We spent 5 days and 4 nights at Naman Retreat as a family, and it was truly unforgettable. Despite a significant flight delay from Narita, the hotel staff greeted us warmly at Da Nang Airport with smiles that instantly lifted our spirits. The early morning transfer in the hotel’s comfortable car (about 30 minutes and only around ¥2,000) was a welcome relief.|At check-in, we were introduced to Harry from the reception team, who became our dedicated contact throughout the stay. He even connected with us via LINE, making communication seamless. Our package included daily massages, and Harry helped us schedule everything upfront. Even when we needed to make changes, he was incredibly flexible and responsive—just a quick message and everything was taken care of.|Our villa was surrounded by lush greenery, offering privacy and tranquility. It had a private pool and was just a two-minute walk from the beach—an ideal setting for relaxation. On our first night, we dined at the hotel’s beachfront restaurant. They kindly prepared pasta upon request (even though it wasn’t on the menu), and the pizza was delicious.|Breakfast was served daily at Hay Hay Restaurant, with a buffet that featured freshly made pho, eggs cooked to order, and a rotating selection of pastries—all of which were excellent. The coffee was freshly brewed and flavorful. While the fruits and juices were milder compared to Japan, they were still refreshing.|On days 2 and 3, we joined optional tours arranged by the hotel and were lucky to have Ms. Linh as our guide. She took us to Ba Na Hills and Hoi An, speaking clear English and showing thoughtful care throughout. She took plenty of family photos at just the right spots and happily accommodated our requests to visit specific shops and restaurants. Her historical insights added depth to our sightseeing experience.|On days 4 and 5, we explored Da Nang on our own using Grab (similar to Uber). Our first driver was fantastic—we stayed in touch via Instagram and he ended up handling all our transportation. Grab was easy to use, with upfront pricing and reliable service. Even during these self-guided days, Ms. Linh kindly helped us by making restaurant reservations, which we truly appreciated.|Above all, the people of Vietnam were incredibly kind and welcoming.|The hotel was clean, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing family vacation.|We would absolutely love to return!
