In downtown Wickenberg is a great little sandwich shop called Nana's. They sell coffee, smooties, quiche, sandwiches, and wraps. I had the chicken scratch that was a walnut chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with pasta salad. It was great! We had homemade scones for dessert. They were big and soft, but not real flavorful, so it was a little disappointing, but maybe it was a bad batch. Besides, we didn't come here for a dessert. I recommend lunch here. It's great!

We stopped in for lunch at nana’s. My husband ordered a bowl of chili, which came with a roll. I ordered the hotshot 19, which is a grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta. There were only a couple patrons in the restaurant, but service was extra slow. They had a water dispenser and we helped ourselves to cups of water, but it was room temperature 🙁 I could hardly drink it. Our lunch came and my husband loved his chili, though he would have preferred some cornbread over a dinner roll. My sandwich was really delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the provolone, tomato, spinach, and pesto all came together with a great flavor! I loved the softness of the bread. (It came with avacado as well, but I chose to get that on the side) However, my French fries were limp. They have the potato skins on them which I love, but they were not cooked enough and most of them were limp. I would definitely order this sandwich again, but maybe get a different side. Cute place!

I love Wickenburg and all the food choices it has. Nana's is a wonderful little sandwich shop and bakery. The food is very fresh and the sandwiches are well crafted. This place is going to become our new regular when in town.

Google
We always stop here on our way south. Their sandwiches are delicious! Full of meat! The rye bread is so soft and tasty. They also have delicious loads of bread. I highly recommend a stop here

Sadly, this was a disappointing experience. We're in town just the morning and came here for breakfast. The staff were not very welcoming, the food was below average and we will not be back. The biscuits were ok but the gravy was bland. The hasbrowns were from a bag and undercooked. The omlette was flat and unimpressive. I love giving good reviews and don't like giving negative ones. Maybe this is a good place for lunch but not for breakfast.

Google
What a cute sandwich shop in downtown Wickenburg. I had a half sandwich, cup of chili, and a pe pocket for less than $20. The chili was flavorful and the sandwich was veey generoysly sized! I'm saving ny blueberry pocket for later! Check our Nanas ! Very easy to get to and park. Much better than the fast food places!

We stopped by this town for charging EV car ( there’s supercharger). We just grab some sandwiches, everything were so good and I ate left over next morning, it was still good not soggy. Best sandwich!

Google
Stopped at Nana's on our way thru town. This place is walking distance from the Tesla superchargers for anyone looking for a great bite while waiting. Everything was delicious!

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in Wickenburg. It is family owned and operated. If you are looking for a great and quiet place to have breakfast or lunch this is the place to go. Service is A+ and all their pastries are fresh and excellent. When you travel through or live here this is the place to go

Yelp
Not sure what happened to this restaurant, it used to be real good. Ordered two sandwiches today for lunch on takeout. When we got home found one sandwich was completely wrong. Tried to stomach it down but very dry and little taste. Very underwhelmed!

Yelp
Dad and I had a delicious Ruben Sandwich here today. I believe they call it the Mustang. Greatly enjoyed the food and great, friendly service!
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
When I see a small shop with a long menu, I worry. No need here. The food was fresh and terrific. The four of us had four dishes. Each were ample and VERY well prepared. I had the Mustang - basically a Reuben. I loved it. The fries (extra) were fresh cut. So. To make a long story short, each of us loved our sandwich and side. So good. Eat here. EAT HERE!

Yelp
We enjoyed a pastrami and Swiss sandwich with sauerkraut, chips and soda. Not to crazy right? But it was fresh, served quickly and hot. It's a cute boutique with what appears to be some local handmade items as well. Nice people good fresh food and nana vibes.

Yelp
It was ok. I mean the sandwiches weren't bad but for the price I could make a better one at home. Teeny tiny bit of potato salad that was good and not much else to offer.

Yelp
This is a great place to stop if you're on your way to Las Vegas from Phoenix, but only if you're traveling before 2PM. We had a couple of sandwiches, roast beef for my husband and tuna salad for me; we both had potato salad on the side. Everything was fresh and tasty and the atmosphere was comfortable & cozy. We sat on the outdoor patio and it was lovely. Service was prompt and friendly.

Yelp
Ate there twice. Good food. Ample servings. Friendly and efficient service. The menu has something for everyone.

Yelp
First and only positive- the woman taking our order was very nice. Disappointed! The menu looked so good, but unfortunately when the food came we were let down. I had the club sandwich on sourdough and the bread was thick and not toasted. I had to add extra dressing and it was still too dry. It was also supposed to come with avocado and when I opened it to add dressing all I saw was a VERY tiny amount on one half of the sandwich. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich and it looked amazing. His first bite was a big let down. The chicken was very dry/tough. Also, the bathroom looked clean, but several things need to be addressed in there. I don't know if the paper towel dispenser was broken, but the roll of towels was sitting on top of the garbage can and the can was dirty.

