I went to Naka on a Valentine’s Day (I was traveling for business and wanted to eat something in the town) and it was a pleasant dinner. The place was completely full and I still managed to get a table without a reservation and my food arrived super quickly. I had a Shake menu which was very good.

Good food but not so...japanese. Not so great choice of dishes: some menus, and very generic definitions. Good for someone at his first experience with japanese sushi&sashimi "world".

Naka is a cool place to eat, the ambience was really good. Relaxed and not too loud. They have some really cool seating. Hard to explain but the chairs sit on blocks so the chairs have no legs. Anyway the service was fantastic and the sushi was great. I recommend this place.

We selected the restaurant because they offered a full vegan meal that my wife really enjoyed. My non vegan meal was also good. Sat out on the patio on a lovely late Oct day 😁

Yelp
Great menu, lovely atmosphere, efficient service which is rare in France. Ive never seen vinegar rice so i tried it and i wish i could always have it. My sushi was fresh and tasty.. the beef and cheese skewer was too much cheese not enough beef, and shrimp shumai was the best ive ever had. I wouldnt hesitate to return for good Japanese food in Avignon!

Yelp
Need my Asian fix while here in Avignon and boy am I glad to find this place. Super close from our hotel and very easy to find as it is located in the shopping area. They don't have English menu but our servers English is good enough. Their food gets 5 stars from us. The shrimp tempura has 5pcs in an order but didn't come with any side of rice (hello? I live for that) tried ordering my rice I was given a no. I guess he didn't really understand me. The Sushi are fresh and my picky significant other was happy about it. The Gyoza is a must try. They call it ravioli here by the way. They don't have wasabi and instead they use this spicy oil. If you're up for sushi - Naka is the place to be.

Yelp
Upon seeing other reviews and in the mood for someplace with white rice after not having it for 8 days in France, we decided to visit this restaurant. Upon entering, it is a nice place, kinda like a eurasian fusion feel. We had first dinner seating so it was kind of empty. I ordered a dinner plate with salmon nigiri, salmon & avocado maki, these yakiniku sticks with strips of been wrapped around cheese (French accent to a Japanese meal), egg plant appetizer (was REALLY good), miso soup, bowl of white rice, along with a bit of seaweed salad. It was really good! My wife had udon with tempura. The curious thing was that there was no dipping sauce for the tempura unlike where you would find almost everywhere else (maybe a French thing? I dunno)... and I've eaten Japanese foods in different 'States, Japan, Singapore ... My son had a sashimi dinner and he said that it was really good. I managed to take a few photos, then the worker and manager came over to us to say that picture taking was not allowed. Oh well ... kinda deflated the experience a bit. So I can say I ate Japanese food in France at least once :)

Yelp
Nestled in a nice square, Naka offers delicious sushi. We had lunch here and ordered one of their menus each. Everything was fresh, prepared with care and tasted great. Given the amount of food included, the menu was also super good value. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh food. My husband had a "menu" and my friends and I ordered a la carte. The Naka eggplant appetizer is to die for. We ended up ordering a second dish. We had the salmon sashimi to share and it was perfect. We ate outside as it was a beautiful summer night. I did peak at the inside through a side window and it looks lovely inside. If I lived in Avignon this would definitely be a staple for us.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, food selections include set menus with sushi, sashimi, or udon, and they also have Unaju (eel on rice), kara-age (fried chicken), and yakitori on the menu. Decent sized portions with lots of extras included, like hijiki salad, miso soup, white rice, and tempura. Best of the Japanese/Asian restaurants we came across in the area.

Yelp
I love this place and come at least twice a year, not that sushi shop isnt fun but this is much more traditional upscale Japanese, nice decor and really cool vibe, and fresh cuts.
