Nami Nori’s Hand Rolls Are Worth the Wait | The New Yorker

"I found the brand-new, chicly appointed hand-roll bar to be worth a certain amount of inconvenience: it isn’t cheap, but it offers a much more accessible avenue to seafood of the highest quality because the chefs worked at Masa. You can try to avoid waits by arriving at 5:30 when it opens or just before 11 when it closes, or grab one of the limited nightly reservations; service is exceptionally efficient (orders go to the kitchen via tablets and expediters direct dishes like air-traffic controllers). A useful rule of thumb here is that the less exciting a dish sounds the more delicious it’s likely to be: “Calamari, yuzu soy” was one of the best things I’ve eaten in months—pearly, sushi-grade squid in an ethereally puffy, chewy rice-and-tapioca batter. Nori chips were almost like savory toffee, the hard crunch melting into salty stickiness, and the yogurt-chive dip that came with them rivaled the finest ranch. Some items disappointed—the plum sesame salt on the edamame was undermined by overcooked pods, and the furikake fries were surprisingly limp (though I liked the ketchup doctored with tonkatsu sauce and Tabasco). The temaki (hand rolls) are delicate U-shaped nori cups of rice and fish: the best-seller, “spicy crab dynamite,” is a crunchy temaki (nori encrusted with crispy rice) and a fan favorite, while the California temaki showcases a cool clump of sweet crab meat on creamy avocado. I preferred the mellow simplicity of fatty toro with fresh scallion to the frillier sea bass with daikon, perilla, and chojang or to the lobster-tempura with yuzu aioli and frisée—though one woman at the bar declared the lobster-tempura temaki “the best bite I’ve ever had in my life.” (Temaki $5–$10.)" - Hannah Goldfield

Went here for a late night sushi craving and to my surprise we were very satisfied. Fish was smooth and delicious which is always my main concern. We ordered the gyoza and spicy edamame which also had great taste. Portions are perfect…I detest when the rolls are oversized. I will definitely be back! They also have tepanyaki which we did not try but it looked busy and people seem to enjoy the atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. Also… I spent less than I normally do at my regular sport so A+++

Google
Food was delicious! Service was great and our chef was very funny and kept the energy light and fun. Definitely recommend getting the filet migon! It’s so buttery and juicy! It literally melts in your mouth!

Google
1st time trying their food and the worst experience ever.! I asked for medium plus on my steak and it’s fully cooked, burn at that. Shrimps were cooked to much they were hard to chew. Some chicken was burnt. Everything was bad.! Never will I eat here again. 1st and last time for sure.

Went during dinner on Friday night because other restaurants were too long of a wait. Wasn't too busy. Service was okay, atmosphere was nice, and the sushi was good. No big complaints. Would probably eat again if we were in the area. Ordered the chicken curry and sushi.

Google
Very fresh food great taste great service very clean restaurant I loved the fountain at the entrance with the koi fish very cute set up. Only place opened passed 9p with sushi very happy we came here I loved it will be back for sure ... Only thing that wasn't to my liking was the teppanyaki bacon fried rice didn't taste like bacon and didn't have egg in it the spicy garlic edamame was fire! the California roll tasted fresh! Really enjoyed it ty

Google
Delicious spot for both sushi and teppanyaki! The food was fantastic- we had the Dinosaur Roll, and 2 single teppanyaki orders (chicken & salmon). Everything was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and piping hot. The servers were attentive and made just the right recommendations. I'd describe the atmosphere as lively but quiet enough to easily have a conversation. Very comfortable and a few different seating arrangement options. I'd highly recommend Nami- what a treat!

Google
The teppan was OK . Not great Not bad. Easy to get a table . Chef was all business. Did enjoy the noodles ( almost pad-thai ) they cook with the teppan-trio . Better choices in Fresno.

Google
The staff is always amazing! Food is excellent. I always get the chicken, steak and shrimp dinner with 6 oysters on the halfshell and a dragon and Fresno roll. Yeah I know, I take some home. The Tepan chefs are awesome, meals cooked to perfection. The sushi chefs are great too. Original specialty rolls are great. Thanks Nami, our favorite Tepan in town!

Yelp
Came in for a early sushi dinner and to our surprise found out it was also a teppanyaki spot as well! We came around 5PM so it wasn't as full and we definitely got full attention from our server. He was quick with just about everything. The sushi itself comes with a striking presentation and the portions are super generous. With just 2 people, we got full off just 2 rolls and an app. Although it is a little pricey, you definitely get the amount you pay for! I would def go back!

