This place is AMAZING! My family truly enjoyed the experience, we’re definitely coming back.

If you are craving for some authentic local cuisine with a great ambiance, great service and away from the crowds from Papantla's downtown: This is your place. My family loved that much this place when we had dinner that we came back to have brunch a couple days later. This place should be considered a must if you are in town. Everything was perfect the 2 times we stopped by: service was great (the 2 servers we got were really attentive and kept an eye on my party to make sure we didn't need anything else, which is uncommon in MX), food came out quickly, the portions were big, the food was delicious, the wait was not that long, there was parking on the premises and the entire place was clean. At the end of our meals we had enough leftovers for the next meal 😋 Although, we were told that sometimes the waiting times could be really long (i guess we were lucky), i can say with confidence that it is worth it. In terms of recommendations, everything we tried was perfect. Including the drinks, they even make a really good Campechana (the same drink you can get in downtown Papantla in the little stall by the park) Next time we are in town we will make sure to come back again.

You need to try the “cafe de olla”, such a nice tasty coffee. I ordered the “enchiladas verdes” and they were so spicy that I couldn’t eat them, impossible to even eat couple of bites. Not recommend at all if you don’t want to be very disappointed. And they didn’t care at all that I couldn’t eat my breakfast We arrived at 9:30 and food arrived at 10:45, not the best service all at all. And all food arrived at different times. Only recommended for the ambiance. Por favor NO pidan las enchiladas verdes si no quieren estar enchiladisimos, están incomibles de comer. El restaurante no hizo nada al respecto. El servicio fue muy lento, se tomaron 1h15min en darnos nuestro desayuno y todos disparejos Sólo recomiendo este lugar por el ambiente, muy bueno

Best place in town. High quality ingredients, regional atmosphere, delicious food, very good menu. Reserve with time.

This is a typical tourist trap. Don’t waste your money on anything here; it’s not worth a cent.

What a fantastic restaurant! 😍 A beautiful, warm and inviting space. Excellent service. And simply outstanding food. The Queso en chile seco is 🌶️🌶️ but oh so delicious.

Excellent food, very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the service is super slow, so maybe bring a snack upfront for the waiting time.
