⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|Our safari at Naledi was truly unforgettable. Vuyani, our guide, was an excellent driver and incredibly knowledgeable — no matter what question came up, he had the answer, and his passion for the wildlife made every game drive special. Sydwell, our tracker, was exceptional. His sharp eyes helped us spot two leopards (the hardest of the Big 5 to find!), and his great sense of humor kept us smiling along the way. Their excitement during sightings was contagious and made us appreciate every moment even more.||The lodge felt like a sanctuary — our room was a perfect blend of rustic and modern, like a treehouse in the middle of the reserve. The indoor and outdoor showers and the infinity pool overlooking the reserve were highlights. The team went above and beyond for our honeymoon, even surprising us with a “Happy Honeymoon” message on our bed made of sticks and flowers.||The food was excellent, creative, and beautifully presented. I have a severe shellfish allergy, and the staff was incredibly attentive — checking with me daily about the menus and always offering substitutions if needed. We felt completely safe and cared for.||Highly recommend — Naledi exceeded all expectations!

Wow, we were pampered and spoiled. What an exquisite lodge, beautiful rooms (or actually a whole house/veranda/bedroom/deck/spa/bar). Wonderful views from the viewing deck. Delicious food, really so good (best beef fillet ever…😋), lovely staff, and the sunrise/sunset game drives with expert ‘driver and tracker-team’ was simply awesome, interesting, jaw-dropping driving skills and tracking skills, wonderful sightings of lion, rhino (white and black), elephant and Cape buffalo herd. It was so well organized and so luxurious that sometimes I had to pinch myself.

Naledi Lodge is a treat! My husband, 13-year-old daughter, and I stayed for three nights (in Leadwood) and everything was exceptional. Everyone was extremely attentive, accommodating and thoughtful, the food wonderful and the game drives spinetingling and spellbinding! Our tracker and our guide were phenomenal and really went the extra mile to give us the best possible experiences. Thank you to all of the fabulous team at Naledi, we loved our stay in every possible way.

If we could give 6 stars for our 3 day stay at Naledi we would! ||My wife and I visited Naledi for 3 days in January 2025. We were incredibly well taken care of by Marise, Matthew, Lilian, Decide and Chef Dudu throughout our stay. The food was delicious, our room in the Paperbark suite and the entire property is meticulously maintained, and they made incredible efforts to make our trip as enjoyable as possible. They succeeded! ||The game drives with Oupa and Excellent exceeded every expectation. They are true experts at guiding and tracking the majestic animals in the Balule reserve, and just incredibly lovely gentlemen to spend time with. We saw so much - yes, the Big 5, but also warthogs and hyenas and giraffes and hippos and zebras and impala herds and beautiful birds; sunset and sunrise and a rainbow one morning took our breath away. On our final sundowners, Oupa and Excellent took us by the Olifant River where we enjoyed the sunset and drinks surrounded by hippos and a grazing rhino. Each day felt like a treasure hunt - we gave very little input, allowing Oupa and Excellent to do their thing, and loved every minute. ||This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my wife and I, as we were visiting South Africa from the US for a friend's wedding. I went back and forth between the more well-known reserves (Sabi Sands, Timbavati) and was unsure what we'd be able to see in the summer season (our visit was in late January) - I'm so glad we chose Naledi and if there's ever an opportunity to visit South Africa again, we will be back!

From the attention to detail and personal touches for each of our party to the unbelievable game drives. Our driver Vuyani and Tracker Jimmy delivered every animal we requested and went beyond any experience we have had before. The reception staff seemed to know who each of us were without having actually met any of us right off the bat. The rooms were luxurious with amazing views of the bush.||The guided walks were fun and informative about all the small things you just don't notice on drives.||The food was great and there wasn't a moment that we were hungry.||Can't wait to visit again||||

I highly recommend Naledi Lodges for an amazing safari experience. The food is great, with tasty meals made from fresh, local ingredients. From breakfasts to dinners under the stars, every meal is delicious. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. They even helped me plan a special proposal during the safari, which turned out to be a perfect moment. The safari itself was amazing, with plenty of wildlife sightings. The guides are knowledgeable and make the experience even better. Naledi Lodges offers fantastic food, great service, and a memorable safari!

Vacation in February/23: It’s almost a Mission Impossible to describe how more than perfect our stay in Naledi Lodge was. It’s really difficult to find words to say how incredible it was. But let’s try: First, the begging: we booked this hotel to be our honeymoon in 2020, in the best room, Rock Fig Suite. But, then, the pandemic happened and we lost this opportunity. Two years later, I sent an email to Kjell, the great and so attention owner of the hotel, to try to book again. Since our budget get lower, we asked, this time, for an intermediary room, Paperback Suite. Previously to the arrival, since the hotel website offers wedding services, I told, by email, to Kjell that, because of the pandemic, we didn’t have a marriage ceremony with our relatives and parents; so, I asked him if it was possible to have a renew vows in Kruger Park (and he arranged everything!). Finally, we arrived in February 2023. During the transfer to the hotel, already in the Kruger Park, an elephant. Impressive (on that time, that we had no idea what was coming). When we arrived at the lodge, TK met us in a special way: so attention, with welcome drinks and amenities. And, then, started to give us some “gifts”: first, the information that the hotel is just 5 rooms (really exclusive!); and that we got an upgrade for the best room, with a pool with a Kruger Park view. The room is really impressive: completely clean, with an incredible decoration, totally luxurious, and with showers inside the bathroom and outside. Why outside? To have some experiences like we had to being taking a shower in our first day and see, in front of the room/shower, an elephant and it’s baby. The food is something really difficult to find words to describe it: Dudu, the chef, is an artisan. We had some of the best dishes and deserts that we have ever have in our international vacations! Congratulations to have a so spectacular chef! And also the person that help her is serving the guest - incredible attentive! About the games, WOW! More than 30 elephants in our first game (with a lot of babies), rhino, lions (a lot!), leopard and giraffes… but that was just the begging. All the games were amazing! Vugani and Sydwel, driver and tracer, were really attention with us, trying to explain everything about the animals and plants, and also looking for them in a way to find all the Big 5 (in the firsts 2 games we got it). But the most incredible happened in the third game (we also had an amazing bush walk): in the sunset, the guys took us to the top of a mountain in Kruger Park. And, there, as a surprise (I knew it would happen, but not how or when), we got our renews vows with a indescribable view of the Kruger Park sunset, with Kejj and his team (we have no words to say how thankful we will ever be!). So, if you want luxury, know that Naledi Lodge has nominated 07 times winner of World Luxury Hotel Awards. And is really impressive how luxury is it with a huge structure (leaving room, swimming pool, game room, and others stunning areas), all of them with a Kruger Park view (and animals). If you want to have impressive safaris, we had the best ones, with so many animals, and so many information provided by the Naledi team during it! It’s really unforgettable! If you want to have an unforgettable dining experience, this is the place! What a superb hi level cuisine is provided in this hotel! If you also want to marry or renew vows blessed by the nature energy of Kruger Park, the hotel also provide this service in a special and thankful way. And, for sure, we will come back! And recommend to everyone to go there!

The lodge is nice enough for the value of what you are paying, but at the end of the day what takes the cake is the staff and the quality of the game drives. This is our second time returning to Naledi, and I would return again just for the staff. They have wonderful people working there that make your experience so much more enjoyable. The trackers and guides are also really amazing, funny, and talented. We saw the Big 5 and had amazing game drives with them. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a more affordable experience compared to fancy lodges, it's a really nice place. Thank you Naledi!
