I stumbled across this place as it was highly recommended. ||The rooms were spacious. But it is an aging facility. So expect shower with no pressure (we ended up using a bucket to actually have a proper wash).||Breakfast as basic, just toast. ||The resident vegetarian dog was a very sweet thing and greeted us warmly each time. ||Location was average. It was tucked away down an alley. No much in tHe immediate vicinity. Being a Muslim neighbourhood, I got stares walking up and down the street. Luckily I was not on my own. But if I was traveling solo, it would have been but unnerving.

I lived for a long time there. The landlady has been very nice to me and offered to share a meal several times. The rooms are wonderfully decorated, and the place is very beautiful. The rooftop is far from something luxury but I loved the view of the real urban Jaipur (clothes hanging, children playing kites, and buildings half constructed...). My room was quite big, I had a cupboard and shower, and AC and fan. I had access to a kind of kitchen but not filtered water, so it was up to the landlady to fill bottles. I regret that I had to bother her everytime, going down and up everyday to get water. Also, the water was not always warm when I turned on the the device, but it was so hot these days that I did not mind so much. Besides there has been electricity cuts and sometimes the person switch off the wifi ... But I think it is worth trying if you want to experiment a night in a real traditional prestigious Indian house.

The hotel was for sure a nice place in the past, but loooong time ago. Now is dirty, very aged and with obsoleted, malfunctioning amenities, the lady there "offers" to the guests only a fake breakfast, but in a pompous saloon, consisting of plain toasts, tea and a disgusting and dirty home-made jam. If you want some eggs then you have to wait until the shops are open, the daughter then goes to buy the eggs: only for you! It can take more than one hour. In the meantime you can fulfill your stomach with plain toasts and tea. The neighbour is a dirty slum area, in front of the hotel entrance there is a permanent trash discharge with lot of crows and rats on top. Forget paying with card. Only cash and, of course, no bill: why do they have to pay taxes? The feeling is that they live on one-time guests only, attracted with misleading pictures and then to get the money and forget them for ever. The two stars are only to respect the heritage beauty in there, now abandoned to the present, callous "management".

Stayed here for 2 nights and had the whole place to ourselves. Owner Mrs Singh and her daughter were very welcoming. No restaurant on site other than for breakfast but provided pears and boiled potatoes for our baby when we arrived in the evening. Place is full of character and beautiful antiques. Not much in immediate vicinity but just a 5 min (and 10 rupee) tuk tuk ride from the old city and some great bazaar shopping.

This place was ok. Big spacious rooms but very cold at night time. Very poor showers - hot water but you had to dance to hit the droplets. Not in a great area, but the host is a lovely lady. It could be awesome , it just needs some TLC. I think you can get better value for money else where.

The Nana Ki Haveli is a gem of a hotel. Beautiful balcony surrounds the courtyard, rooms are spacious and clean. The lady of the house is a warm, kind soul, and her pet dog is very sweet. |Definitely a good find for the weary traveler!

Nana Ki Haveli is absolutely gorgeous. A house undoubtedly filled as many stories and rich history as the art and decorative pieces that fill the rooms and hallways. Unfortunately these stories remain largely untold as there is a weariness that has settled over the secrets hidden within these walls. A breath of fresh air (hot showers, broader breakfast menu, history) could really bring this Haveli back to life and return it to what would have once been a vibrant and luxurious home.

In our trip to Rajasthan we stayed in many havelis, this one was the most expensive and the worst we’ve been.|Rooms need urgently maintenance: bad matress, old and dirty sheets, no water pressure in the shower.|This haveli is recommended in the Lonely Planet guide but i completely disagree with their opinion.|Even if it’s near the old city (15 min walk) the hotel is located in a bad neighborhood, special at night time and i wouldn’t recommend it for female solo travellers. Also there are no cafe, restaurant or any decent place to have lunch or dinner nearby.|The host is very nice lady but the place doesn’t worth the money.
