Namia River Retreat - Wellness Inclusive Resort Hoi An

You would never guess this serene and beautiful resort was there from the high street. You're made to feel very special as you have your own host (ours was Tran and she was fantastic, always quick to reply). You can WhatsApp them directly and she booked our activities (including travel buggies around the resort). The activities on offer are great and free: the yoga teacher, Ellie, (and all the staff, actually) spoke great english. This was especially helpful in a yoga class! The sunset cruise led by Zian (not sure I've spelt that correctly) was stunning. The breakfast offer was fantastic, with excellent quality, organic produce, a variety of fresh juices and so many teas and coffee on offer. ||The housekeeping staff turn down your bed at night and leave you some tea to help you sleep, which is a lovely special touch, I think.||The spa was spectacular. You receive an exfoliation/wrap in your own personal hamman room! I also had a 60 min Vietnamese massage, which was fantastic. ||My experience was incredible because I was made to feel so special for my birthday. All the staff wished me happy birthday and the fact they knew who I was and that it was my birthday was that extra special mile this resort goes to. The staff above but also everyone who works at the resort are friendly, kind and extremely helpful. ||I cannot rate this place enough. It really is a beautiful place full of the best people working there. I would highly recommend this place as a treat to yourself.

We had an amazing 5-night stay at Namia River Retreat and loved every moment. From the start, our host Quynh was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always prompt with our requests — her warm hospitality really stood out. The resort itself is superb. We looked forward to the daily spa treatments every day — the therapists were wonderful. The only part that wasn’t quite for me was the herbal poultice, which felt a bit too rough. One of the sweetest touches: every night we returned to our room to find a little surprise gift with a handwritten card on the bed. Such a thoughtful gesture! We also enjoyed the yoga session with Jasmine, who was patient, gentle, and attentive in helping us adjust our posture. And a special shout-out to Long, who taught us Vietnamese Taichi — we actually learned the full 9-step flow in just one hour! Such a unique and memorable experience. Beautiful resort, wonderful people, and exceptional service. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and truly grateful. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Namia River Retreat in Vietnam and it was genuinely one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had – and I’ve travelled a lot. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was exceptional. The food was absolutely incredible, the best I’ve had anywhere, and everything was so thoughtfully prepared. We were assigned a host, Viet, who looked after us throughout our entire stay and made the experience seamless. The gym was amazing, the yoga classes were beautiful, and every activity they offered was so well organised and enjoyable. The spa was exceptional – easily the best treatments I’ve ever had. This retreat is perfect for couples, friends, or families. They even have a child-friendly space/kids’ room, which is so helpful for anyone travelling with little ones. The location is stunning and peaceful, and the whole stay was faultless. I couldn’t recommend Namia River Retreat more highly and I cannot wait to come back!

Namia is amazing in every way! The resort itself it beautiful and river front. It’s close to the old town but super peaceful on the grounds. The room is spacious and we had our own plunge pool which was heated and lovely along the river. The food was all delicious we had several meals there and everything was phenomenal. The staff are all so friendly, helpful and nice. Quynh was our favorite. She went above and beyond to make our stay special. She was super responsive whenever we asked for something and was so kind. The spa is super amazing. We did 4 treatments and they were all fantastic. Would definitely come back to Namia and would highly recommend!!

This is a top quality resort, where the staff go the extra mile to help and make your stay the best possible experience. Everyone spoke an excellent level of english and were always willing and able to help. Tran, our host was always quick to respond. Zian, our sunset cruise lead was super friendly and kind and the yoga teacher, Ellie, was supportive and gave excellent advice. Everyone else there was also top quality. Food was organic and delicious, pool was big and with a lovely view of the river, spa was spectacular. I highly recommend this place to anyone, it truly is a magical.

Can’t wait to come back and stay at Namia again! Our time here far exceeded our expectations, I don’t even know where to start. The resort feels like an oasis far away from everything, yet so much is on your doorstep - it’s very conveniently located. The villas are amazing - very spacious, luxurious and the beds are super comfy. All the staff we encountered were so friendly, attentive and responsive, especially our host Quynh and yoga instructor Ellie. We felt very spoilt and taken care of here. Such a treat to start and end our day with yoga and have so many activities included in our stay too - we wish we had time to do more! Especially grateful for the daily wellness journey - Lumia Spa is amazing, so good for both body and mind. Big thank you to everyone that made our time at Namia so memorable!

We had a wonderful time at this relatively new, beautifully maintained resort just outside Hoi An. The staff were solicitous and helpful from the start. The food was outstanding. And the daily massage was a real highlight. |The room was generous in size and very comfortable with both shower and bath.|We had our own private Infinity pool on a deck outside our living room where we marveled at the spectacular view and the peaceful surroundings.|Namia is a very special place. It is hard to imagine a more relaxing setting to enjoy the beauties of Mother Nature.

I can’t say enough good things about Namia River Resort. From the moment I arrived, Quynh, my incredible host, made everything effortless. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful, and set the tone for what became one of the best resort experiences I’ve ever had.||Let’s talk about the spa, because it is on another level. I’ve been to luxury spas all over the world, and this is hands down my favorite. The heated marble tables for the scrub-down treatments are unreal, the kind of detail you don’t forget. The sauna overlooking the river feels like something out of a dream. And every treatment ends with the most beautiful teas that make you feel taken care of from the inside out.||The resort itself is quiet, peaceful, and absolutely stunning, yet still super accessible to Old Town, just a quick, easy ride away (you can even take the sunset boat they provide). Everyone I met was genuinely friendly, and the entire place has a relaxing, thoughtful energy.||I usually hate all-inclusive resorts, they often feel cheesy or low quality, but this is a true exception. Everything feels elevated, intentional, and so beautifully done.||If you’re thinking about staying here, do it. I’m already planning my return.