Yelp
Unfortunately this didn't really hit the spot when my family and I went. The service was kind and we were seated fairly quickly. There were plenty of tables, so there shouldn't be a huge wait whenever you plan to visit. We ordered the baked mussels, lobster roll butterfly roll, another one I can't quite remember and a teriyaki bento box. The baked mussels were my fave, but to some, they might be a tad bit spicy! The butterfly roll was fresh, but I was able to finish all of those in about 5 or 6 mins. Lobster roll was just ok, and again had a bit of spice to it. Tempura veggies in the bento were good but overall for the price compared to the amount of food/flavor, there are other sushi spots I would pick for much cheaper and a little more enjoyable.

Yelp
We were in the area where we went to play virtual golf... we seen this place as we drove in so after building up an appetite... we decided to go check this place out... We had no idea it was a tepanyaki restaurant but when they asked us if we wanted to try it... how could we say no:/ I love Salmon so that's what I chose... of course it came with soup and a salad. This was very filling! The margarita was a bust and sooo sweet...so I switched it out for a coke... the steak and chicken was delicious too. They did not remove it from our bill.... Oh well! We are absolutely coming back for more... The only thing that would be nice if it was fresher inside:)

Yelp
Was craving sushi and my husband recommended this place (he recently dined in with a co-working during lunch break). I remember coming in a few years back when they first opened we waited a few minutes at the front no one came to greet us so we just decided to leave. Fast forward to yesterday. It was around 7:30pm I called and asked for current wait times. The lady who answered my call was kind and I told her 2 adults, 1 child and one in a stroller she said it was about a 15-20mins wait. We got to the restaurant at 8pm was greeted by the kind ladies at the front and was told it would be a 15 min wait. They have dine in and teppanyaki, we had asked for dine-in. We got seated about 5 mins later. Our server was nice. We ordered a side of bacon fried rice for our toddler. And my husband ordered the Nami Love Boat for 2 with a king crunch roll, we thought about more rolls but our server had said it was alot of food. Our food came about 15 mins later. The Nami Love Boat came out in this cute big wooden boat. The assortment of sushi consist of; 8 pc of chef's choice, 16pc sashimi and spicy tuna roll and 1 chef's choice signature roll. The bacon fried rice was okay, alittle bland. The soup and salad was good. The sushi rolls and sashimi rolls that came in the love boat were all fresh and delicious. The king crunch roll was okay, it was a cooked deep fried roll which consisted of tuna, yellowtail and salmon. My husband and finished all of our order our server was quite surprised and said he's never see anyone finish the love boat for 2. We were stuffed and sushi cravings satisfied. Overall, service is great, restaurant is beautiful and clean. The sushi were fresh. I would return.

Yelp
Oh my goodness! Perfect service! Clean bathrooms! Clean restaurant! Food is top notch! Sushi is top notch reasonably affordable and fresh! We sat ourselves and the hostess got our waters right away. The seats were comfy and tables were decorated with fresh flowers. I've been back twice since with my family to try the tepenyaki and wow!! Amazing! We had so many left overs! Best tepenyaki place in town

Yelp
Everything was great, as always. Just the four of us at a table. Wonderful. This is our spot for birthdays.

Yelp
Nami Sushi hands down a great sushi restaurant. The food is so delicious and they give you your money worth and yes the restaurant is accessible and very accommodating. My son is special needs and requires a quiet area to sit away from the noise. They promptly accommodate us. The food came right away from kitchen to the table. Nami is so so yummy. My family and I had a wonderful dining experience at Nami located in North Fresno.

Yelp
Late night party of two, we were seated promptly. The appetizer and rolls we ordered were delicious. Presentation, especially when the two rolls combined was served, is noteworthy. Although, the service seemed emotionless and slow considering there were few patrons dining, I do plan to return for the Lion King roll.

Yelp
Food was good and fresh. Service was fast and friendly. The presentation of our dish was beautiful!

