Yelp
Not your typical Vietnamese-pho spot
Ambience: Upscale Vietnamese restaurant, when you enter and look around you, they have put high-effort to making you feel like a local.
Parking: Lots of parking located in New Kennedy Square, be prepared to fight for parking cause there's lots of good restaurants here and when dinner time comes, be ready to go to war)
Service: Long wait times, waited about 45 minutes for a table of 3, they are busy, had I known you can waitlist on Yelp, I would have but it was a last minute dinner decision.
When we sat down we had to flag a server down for tea/hot water.

Food:
Pho Dac Biet (Restaurant special with rare beef, tendon, beef balls)
Ordered with fresh noodles. Broth was good, but would not say great, was not overly seasoned, could have used more flavor.
*Can pick between fresh noodles and dry noodles.
Rating: 3/5
Bun Rieu (crab tomatoes noodle soup with mince crab and pork with mince eggs in noodle soup)
Could have used more flavor, felt a little underseasoned compared to home cooking. Did not meet expectations on this one.
Rating: 3/5
Banh Bot Loc (shrimp and pork clear dumplings)
Topped with pork floss, cilantro, lettuce, hint of lime, crispy fried shallots.
Thick wrapper, flavorful with the fish sauce.
Served with fish sauce to dip.
Rating: 4/5
Famous Dry Wings
Crispy, savory, fresh. Juicy.
Served with cilantro and topped with an onion paste.
Rating: 5/5
Overall experience: For Markham pho it's not bad but does not hit the spot like other restaurants more west (re: jane and finch)
Good date spot and food is good for the location, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here though
