Nice waterfall. We’ve done the road from Mae Hong Son, it was exhausting, too steep. You have to be an experienced and careful driver.

The journey to this waterfall is quite long. The road from the other side has a lot of landslides (we came from Mae Hong Son) but the view's definitely worth it. And the view from the top of the waterfall is amazing. 200baht fee for foreigners

Absolutely amazing waterfall and surrounding 😍 it's a hell of a ride to get there but it is 100% worth it. The rode to the waterfall is already stunning with amazing views and beautiful streets which are in good condition:) And the waterfall is amazing, huge and absolutely beautiful Entry fee for foreigners is 200thb

We paid 400 baht and didn't even see the waterfall! There was no clear direction about where to park or where to view the waterfall. Instead, we saw a campground and were yelled at by staff to go backward along the 1-way road. When we tried to circle back to headquarters, the gate was lowered (10:00 in the morning) and no one was allowed entry. A shame!

Don't walk all the way to the lowest level, the view isn't as good as higher up. For a better picture I would recommend going after lunch when the Sun isn't facing you.

The waterfall is spectacular but you get quite a limited view on it from a few viewing platforms, as it's not possible to hike down as a regular tourist. There seem to be quite limited things to do in the national park as well. During off season, food and coffee options nearby are also closed due to a shortage of visitors, you'd have to drive pretty far to find something to eat, maybe even to the nearest big town, Khun Yuam. It's worth a visit if you're in the area though.
