Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. We ordered mocktails and we were very happy with both of our drinks. The cauliflower had good flavour. The sisig was definitely a favourite - very lovely pairing with the fresh lettuce pieces on the side. Wasn’t too sure on the roast chicken - while the flavours were good, it wasn’t as tender as we’d like and didn’t have a crispy coating like your typical roast chicken. Halo halo was amazing- great medley of Asian dessert flavours. Staff were very friendly and the decor was lovely.

Loved how tender the pork belly & beef cheek was. Tacos were also on point, melted in our mouths. Appreciate the awesome service too. So kind and took the time to answer our questions on what the dishes were. Worth the drive from south auckland.

Fantastic place, loved the food and the friendly warm service. The roast pork belly 'lechon' and the waygu steak were our favourites, as well as the dumplings. Really good portion sizes too, you could almost have 2 mains across 3 people.

We have been wanting to try Nanam for a while, and I’m so glad we made the drive from West to Takapuna. Worth it! 👍 From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Everyone in the restaurant made us feel welcome. The ambiance leaned to a slightly fine-dining vibe with Filipino design touches here and there.. very comfortable and relaxed 😊 The food was fantastic 👩‍🍳 I’ve been craving calamansi juice for a while now (which i’ve taken for granted back in the Philippines because calamansi was just everywhere!) and their version hit the spot - so refreshing, and the right balance of sweet, tart/tangy. We started with the Wagyu Tacos. Personally would’ve loved the more garlicky and less sweet longganisa version.. but nevertheless, it was so perfectly cooked and tasty, plus the sauce that came with it was also spot on. We also had the Roasted crispy Pork Belly - crispy skin, juicy meat, and a really tasty apple sarsa. I couldn’t quite pick up the truffle oil that was mentioned on the menu though, but still overall it was delicious. We were slightly still hungry after all that and everything just tasted so good, so we decided to order one more - the Beef Cheek caldereta.. and just wow 🤩 The meat was incredibly tender and the dish was so rich and full of flavour. Again, super glad we got the chance to dine here! It really brought a taste of home in such a thoughtful, elevated way. Will definitely be back and highly recommend! 😋

I have been curious about Nanam's menu as I have seen several social media posts about the food. The place's decor is very Filipino. You are also warmly welcomed as you come in. Our server Jel is very attentive. We booked for a high tea menu. The food was both savory and sweet. There was unlimited Jasmine and Pandan tea. The choux pastry and slider buns can be better improved.I loved the panna cotta. I suggest you order calamansi tea. Very good. I also make it a habit to look at the toilets when visiting restaurants. The cubicle I was in did not have a toilet seat. I think the management need to do something about it. Overall it was a good experience. They have cultural presentation and they serenade you as well which add to the Filipino atmosphere.

We recently visited this vibrant establishment, and it was an amazing experience! The food was outstanding, and our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us with her excellent recommendations. We weren't there for Valentine's Day (we're not that romantic), but we still had an unforgettable time trying Filipino cuisine for the first time. Great food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere! 🌟🍽️❤️

Beautiful restaurant & food taste great We had a booking at 11 amfor Filipino high tea. My friend walked in to the restaurant at 10:57 am - windows open, lights on,& main door wide open. We got told to leave & wait outside BECAUSE it’s not 11 am yet! It was so embarassing. Ok- so if your door open at 11am—- do not open your main door or just put a sign there! We then got approached to be seated to our table at 11 am. Remember : our booking is for high tea 11 am. We waited till 11:42 am for the first part of the high tea to arrive At this stage we were so hungry & worry about our parking ( yes- we paid for parking nearby the restaurant on a Saturday) During the time we were at our table - service were fairly good. The savories food were good - lamb& pork were delicious. Slider buns were dry. Choux a bit too hard, Berries& soy panacotta is the star. Overall , an average experience that could have been a great one if only we turn up late so we don’t have to be kicked out & wait for 42 minutes for our prebooked high tea food. I would have walked away & never to return when we got told to wait outside when we arrived but I stayed because of my friend who made the booking.

TLDR: this place serves delicious meals for the right price, and we would love to come back again. We came here on 5th March at 5.30 pm for our 1 year anniversary. It was still quiet, and we were greeted by the staff who showed our table. It's our first time here, and the atmosphere of this place is spot on 👌 We ordered virgin pina colada, wagyu taco, something croquettes(I forgot the name), and pork and octopus sisig as our main. Not gonna lie, I'm not the one who over exaggerates when it comes to food, but every dish we had was very delicious and quite unique. I highly recommend wagyu Taco since that was one of my favourites. The sisig was also delicious and it goes well with their rice so dont forget to order rice. I probably should have ordered 2 bowls of rice instead of 1. After our meal we were happy to get up and go but the staff told us to sit down for a bit because they had a special treat for our anniversary!! Now that was unexpected and it's really generous of them for doing such thing. The dessert was AMAZING too. Even my partner who doesn't really eat sweets, she loved it too. I actually had no idea they had dessert menu, so don't forget to ask the staff for dessert menu 😉 Now the price, it is slightly on the high end if you compare it with other filipino restaurants. But the thing is, this isn't like any other filipino restaurant. It has its own unique fusion twist and that is something you won't find anywhere else. Keep up the good work team!
