Food came out really fast, ordered sticky tofu bowl and green citrus tea. The bowl was quite spicy and a bit pricey for what you get. The tea was from Higgins & Burke. Visited on a Monday afternoon it wasn’t that busy and the staff were nice.

What a fun a unique place! Went for brunch with my son and his GF who is a vegan and gluten-sensitive. We had a great meal and some excellent coffees. I don’t mind vegan food and find that many vegan restaurants do a great job of making culinary creations that you’re hard pressed to tell are plant-based. I will say that the only concession I don’t like to make when I eat at a vegan place is the dairy-free options for my coffee but Naked Cafe has a thicker cream-like soy cream that actually feels like regular cream so my Canadiano wasn’t all watered down! Our meals were very tasty and filling. My son had a nacho-chip crusted burger with their house salad and his GF and I both had their Bacon and Broccolini hash. So good! I’d been there once before on my last visit and had their cauliflower tacos which were also quite delicious. This place does vegan food right. When non-vegans enjoy the food too, you know you’re a success!

Visited on the Canada Day, loved the food recommended by the server. Photos attached below. Visited again 3 days later, ordered pesto pasta, soup ,market poutine, brownie and coffee. Market poutine and brownie tasted average although was expecting them to be as delicious as the other items we had.

We could not get enough of this place! Stopped in after a long day of driving on a whim and were blown away. Had to come back on the last day of our trip to try more menu items. For vegans or plant-based-curious, this place will make sure you don’t miss old favourites!

Naked Café redefines vegan dining with its delicious, well-crafted plant-based dishes. The warm ambiance, attentive service, and fresh ingredients create an exceptional experience. Each dish bursts with creativity, proving that healthy food can be indulgent and satisfying. Even non-vegans will appreciate the rich flavors and thoughtful presentation. A must-visit destination for anyone seeking a delightful, guilt-free gourmet experience!

Google
My favorite vegan diner for comfort food! When I am in Kelowna I end up going pretty much every day, so many good food options and drinks! Some meals have been hit and miss, eg. My cauliflower tacos were pretty small/empty compared to what other people have posted here. However I had the corn chowder and Caesar salad and they were really good. Also impressed by their seitan!

Google
The Food was Excellent! Atmosphere is nice and relaxed, there's a collection of VHS movies and an Xbox 360+games+CRTV in the corner which is certainly a new one for me, I wonder how often it gets used? The servers were kind and the food came out in good time, even if it took 90 minutes to come out it would STILL be worth the wait, and I probably could have watched Aladdin or Peter Pan in the meantime. I had the Breakfast Wrap + seitan crisps (sweet chili soss) and I HIGHLY recommend that combo. The menu mentions cheddar cheese and eggs and bacon but it IS ALL VEGAN...it's kinda confusing and I got worried when my wrap came and looked very not-vegan, but have no fear, all is peaceful in the village square. Every component of my meal was delicious with the Seitan crisps being PARTICULARLY Filling :). Spicy mayo elevated the hash browns and although it was slightly on the pricier side of things, I was absolutely satisfied for the rest of my afternoon. A terrific spot!

Google
Good options and even better happy hour menu. Tried their cauliflower tacos and it came loaded. A great mix of colours with the vegetables made it even more appealing. Overall it was good, a tad wee bit on the dry side. Came with hot sauce on the side. Will probably try the bowls the next time I'm here - seems to be more of the favourable option. Clean restaurant and lots of seating. Reminded me of an old school diner also.

Yelp
Ordered through Door Dash and my hedgehog coffee was half spilled and the drink tab was flipped up. There was no seal or stopper provided to ensure that my drink was not tampered with. Nalu bowls were much smaller than several years ago. Requested quinoa instead of brown rice for one and request was never acknowledged. Fortunately the food still tasted good.

Yelp
This is my second time coming here. Very good affordable vegan food. Great for a healthy lunch. The featured poutine today had fried avocado, cabbage and other things on it. Gravy and cheese tasted so good and even better then non vegan poutines. The walburger made of beets and walnuts is a great burger substitute. The flavor and texture work and you don't feel bad eating it. The sweet chili seitan had really crispy chunks that fooled me as chicken. I sauce on it was a good balance of spicy and sweet. We went with a big group of around 12 and they were able to fit us. The wait staff is very nice. Though it took awhile for them to being out plates for the apps. I will def come again when I am in the area!

Yelp
Simple and delicious. The tofu pieces were crispy on the outside but so soft on the inside. The veggies and quinoa were cooked perfectly.

