Nakame no Teppen Honten

Everything on the menu was really tasty! The ginkgo was my favorite. Easy to order on their LINE (no cash). You have to duck pretty low to get in the restaurant so try not to hit your head!

Great place for some late night food. Many things we wanted to try on the menu, recommend the grilled mackerel, it's a must have.

Unique and delicious dishes with good vibe. Also one of rare places in Japan that accepts only card. Very friendly staff, reasonable price, good selection of food. Saba karaage, scraping tuna, 8-bone fish, grilled clams..

Wow. Delectable food. Would totally come back on my next trip! every dish was impeccable. I the miso pork, chicken, mushrooms, rice balls were all my favourite. Brought my baby along (they are ok) but no baby seat available, so be prepared for that

We enjoyed atmosphere in this place! Everything wad great! Definitely recommend as a great place to experience something local in Japan. And good thing that it’s not expensive. We booked this restaurant in advance. Very busy! And max two hours sitting

Very tasty seafood based local izakaya. Totally worth your time if you like unique and interesting local places. Very high quality fish, unique dishes and live view of all the cooking make it an even more unique experience. It’s hard to get in (literally and figuratively) and it’s not super cheap, so make sure you make a reservation beforehand.

This place was AMAZING the food they had available was so fresh and grilled just right. They do have an English menu and there was a lot of foreigners inside. I believe you need a reservation but I am not sure.

Good food but especially the atmosphere makes it a special visit.