Yelp
I love Nami! It's my go to place for teppanyaki and I always recommend to people... but today me and my husband decided to go get late lunch / early dinner around 3, the girl in the front wasn't all that welcoming, we decided to sit at a table today, ordered 2 teppanyaki plates and a sushi roll, we never got the sushi roll, no big deal things happen and they took it off our bill. Where my issue is, is with the service and food, we were checked on 2 times the whole time we were there and at the end of our meal had to try to catch a server to bring a box after waiting about 30min without anyone coming to check on us. The steak was good but the chicken was so chewy / mushy I couldn't eat it, the noodles were also chewy, it honestly tasted like it was made the day before in their sauce and just reheated with more sauce. Really disappointed in our experience today especially having paid $75 for 2 people

Yelp
3.5 stars Service 4 Food 3.5 Ambience 4 Was just there last night. The ambience was nice, I enjoyed the roomy booth for the 4 of us, the warm lighting set the tone & of high importance to my old ears, was that it wasn't too loud or crazy in there on a Sunday around 4ish. I was boardering hangry so that didn't help my attitude and impatience. But after sitting what seemed like too long, we flagged down a not-so-doting server & asked him if he can take our order. He did. Turned out he wasn't our server and I'm glad because I liked the 2nd guy who waited on us a lot better. I didn't know if I wanted the salmon skin salad, my go-to, or the avocado salad. The server recommended the avocado one. So glad I opted for that one because not only was it good, sweet and healthy, it was prettily presented with a purple orchid on the side. I wanted a low carb option, Hubbs wants sashimi all the time, kiddo wanted a roll, so we compromised & decided on a sushi boat that costs around $72. It came with a bunch of sashimi, nigiri, a spicy tuna roll, and the Fresno roll. The spicy tuna was okay, I wouldn't get it again, but it was okay. The Fresno roll I definitely wouldn't get again because I like raw fish. It was big, but just not my cup of tea. The sashimi I didn't really eat but Japanese Hubby kept commenting on the off putting color. For instance, why was the maguro on the nigiri and sashimi 2 different shades of red one dark as blood, one light as pale skin in the snow ? Why was the hamachi a weird color? Suddenly, I was concerned with stomach issue on our 2.5 hour drive home. Would I be pulled over on the side of the road on anxiously rushing to get to the nearest stinky gas station bathroom? The side salad was good tasting, but the iceberg lettuce was literally swimming in dressing. It had more dressing than lettuce, not even exaggerating. Granddad had the teriyaki chicken bento. He shared the chicken & California roll. I tried the tempura onion and my carb loving kiddo said it was too much batter. I agree. The tempura sauce needed an oomph of flavor. All in all, it was average sushi. Good service, acceptable ambience, but I don't think I'd be back. That's too bad because the teppanyaki option on the other side looked like a nice option, the restaurant big & roomy for parties, looks like it has lots of potential.

Yelp
I haven't even the left the restaurant! I'm so hangry I felt the need to post IMMEDIATELY!! The service is extremely slow. My food sat on the counter for a good 10 minutes. Here's my husband's empty plate and my Fresno roll just got to the table. I'll never come back. Despite the appetizer actually being good. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. Bring you4 own napkins because they won't give you enough & order refills before the waiter leaves because he'll never come back to check on you. You need MORE WAITERS!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Every time I visit the food is always really good. Service has always been nice. Sushi rolls and Bento box are always fresh. I love the food presentation makes me feel fancy! I enjoy the casual atmosphere and the mural of cats in the background.

Yelp
We haven't been here in years, frankly because there are so many teppanyaki/japanese restaurants saturating Fresno. The first time we came here was way back when they first opened and they had the conveyor belts that served sushi to the tables. Fast forward to now and a lot has changed (in a good way!) We loved everything that we ordered from the regular dining room, and our server was very personable and prompt. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning soon!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here close to 9pm. Had their signature cocktails which wasn't great me because it just tasted very very syrupy. The service was good, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The miso soup came out lukewarm warm, I had to ask him to warm it up. I like my soup to be piping hot. The mussels were good the flavor on it was tasty. We ordered the stuffed jalapeño and the jalapeño was pretty raw and hard still. I like it to be more cooked. Calamari was great I would recommend that. Oysters were juicy and good but needed more flavor, it was missing something. We had the salmon it was called butterfly something lol it was ok only because there was a bone still in the salmon. The seafood salad was ok, it barely had any salad mainly raw fish. The place is big and they do also offer teppanyaki. Overall I had better sushi/teppan at better places.
google avatar

Codie H.

