Their gym is well equipped, and the heated pool was heavenly. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Stayed for one night while I was on my way to Webuye. So, i didn't get to see much of the hotel except for the reception room and my room. The room I was allocated was nice and clean. As a freelancer, i enjoyed the stable Wi-Fi and the quiet serene environment of the hotel.

The consistency of standards is always recommendable! For this Particular Visit, I would like to commend Elizabeth from Banqueting, who served us wholeheartedly from a recent meeting we had. She is natural, cared for our requests. She has a natural flair for the industry & deserves promotion or a raise! Thank you Elizabeth!