Yelp
We ordered takeout. Despite some of the names of the dishes, the entire restaurant is plant-based, yippee!! We ordered a side of Mac and cheese, beet/walnut burger (with poutine!), cauliflower tacos, beyond burger, and two cupcakes (which was too much food for two people, but who knew?). The poutine was excellent and a relief that the gravy is plant based, great flavor! Burgers were also really good, and the seasoned fries are excellent. Cauliflower tacos were probably my favorite, I loved the buffalo/vinegar hit of the sauce and pickled onions. I was really, really hoping for a nice creamy cashew Mac and cheese, but either they forgot the creamy part or that's how it is. Mine was dry, with a nice topping of cashews and cashew-based cheese on top, but no actual sauce. I'm kind of relieve I only ordered a side, instead of a larger portion. Overall we really enjoyed it - recommend for anyone eating plant-based, or omnivore - I think there's something for everyone.

Yelp
Naked Cafe is an absolute treasure. When I posted online that I was in Kelowna I had multiple vegan friends tell me that I had to try it. One friend claimed that they make the best friends she's ever had. I decided to go with a cheeseburger with a side of regular fries. If you can do a vegan version of the classics well, everything else is easy. This burger uses a Beyond Meat patty which is already a good sign. Oh my gosh though! If I lived in Kelowna, I'd be here every day. The burger was juicy and well-seasoned and the fries absolutely lived up to the hype. They are thin and crispy; definitely some of the best fast-food fries I've ever had. My non-vegetarian family all enjoyed their meals, even my dad who struggles with the idea that you can have a meal without meat. The atmosphere of Naked Cafe is a great compliment to their food. Understated, simple decor and a bright, clean space. I'm already dreaming about my next visit.

Yelp
I came really, really close to stripping out of my clothes, getting naked, and turning vegetarian. That's how good it was. An absolute gem, Naked Cafe is one of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants I've ever been to in my life. And I'm a meat eater! During a weekend trip to Sparkling Hill Resort, I decided by total chance to pick some place to eat in Kelowna before heading to the Resort. By a pure roll of dice and by the grace of the gods, I was led by Google Maps to this casual, clean, and comfortable place of purveyance. And boy was I lucky. Even if you're a meat eater, you'll find something you like at Naked Cafe, guaranteed. It's clean, reasonably priced, efficiently staffed, and the food was delicious and presented well. I opted for the Buffalo Chickpea Caesar for $13.00 which was beautifully presented, filled my tummy, and was as good as it looked. My special homie ended up getting one of the burgers (the name of which escapes me at this time) and subbed the side of fries for a poutine which was heavenlyyyyyy and so worth. The patty itself on the burger was thick, juicy, tasty, and didn't taste like it wasn't meat at all. I was very surprised! Loved the black-coloured bun, super unique. The menu had so many interesting things that I wanted to try them all, but didn't have the stomach for more. In total, we spent about $30.00, which we could have easily spent at any other restaurant so for the price and quality of food I give this place a 5/5! I'll definitely be coming back to Naked Cafe if I'm ever in the Kelowna area. A must try in the city - I don't know why it's not more popular! I'm so glad I found it. Can't wait to get Naked again soon!

Yelp
Great little cafe the food was really good and the service was amazing. We spent a week in Pensacola beach and we ate at Naked Cafe several times. The have gluten free options as well which was great for my wife.

Yelp
The coconut toasted latte is to die for! I love coming here for a bagel option or their tomato soup and kale salad, some other things on the menu are not so delicious. Service is good and vibe is great!
google avatar

Veena M.

Yelp
Absolutely loved loved the food! The restaurant has such a nice vibe, the service is great. Do try the Nula Bowl!
google avatar

Travis T.

Yelp
Ordered the breakfast sandwich and veggie breakfast. Both were delicious! I think the breakfast sandwich could have had some of the eh'gg on it too for some different texture! But the cheddar cheeze was also really good! Excellent vegan place. Will try to come back for a dinner meal! My only reservations were the cost, above average prices but worth it for an occasional treat.
google avatar

Yelp
A *must* for vegans! We got the Buddha Bowl w buffalo tricken and the Sunflower Alfredo w salt & pepper tricken. Both were impressive, nourishing, and filling portions. This place is a delight. The culture and vibe is top notch.