Yelp
We've driven by this place a lot, so we decided to stop for lunch. Inside, the place is faintly reminiscent of Japan, and seems quiet and peaceful. The decor is well done. The place is divided between table dining and Teppanyaki, and both types of dining are available. We chose table dining, and we had both the salmon and the steak Bento Box lunches. The food was well prepared, flavorful and the serving sizes were generous. We each very much enjoyed our meals. Miso soup is served first, and we loved it! A salad also comes first. For us, the salad was very plain and uninteresting, but the dressing was very good. The teriyaki sauce in the main dish was wonderful, and the tempura vegetables were light and crispy. A word about service: we waited some time after entering to be acknowledged by anyone, when we were finally seated the service was OK, but a little slow. To be fair, there is a "Help Wanted" sign posted, so maybe that accounted for the service level. This place was pretty good, and we'd recommend it. For the price, the food is good and the place is relaxing.

Yelp
I had originally gave it 3 stars, for honestly pretty small things and the next time I came they completely fixed everything, the server remembered the avocado for my daughter and gave it to me on the house (I felt like such an a hole they genuinely didn't have fresh avocados) and another time we came he also gave my daughter a cute balloon toy, and remembered our whole order safe to say I feel bad for complaining about small things, they are so kind & recently went with my partner and he had the teppanyaki and said it was the best and beats all other places in Fresno! 10/10 namis, will continue to come with my baby for our Friday lunch dates
google avatar

Karla G.

Yelp
It was our first time eating here and we ordered the Crunch Roll and Rock N' Roll. Both were very delicious and the seafood was fresh. We were seated right away. The lighting is dim which made for a more relaxed ambiance. We will definitely stop in when we're in the area to try more of their great variety of sushi rolls.
google avatar

Teresa C.

Yelp
Ambience and decor is beautiful here. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. The shrimp in the bacon shrimp fried rice was not clean properly. There was still poop. The hamachi collar and fried calamari did not have much flavor. I was truly hoping to have some wonderful Japanese food today
google avatar

Breanna G.

Yelp
Yummy! I love their dine-in! the ambiance is amazing! Great sushi, chicken is amazing as well, service was a little slow and that's what's stopping me from voting 5 star! but besides that me and my husband loved the food!
google avatar

Sophie A.

Yelp
Had to try this new sushi spot. Although there is waiting it mostly for teppanyaki. The teppanyaki is in a separate dining area but the aromas travel throughout the restaurant and where your appetite. We came in for sushi and tried a few signature rolls which were very good. We went off our usual course as we had a guest with us. Will definitely try more sushi next time.

NkaujSheng T.

Yelp
Rice was hard and tasted old Dishes didn't look like the photos! Poor service and quality! Never going again!

Yelp
By far my favorite Teppanyaki restaurant. Sushi also stellar!! Chefs are so talented and frien
google avatar

Yelp
Food was amazing and service was by far the best service we have gotten in a while, if not ever. the new chef you can tell he loves his job with the creativity and thoughtfulness in the food. our server was a sweetheart and she was fast and attentive.
google avatar

Ash K.

Yelp
Always happy with the quality, and price. Service is friendly. We come for the sushi on some days, and teppanyaki on others. Both experiences are great.
google avatar

Johnny Q.

Yelp
A huge selection of food and experiences with the sushi and teppanyaki offered at this restaurant. Food is great value and very delicious. One of the best sushi restaurants in Fresno and I would come again. Service was quick and the restaurant is spacious.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is phenomenal, we have been here twice and this time we went as a family. The service is and has always been one the best things about this place. They are quick, courteous, and very accommodating based on dietary needs. Now the food, let's just say wow! We have eaten here twice as I said already; and twice we have experienced the Teppanyaki style of preparation. These chefs are awesome and always provide an incredible experience and show in their food preparation. Blades flying, food flying, flames are definitely flaming from the stovetop it's exciting and part of the show experience. As we have learned twice already start out ordering small as quickly you are overwhelmed with food, from proteins, to rice, to the most amazing garlic noodles I have ever had! This place is amazing and I have always loved their spicy tuna sushi. The ambiance is casual and very family friendly. Please make this your next stop for some amazing Japanese food!

