Tried their Szechuan style spicy cold noodles. It is super small. Just a couple bites for $9. It tastes really good but it is expensive for cheaper ingredients. It would be nice for them to put more noodle and veggies. It only filled half the container.

With my friends been there for almost 5 times??? They constantly come out new desserts!! I really love their desserts with sticky rice and red beans etc, most of them tastes not too sweet but purely enjoyable!!kinda both nutrient and tasty, comfort desserts tho!

Very underwhelming. Got the osmanthus rice cake and it’s very bland except for the syrup on top. The texture is not fluffy nor soft. Maybe I have to resteam it? But there’s really no osmanthus flavour beside the syrup.
Very pricey for 10$… just some bland stiff rice cake…
I know they’re not supposed to sticky like mochi, but I was expecting a lighter texture, between a 松糕and 糯米糕。but it was weird and stiff.
It’s IG worthy tho, nice decor and nice staff. But overpriced and underwhelming.
UPDATE: finally figured out why the texture is weird. After resteaming and forcing down three more pieces. The bottom 30% was not properly risen. So it had the texture of a gummy muffin… the top 70% part is how it’s supposed to be though - dryer, slightly fluffy. Hope they improve their technique soon!

We enjoyed going to the Richmond location and we are happy to see another location open up closer in Burnaby.
For myself, the rice cake snacks feel very unique. I recommend trying their signature items before trying other flavors.
One downside is I didn’t see any free parking nearby. Only city street parking.

We love Mochi/Dango and have been all over Japan trying it, we were excited to try this. The mochi was soft and the filling was nice, was it worth 5 bucks maybe. The service was great, but it scored low on the amount of over packaging for this product not environmentally friendly at all.

Love the Soybean glutinous rice cake and redbean glutinous rice cake the most. They're soft and chewy. Very nice to see the package with reusable insulation bag that keep the products cool or warm.

A spot with mochis filled with creative flavours. There's something for everybody. The fried dough is unfortunately only at the Richmond location. I tried the persimmon lava mochi which I thought would be like a custard steamed bun but it was really a ripe persimmon inside. All the other flavours I tried were good too (mango and durian).

So…. I love mochis so I was excited to try this place. Had I known it was Korean type mochi I would’ve saved my $20 elsewhere. The chestnut and date rice cake was sooooo dense and dry it was hard to eat. I can’t even force myself to finish it and even offered to my family but no one enjoyed it. Each Mochi ball was $6-7 and it was small. We got the salted egg yolk and pork floss and the mango mochi. My son didn’t even want the mango one. He said it didn’t taste good, the mango inside had turned brown. The only saviour was the salted egg yolk one. Although it’s good, it’s not something I would ever go get again. The package was very cute though but very wasteful.