Yelp
It was my first time here last night and a couple months ago I changed my diet along with having many allergies, it made me extremely happy to be able to go to a restaurant and order anything I wanted!! This place makes is amazing, the food is delicious, the staff are so awesome and I couldn't be happier!! Thank you to everyone there for making me feel so comfortable and making such delicious food it's my new favorite place
google avatar

Shanna R.

Yelp
Probably one of the cutest plant based cafes I've ever been to! Atmosphere is great supported by friendly staff and the food is DELICIOUS. Would highly recommend to any veggies coming through the area
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
So so so so good!!! I would have a hard time not going here every day if I lived in Kelowna! Had the breakfast sandy, the hash browns with spicy aioli and a oat pumpkin spice latte. ALL DELICIOUS!! I even ordered the Pad Thai to go for dinner I just wanted to try more of their food! So excited for dinner now! Yum!

Yelp
After my visit to the kangaroo farm, I wanted something to eat near downtown so we could walk around the water afterwards and my family wanted something healthy so we decided to stop here. I'm straight up a carnivore. I love meat and always will. I usually never go to a vegan or vegetarian restaurant because you know, there is no meat. But this place really blew me away with not just the service but the spectacular food. After my meal, I had to reassess since I found myself liking cauliflower. No one likes cauliflower, it's broccoli's unwanted cousin. Below are the items we tried: CHILI CHIKIN $10 (BEST CAULIFLOWER EVER--HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) beer-battered cauliflower florets & cucumber tossed in sweet chili sauce on a bed of creamy coconut rice. garnished with green onion & sesame. HULA BURGER $13 (Not bad for a fake burger) beefy veggie patty brushed with organic sesame teriyaki sauce, melted Daiya mozzarella. pea shoots, grilled pineapple & organic mixed greens BUDDHA BOWL $13 (family loved it) quinoa topped with cajun-fried tomato, zucchini, mushrooms & non¬-gmo organic tofu. drizzled with a tangy creamy sesame sauce & sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds YAM FRIES $6 (BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES I'VE EVER HAD) with spicy mayo If I ever find myself in Kelowna again, I will 100% stop by here again.

Yelp
Very tasty and simple. The bowls are less filling than the burgers. We had the basic cheese burger and the one with the hoisin sauce, very tasty. The seasoned fries are delicious and they give a lot of ketchup ! We also tried the poutine, it was good but maybe not worth the extra 4$. But I still was very impressed by the taste of the gravy ! The chikin bowl was tasty, you have to know it's pretty sweet I will definitely go back
google avatar

Tee E.

Yelp
I had the Nalu Bowl - Kale, brown coconut rice, beet hummus, avocado, pea shoots, naked vinaigrette, toasted quinoa and chia seeds. It was tasty, and very reasonably priced at $12. However I would have preferred to pay $14/$15 for a larger portion size. Maybe offer two different sizes? Either way the bowl was delicious, the service (what little you need) was tolerable.

Yelp
My gf and I have been vegan for over 2 years now. Been to a lot of vegan restaurants/cafes and tried so many types of vegan food. We ordered a Buddha bowl and grilled cheese.. I m still amazed and impressed by their food + super friendly service!!! Good job guys!! Keep up the good vibe!!

Yelp
Naked cafe is one of my highlights in food experience while visiting Kelowna. It's a short walk from the waterfront . The good is great and the staff are super kind. Treat yourself to a great experience!

Sarah H.

Yelp
Possibly one of the most interesting restaurants that I have come across in Kelowna. This is all vegan restaurant and although I am not vegan, I do enjoy eating here and yes, the portions are really filling! I have tried their Nalu Bowl which is extremely delicious - warm brown rice, sprouts, avocado, beet hummus with seeds and kale + naked vinaigrette. I have also tried their Mozza Mushroom Burger with fries. It was soooo good and the fries are are extremely delicious and crunchy. Love that little sprinkle of whatever they put on the fries. Such an adorable restaurant. It gets really busy around lunch so it's better to go early for an early lunch or much later to avoid the crowd! Presentation of the food is nice too and great customer service.

Yelp
Amazing food I am glad we stopped here in kelowna. Nice variety I had a hart time deciding.

Yelp
In my short stay in Kelowna I have to say I found this gem way too late. The food is addictive, from the fries with the amazing seasoning to the salads to the burgers to the cupcakes, well let's just say all the food is fricking yum. What can I say, I wish I could have tried everything more than once. And best of all for me, it's vegan. I don't drink coffee, but my fiancé had a coconut latte and her exact words were "this is the best coffee I've ever had" And I can't mention the seasoning on the fries enough, my mouth is excited just thinking about it. Vegan or not, I believe that there is something for all. Oh and the staff are helpful and lovely, Make this place a regular spot so when I come back it's still here for me.
google avatar

Dawn D.