Yelp
food was 10/10, couldn't recommend it higher ,,service was amazing and I just love it

Yelp
After reading some of my own friends negative reviews, I was kind of leery of eating here. We ordered 2 teppanyaki combination dinners which totaled $70.45. A wonderful surprise was they give you spicy mayo with your meal...NO EXTRA CHARGE! The only downside was our waiter. We're guessing he is new. We asked for forks. Never got them so we asked a different server. We had to ask for more water. We had to ask for our bill. We had to ask another waiter to take our bill. We had to ask another waiter for 2 to-go boxes. So bottom line, great food and the new waiter needs more training.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
I've never had such a disappointing dining experience at a teppanyaki restaurant. From the start, we were seated at a dirty table. When I asked to move, the staff told me to carry my own plates and menus over, something I've never been asked to do in a sit-down restaurant. Service was consistently rude and inattentive. We had to ask multiple times for refills, and when food was finally served, plates were slammed down on the table with no regard. The food itself was bland and far below expectations for the price. The worst part was at the end. We chose not to leave a tip due to the poor service, but as we were leaving, our waiter "Ronnie" followed us with the checkbook, told us we "forgot" his tip, and pointed at the tip line demanding we fill it out. When we explained that we did not tip intentionally, he yelled at us, told us we were not welcome back, and slammed the checkbook on the floor. Unprofessional, unwelcoming, and unacceptable. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food or basic respect as a customer. I understand everyone has off days, but this was beyond disrespectful.
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
I believe I've had better tasting Japanese food. The food servings aren't generous. It satisfies your taste buds when you're starving, but it just didn't provide an excellent cuisine experience.
google avatar

Bill B.

Yelp
Food, Service and Ambiance... I'd give it a 10... Everything was perfect. Beer was cold, food was hot, staff was pleasant and you could tell they worked as a team. Impressive. I texted my buddies about how good my experience was. Give the place a try. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
We ordered drinks to get us started, I got the love potion and my friend got blushing geisha, they both honestly tasted very similar but the love potion was more sweeter and thicker, wasn't a fan of either. We also got a Fuji apple flavored sake and i really enjoyed that. The oyster was good, nice and plump but I do wish they would've added more ponzu to it. The stuffed jalapeños I didn't care for, the jalapeño itself was undercooked. The butterfly kiss was good but I did find a bone in it as I was chewing. The miso soup came out warm, I wanted it to be hot, we asked them to microwave it but it still wasn't hot enough for me or my friend. Baked mussels were ok, I've had better. The fried calamari was our favorite thing, perfect crisp to it and very delicious. The seafood salad was good but it could've used more seaweed in it, the picture on the menu had a lot more seaweed. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The space in there was nice but quiet, we did get there an hour before closing. Overall not my favorite spot for sushi, it was ok, will I be going back? Probably not on my own, if a friend happened to want to do their birthday there that would probably be the only time I would go back. But I don't see myself craving for anything there besides the calamari.
google avatar

Rebekah M.

Yelp
I had a hard time deciding between 2-3 stars. We came here because where we went had too long of a wait. The prices are comparable to other teppanyaki places. I do like that they serve noodles here I think that's a neat touch. However my meat wasn't good. It was overcooked chicken and shrimp. I also had pretty much raw veggies. Like inside of carrots and broccoli were still raw. I don't think that I would come back here unless I was invited with friends and I would probably try to talk them into somewhere else. My cook was very nice but the servers never came for refills or anything. I had to flag someone down.
google avatar

Flower M.

Yelp
this was my first time trying this place, overall it was alright but left a little to be desired! The interior/ambiance is nice and clean. the service wasn't super friendly, the food itself was alright. I ordered the chicken katsu and it was pretty bland. the gyoza appetizer was yummy, the chocolate cake for dessert was also alright. Overall, not bad, but i feel like there's better Japanese food in the area. i wouldn't mind coming here again to maybe try something else, but it wouldn't be my first pick
google avatar

April N Ray T.

Yelp
I have never seen nagiri sushi cut the thin. No taste in sushi rice and I was disappointed in the lukewarm miso. Udon is no longer. Calamari tastes more flour dipped then tempura. Service was good tho
google avatar

Jen C.

