Nakheel Mall by Dubai Retail

One of my favorite malls in Dubai and the only one located on the Palm Jumeirah. It has a variety of retail shops and restaurants, but there’s a lot of focus on entertainment. Highly recommended for families with children. They also feature very good restaurants and modern food courts. The rooftop also features excellent attractions. One thing I don’t like is the parking, simply because they close off several areas although they are much needed.

It’s difficult to reach this mall to be honest because of the massive complicated roads on the way.🥲 Coming here is only to see the view of Palm Jumeirah. The parking area is big enough and free, and it’s very friendly to visitors. But the elevator is really not convenient and the mall have two sides. The junction between them also makes visitors confused. Especially I need to complain about the washrooms, please build some more washrooms, and sometimes the washroom area only has one gender washroom, which is really weird.

Nakheel Mall is that kind of place where you come for “just one thing” and leave three hours later with a full shopping bag, an iced latte in hand, and dinner plans at the rooftop. It's not just a mall – it feels like a little city wrapped in marble floors, glass railings, and calming palm tree accents that remind you: yes, you're still on the Palm. The layout is smart – spacious walkways, clear signage, and enough natural light streaming in through the central dome to keep you in a good mood even before your caffeine hits. They’ve got a nice mix of international brands and UAE-born concepts, from fashion to tech, beauty to toys. Plus, Waitrose is here, which means your grocery run just got a little more elegant.

Palm Jumeirah’s Nakheel Mall is modern, clean, and not too crowded. While not as massive as Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates, it offers a solid mix of shops, cafés, restaurants, and a good supermarket. Easy access via monorail, and free parking makes it even more convenient.

Nakheel Mall is one of those places where you can easily spend hours without realizing it. It’s got plenty of everything—shops, restaurants, cafés, beauty salons, a cinema, and even a rooftop with views of Palm Jumeirah.

We had a fantastic experience visiting Nakheel Mall with the family. Located right in the heart of Palm Jumeirah, this mall offers a perfect balance of shopping, dining, and entertainment—without the overwhelming crowds of larger malls like Dubai Mall or Mall of the Emirates. The mall is beautifully designed, with a stunning crystal dome, indoor waterfalls, and easy access via the Palm Monorail. There’s something for everyone—our kids loved the Trampo Extreme and Fabyland play areas, while we enjoyed a relaxing meal at one of the rooftop restaurants with a great view. What really stood out was the convenience—ample parking, clean facilities, and a wide variety of shops and eateries. The View at The Palm, right above the mall, is a must-visit if you’re already here. Highly recommended for families, tourists, or anyone looking for a relaxed day out in Dubai!

The shopping centers in Dubai really impressed me. They were always very clean, spacious, well-tempered, and always smelled good. Everyone was always very friendly. You could always find almost anything you were looking for. The selection was always immense. Through this shopping center, you can get to "The View" for the Palm Jumeirah. I would recommend it to everyone.

I actually wasn’t planning to visit this mall at all 😅. We were heading to the Palm View Observatory but had to go through this shopping center. There’s a lack of seating after a long walk, which can be frustrating. The large gaps between elevators and the confusing layout made navigation difficult. Just trying to get to the ground level for a taxi pickup required walking in circles it felt like a waste of time and energy. The mall is bright, clean, and tidy, but a bit confusing to navigate. Or maybe i was just tired at that point..