Yelp
I had high hopes. And they were all outta veggie burgers. The 'pulled pork' sammy was ok, but tasted like hashed sweet potatoes in a bun, and I've had way better textures for vegan Cubanos in Vancouver, Victoria, Portland.., I can see what they're trying to do here, give vegan people a comfort food destination, it just isn't, well, great. It's only ok. There are so many great recipes out there...chef, do some research! The service, also meh. Table service would've been so much better. Whenever I'm ordering from a counter and then sitting with a number on my table, it feels like I'm at a low quality cafe, not a proper eatery. Yam fries, cold on arrival. 'Tricken' burger...gross. It tastes like a plain slab of firm tofu. It is 'ok' because the atmosphere and music are awesome. I will give the rest a pass.
google avatar

Reid K.

Yelp
I'm giving this a three star because I've had one very good experience, and one very bad. The first time I was actually quite shocked. The staff seemed bored not only with their job, but with life in general (not a good attitude for a service job), and the server was dressed unprofessionally and well outside the boundaries of what's suitable for a restaurant. The food was mediocre, which wouldn't be so much of a problem if it had come in a reasonable amount of time. Close to an hour for poutine is not reasonable. Maybe the staff was off that day, I don't know. But the second time I ate here it was much better. The vegan burger was delicious, and served in decent time. The unsavory qualities of the staff as listed before were not consistent, and were much more to my liking (professional, kind, clean, happy, etc.). One more thing I'd like to mention is that while the experience was more pleasant the second time around, I'd personally have liked a remodelling of the restaurant itself. There is one row of tables along the wall while the rest of the room is filled with couches. I understand that it's a cafe, but it seems so only in name, as the menu consists primarily of food (just my two cents). I'd recommend you try this place out if you're in the area, particularly if you're vegan/vegetarian.
google avatar

Anelyse W.

Yelp
Excellent food and extremely friendly staff. Had the hula burger and kale caesar, which made for a great combination of flavours and textures. Healthy but hearty. I also bought one of the gluten-free muffins to go. To be honest, it wasn't very good (extremely sweet, odd texture, and it quickly fell apart).
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
One of my favourite spots in Kelowna, for sure. The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and well portioned. It's a casual restaurant with couches as well so you can easily come in for the complimentary WiFi and have a date with your laptop while enjoying some of their yummy beverage items. I encourage anybody vegan or non vegan to give this place a chance!
google avatar

Travis G.

Yelp
Can't count how many times as ive eaten here ...is that sad? I think not. Just good food and good service making a repeat customer outta me! Being vegan and trying to eat out can be tough but things are changing in the world and Naked cafe is leading the charge here in Kelowna! Everything they make is great, my personal favorite is the breakfast scramble with drip coffee. The best! All the staff rock and were super helpful to my wife and I when we were seeking info on good spots to eat in town. Hope they're just as helpful when I get my food truck up and running!! ;);) Love this place...10/5!
google avatar

Vanessa D.

Yelp
I visited in Feb with some family and would try it again. The staff were super friendly. Although it was busy, our meals came in a timely fashion as well. I ordered the kale cesar. I thought it was amazing and the portions were decent. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the overly drenched hot sauce chickpeas. I think for a first timer, it should specify on the menu different heat level options. The over kill of sauce took away from the other flavours in the bowl. Otherwise, it was still rather good.

T M.

Yelp
Hip brunch and coffee place. Worth the line up and friendly staff. Good assortment of teas, coffee including drip coffee and an assortment of light food options.
google avatar

Marton B.

Yelp
I am not a vegan, not a vegetarian. I love meat, but I came here once with my vegan friend and it was pretty good.
google avatar

Rahul N.

Yelp
I had their 'Nalu' bowl and omg it was so good! Definitely recommend this gem of a vegan spot in Kelowna.
google avatar

Lisa G.

Yelp
As a new vegan I gotta say...OMG!!! How can this be vegan?? I have pulled pork insanity, my daughter had the loaded poutine...equally as delicious! Huge portions of guilt-free food = happy humans!! We will be back. Offer. So often.
google avatar

Paige J.

Yelp
food is good but often takes a long time. I love their animal helper but! they did accidentally give my gluten intolerant boyfriend a gluten bun when we had told them his allergy several times while ordering. So be weary of that:) but I'll be returning for sure! The staff are so sweet
google avatar

Sandy W.