Yelp
Close by the house so I figured why not. Ambiance: Clean, friendly staffing, open space, and they have a pretty cool wall of Japanese art towards the back. Each table had fresh flowers which was a nice touch. Food: First thing, no they do NOT have a revolving sushi. The host said that was taken out years ago and after the pandemic it never made it ways back. We ordered karaage chicken and you should too! They used dark meat which was tender and juicy. The chicken were cut into large chucks and coated with a crispy batter. I been to places where karaage chicken was served with spicy mayo, but at Nami they served it with a sweet and sour chili and it was actually addicting. 10/10 I ordered a deep fried roll 8/10. The batter was too thick for my liking and the crunch on top wasn't fresh, but the sushi roll itself was very good. The roll was covered in a mountain of imitation crab and shrimp. Delicious!! My fiancé ordered the steak bento box. The steak was cooked as ordered and the shrimp and vegetable tempura was crispy and light. 7/10 As we watched other people's orders come out we were jealous. The food looked good and had a nice presentation. Will definitely come back for raw sushi next time and also try their teppanyaki. Try the karaage chicken!

Yelp
One of my favorite japanese spots. For faster service I would do dine in. Best experience. Teppanyaki is a long wait from our previous experience. Their sushi though is so good as well as their teppan plates and spicy edamame appetizer. The apple sake is good. Really nice vibe. I love their cat wallpaper

Yelp
my Daughter has been wanting to come here for awhile, so today for her Bday we tried it DISSAPONTED !! service was not good , we went of the pictures for our orders WRONG! not even close not sure if we will be back , i felt bad , my daughter was not happy , i hate to dog the place but nothing tasted fresh , maybe we caught them on a bad day

Debbie K.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place... friendly people good food entertainment on the teppanyaki side.. will definitely return

Yelp
Excellent customer service, the food is delicious and beautiful. Presentation of food is beautiful who would no you can have beautiful food. This is one of my fav restaurants.

Yelp
We came here after trying to go to another Japanese restaurant that was closed for the night. I came before a rush of people and I noticed that they weren't that organized in making sure that those who came first sat down first. But it took a simple nudge/comment for them to rectify it but it's something they can work on. I ordered a tofu teriyaki bento box and the tofu was the most soft and well-seasoned tofu that I've had. It was super good! The box also came with miso soup, salad, California roll, and tempura. The fried rice was a bit oily and could have jsed more flavor but it was fine. The tempura had too much batter and wasn't that crunchy. The California roll could have had more avocado and the salad dressing wasn't amazing. My friend said her sushi roll seemed really small compared to extravagant rolls we saw most everyone else get. So it's a matter of knowing what to order. She also wasn't a fan of her crab. The service was good and the ambiance is a step lever casual. Someone was there for their birthday and I could hear the teppanyaki performance in the other room, so it was a bit loud. Happy this place is pretty good and would return! Prices are a bit on the higher side, about $25-35 a person but there's a good amount of food that you get.

Yelp
Took my nieces to try sushi for the first time, it was a fun experience overall. The sushi appeared pretty fresh. Our server was patient given we took a long time to decide on what we wanted to order. They do have hibachi as well and plenty of seating. The inside is nicely decorated and comfortable feel to the restaurant.

Yelp
Awesome place!! Must visit weekly while in town. Lunch Trio for teppen. Chicken, steak and shrimps. Under $30 lunch with a drink. Lunch often has no wait for teppen and cheaper prices.

Mariana Q.

Yelp
Terrible service, all employees, we're just tosssing the items down on the table and also handed us the incorrect amount of cash, they kept the cents, All employees had an attitude when asking for their service and so unwelcoming. Never going to come back again. Please get some new employees, severs.

Yelp
Man when I tell you I enjoyed every second here I truly mean it. This place brought so me so much joy the staff is amazing we had the teppanyaki and the person cooking our food was fun an amazing, started of with the onion volcano trick then tricked us with a fake egg getting tossed at us etc soo much tricks up his sleeve was top tier entertainment. Overall the place was beautiful inside the portions are heavy and filling I had to take it too goo a very delicious. If you haven't had this place I'd 100% recommend you give it a try you won't be disappointed!!

Yelp
Excellent customer service, talented teppanyaki chefs, and delicious food!!! Highly recommend for large groups! Ethan and his staff were very communicative and accommodating for our group of 80 people. He planned a special menu that was amazing and exceeded our expectations. The chefs were funny, entertaining, and went the extra mile to involve everyone. They cooked the most delicious fried rice just like mom cooks it, the meat was tender, and the vegetables were a perfect combination of colors and texture. Best teppanyaki in town!

Yelp
We had a reservation we called them way before our dinner. And they made us wait for 40 minutes after our reservation like walk-ins. So why do we have to make reservation if we cannot sit down?? Poor management.

Yelp
Great service! Good food. They have a Samurai sword for display purposes that should be flipped over (blade edge up).
