Nam Bộ Boutique Hotel & restaurants

We had dinner here last night. The restaurant is cute and in an excellent location along the street by the river. I ordered the shaking beef and husband had Malababa soup with ground pork and bitter melon with egg. The shaking beef was ok but it lacked the intense flavor of typical Vietnamese shaky beef, and in fact was bland. The soup and the bitter melon were ok as well. Basically the atmosphere and setting is really nice but the food was just ok.

The restaurant has two separate menus - one with Western and one with Vietnamese food. We ordered Vietnamese food only and everything was delicious. I'd definitely come back to the restaurant to eat here again. HOWEVER - about the pet turtle near the bar - please put him in clean water and set up a heat lamp for him! :(

We only stayed at this hotel for one night one our way across the Delta. The room was absolutely beautiful with a separate lounge on the corner of the hotel, with fantastic views across the water and the city. We wished we could have stayed longer as the hotel was so nice and the town was lively and fun.||The breakfast was on the top floor and we ate outside on the roof garden. Breakfast was superb. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. My husband had a bit of a cough and at breakfast the waitress appeared with a tea of lemon and honey to try and smooth it for him, which was a nice touch. We were also given a free welcome cocktail when we arrived.

4.5 stars instead of 5 stars. a nice place to stay, with very friendly staff, in a great location. Rooms area bit small though. The restsurant is generally OK, but very overprized and dishes small

Just bought vegetarian noodles from here. They said it would take 10 minutes to make so I returned after ten minutes. Told to wait another ten minutes. Basically they hadn’t cooked it despite the restaurant being empty. Worse still is the noodles are instant noodles for 135,000 VND.

Stayed here for one night as a family in two rooms. Lovely boutique hotel in excellent location. Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely views out to the river. Staff friendly and helpful at all times. Enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant upstairs.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay, despite being in the thick of everything I slept solidly so the noise isn’t a problem. We had a really lovely suite with direct views out onto the Mekong. Very happy to stay here again. Staff were lovely too… didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment about the food.

Perfect spot on the river front to overnight on our trip to the Mekong River delta- older hotel with good airconditioning (important when it was in the 90s Farenheit!) , good shower and comfortable bed. Very clean suite style room with delightful decoration. Location on the river front allowed us to walk at night and see the neon lights that decorated bridges and boats. The 4th floor restaurant proved to be a lovely and quiet spot to have cocktails and appetizers when we checked in in the evening. A plentiful breakfast with the best croissant we had in Viet Nam was included which we enjoyed when we got back from the early AM trip to the floating market. Very pleasantly surprised by this boutique hotel. Highly recommend it