Yelp
What an amazing restaurant! Love love the food here and the service was A++. The two young ladies that worked the counter and floor areas were amazing - super helpful and super friendly! The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm and inviting. I ordered the veggie sausage scramble for breakfast and it the best veggie scramble ever, in fact the best breakfast I've ever had! I went back the next day and had the pulled Sandy (sandwich - which also happens to be my first name haha) and it also was the best sandwich I've ever had! I ordered the kale ceasar on the side which was an awesome side! I don't know if it was just a special for the day or a usual item, but i had the turmeric chai with vanilla liquor and it was perfect! It's obviously a popular spot - it was busy at breakfast time and lunch time. I can't wait to go to Kelowna again just for this restaurant - for the food and to visit the two awesome young ladies that work there! Note to Naked Cafe owners - please open a location in Vancouver and Hamilton, ON!!
google avatar

Martin R.

Yelp
Nice vegan option in kelowna! I'll go back when I'll be around next time! Try it! Don't hesitate!
google avatar

Gürkan Ü.

Yelp
I like that there is an all Vegan restaurant in town and it really helps to be comfortable as a Vegan. The food was quite tasty and the staff was very friendly. I intend to return and further explore their menu.
google avatar

Amy B.

Yelp
This place was amazing. I was visiting and came in twice for the kale Caesar. The dressing was delicious and I loved the coconut bacon. Will definitely be back anytime I'm in the area. Great selection and fresh dishes.
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp
Not vegan but suprisingly excellent food!!! Let me clarify - I'm not vegan thus usually wouldn't go to a vegan restaurant. But after this meal, which was outstanding, I would consider eating more vegan in the future. I certainly did not want people to think the restaurant was not Vegan. It is truly a vegan treasure.

Dana L.

Yelp
I had the Buffalo Chickpea Caesar and it was phenomenal! The dressing was delicious, the avocado was perfectly ripe. Left feeling refreshed from such a health & filling meal.
google avatar

Taylor N.

Yelp
Went to naked with a group of friends to enjoy some good healthy food. Was very impressed by the the fish I ordered called the Buddha bowl. I am not a vegan but enjoy trying to eat sustainably so this was a fun place to try. I have had bad experiences at other vegan restaurants but have to say I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere is very cute and there are lots of options on the menu. Vegan or not, I would recommend trying this fun and tastey spot!
google avatar

Taylor D.

Yelp
I come here often, because the food is overall very good, I love the coffee menu, and it's vegan!
google avatar

Aidan L.

Yelp
Still so, so good. Brought friends and my parents here and everyone enjoyed their food.

1 W.

Yelp
The staff is friendly and service is good. I had the veggie sandwich this afternoon it was delicious. I like their coffee too :-) I appreciate the vegan food and I liked my lunch here.
google avatar

Nica D.

Yelp
My favourite restaurant in Kelowna. I've come here several times and really enjoyed the tortilla soup and the nalu bowl. I was asked if I wanted to add some of the potato pulled pork and I tried it but it was a massive scoop for $4 and made it impossible for me to finish my bowl so I probably wouldn't do that again. The chia lemonade is ok nothing great. There's a lot more on the menu that I'd still like to try next time.
google avatar

Baily S.

Yelp
Stopped by this morning to find it closed even though both online and the window at the front says they open at 7:00 am on weekdays. Super lame.
google avatar

Kiefer C.

Yelp
Found this spot by accident while looking for a place to get a coffee and kill time. Everything on the menu looked so good that my girlfriend and I came back that evening for dinner. We each had veggie burgers with a side of fries and spicy mayo. Everything was fantasic! Not being a full vegetarian, the one thing I worry about the most is bland and dry food. Thankfully the food was full of flavour and had great texture, nothing dry here. I definately plan to come back again.
google avatar

Meredith D.

Yelp
Great little place to grab lunch...even if you aren't vegan. Tried a lemonade, burger fries and cookie. Slightly more expensive than what I was expecting, but worth trying out.
google avatar

Human P.

Yelp
Best restaurant ive ever been too, vegan or no! The food is absolutely amazing. The loaded poutine is addictive, ive driven there from penticton 3 times for it haha and the tumeric chai latte! Omg so good. They need to open one in penticton, id be there everyday.

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Amazing vegan food - so yummy. Everything is great. Love the cupcakes. A must visit place. Non vegans will love it too.
