Nakula Familiar Inn

I have stayed here twice, the second time I walked through the gate they welcomed me back as family. I was amazed they remembered me! It is in the heart of Denpasar so you are away from the touristy places but right where you can immerse yourself in the real Bali experience in Denpasar. ||Although the road outside can get busy the noise inside the property is minimal. They have their family temples inside the property so walking past it every morning always puts me in a good mood. The property gives the feeling that you are staying with the family while having your own space to relax and unwind without being disturbed. ||The rooms reflect the price, for the value it is incredible. I have stayed in both the cheaper option and also the double room, both suited me perfectly for the budget I was on at the time. Although the conditions of the room could be improved slightly, general cleanliness, it makes for a very comfortable stay. The AC is perfect, hot water works like a dream and Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. ||Thank you again for another amazing stay, see you next time I'm in Bali!

I arrived in Denpasar and used the pickup service that the hotel provided. The family that runs the hotel is really helpful and nice. The rooms have a good size for the price and the air conditioner is working without a problem. The downside is the smell of the drainage system in the bathroom but besides that you get what you pay for. In the evening you can grab something to eat from the night market which is close.

Great experience for my first time traveling to Bali. Hospitality is very good, I love to talk with owners hours and hours. The drink is on the house, don't worry about asking if you need some coffee or tea.

What a great place! I Had to stay in Denpasar for a few days and luckily I found this guest house. Everything was very clean and quiet and the hosting family warm and caring. There are some nice cafe's and lots of street food within 5 minute walk. Highly recommended! Definitely a great choice for this price range. Enjoy Bali !

We booked the Nakular Familiar Inn on the advice of other TripAdvisor’s and they were not wrong! They arranged pickup from the airport which was so convenient! The driver was very nice and showed us around town a little. Once we got there the host was super friendly. She sat with us and showed us lots of places to go both in Denpasar and in all of Bali. ||There is food to order here too which was helpful because we were tired from traveling. It was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was traditional and delicious as well. ||The only thing I would mention is that it’s not as close to the airport as I thought. It’s about a 30 minute drive north. We would have stayed here either way but may have gone South that first night if we had realized that.

I was very happy with my short stay here. The location is terrific in that is is a short walk to the flower market and the main market. I also comfortably walked to the bird market, temples and museum. There are a few places to eat close by.||The other reason i liked it was that the host was wonderful. She gave me a map and provided tremendous detail on the best walking routes, places to eat, see, etc. She also applied some magical healing oil on my fingers after i closed them in a car door.||The room was comfortable. Not beautiful, but fine. The private balcony was nice but i opted to have my evening cigar/reading in the courtyard, which is very nice, and chatted with another staff member. The shower was lousy but everything else was great. I recommend it.

Super friendly people and a good location. The bed was great, though the “air freshener balls” in the bathroom smelled like paint. The shower only had cold water.

We are a group of 5 students and arrived at the airport of Bali and one member of the staff come to pick us up. The place is clean, warming and very beautiful! The location is also perfect! What we appreciated the most is the welcome they gave us and all the help we received: people of staff are really amazing, nice and friendly! Our experience in Bali was amazing and most of the merit is because of the staff of Nakula Familiar Inn! Really recommended!