Yelp
Haven't been to Nana's in a few years. The breakfast quality is very poor now, and the chairs and tables and decor need serious updating to compete with other local restaurants (some of which have recently opened or upped their game). If you want a cappuccino, hold out for Starbucks. There is no choice at Nana's anymore as coffee drinks appear to be machine made with poor quality ingredients. Very disappointing! It used to be so much better. It's off my list.

Riss S.

Yelp
Fresh tasty sandwiches... finally found a place my sister in law wont complain about well done. Wish they had chili

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick bite from Scottsdale to Vegas. Very impressed with the quality and menu selection. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and hubs had a hot pastrami on rye with horseradish. We both were impressed! Would stop again next time we are in Wickenburg.

Yelp
We decided to stop in Wickenburg and charge our car on the way back home from Phoenix. Nana's Sandwich Shop looked like a delightful place to enjoy a nice leisurely lunch. The table service here is minimal. You order at the counter are handed a number that you put on your table and then the food is delivered to you. My wife ordered the Pig Pen sandwich which she said was extraordinary. She liked it very much. It came with potato salad that was not made with mustard which she also said was excellent. I had a bite and I would agree. I ordered the special which was the spicy western cheeseburger with jalapeños. It came with barbecue sauce, which I didn't want. I asked them to substitute mustard for barbecue sauce and that was all. But when my burger came out the server realized it had barbecue sauce on it and took it back to the kitchen before he even set it on the table. That was the best move. They remade the burger because the barbecue sauce was on top of the meat and cheese. That was also the right move. However, they did not remake the fries that came with it. So when my lunch was delivered the burger was hot and the fries were room temperature at best. They brought me some mustard packets and a mayo packet and I got to dress my own burger at the table. They also forgot the jalapeños. So I asked about that and the server brought me one whole jalapeño and a knife. So then I got to cut up the jalapeño and put it on the burger myself. Not quite the service I was looking for. We also ordered a pair of chocolate chip cookies that were delicious. Overall, my wife very much enjoyed her experience, but mine left a lot to be desired. I would give this place a solid three stars; more if they had made my entire meal properly.

Yelp
Conveniently located in the center of the Wickenburg town. Cute shop with lots of potential. Nobody working behind the counter was wearing a mask and none of the customers were wearing masks. Maybe there's no cases in their town but lots of people stopping from other states with higher cases. Just thought I would note that to those with underlying conditions. Ordered a latte with almond milk but was told they were out of almond milk. They did offer soy, whole or skim milk. The coffee came in a styrofoam cup. It was "meh" Kinda tasted burnt. It was $5. Workers were not very friendly. The door was locked when I tried to leave. It was probably 1:30 pm. Would recommend calling before going to see if it is open. Probably will try another place next time. Hopefully it was just an "off" day. Giving it a 3 because it was really cute. Probably would give the coffee 2 stars.

Yelp
Been in Wickenburg for 8 years and I Always love nana's for their Yardbird sandwich and pies

Kathy C.

Yelp
I ordered the grilled cheese and it was made with velveeta cheese. Grilled cheese is an inexpensive item and it should at least have real cheese. The potato salad had too much onion and was fair at best. Not going to patronize Nanas again anytime soon.

Yelp
A friend and I were out for a drive and stopped in at the Western Museum in Wittenburg. After an hour-plus there, it was early afternoon and we were both hungry , so decided on lunch at nearby Nana's. Nice place, friendly staff, and a variety of good items on the menu--sandwiches, soup, quiche, etc. I had the BUCKEROO (ham, turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato) on marble rye (very fresh bread!) and my friend had the tuna melt. Good-tasting potato salad was included as a side. Even on a cool day, the sheltered back patio was a pleasant place to sit.

Yelp
Quiche was amazing! My daughter loved her Tumbleweed smoothie. Will definitely be back! Love that it's family-owned!
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Probably the best corned beef sandwich on marble rye bread I have ever had!! We also enjoyed the roast beef with horseradish but would have liked a stronger influence of horseradish. Friendly staff
google avatar

JD S.

Yelp
Hope you guys are going to be making some blueberry lemon bread. Get those chairs arranged out front. Do you best!
google avatar

Gloria H.

Yelp
Not near as good as it was before ownership change. Sandwiches were ok, but we probably won't return. Service was good

Jasmine G.

Yelp
Great stop off the highway. Great sandwiches, friendly people, and good prices. We were happy with everything we ordered and if in the area we will be back.

Yelp
came into town with my dad for golf and we wanted to eat lunch before hand, after driving all over town trying to find a place that was actually open we landed here. Was ok, great service with ok food
google avatar

Ashley W.

Yelp
Delicious sandwich, chill vibe and friendly staff! I got the Yard Bird with pasta salad and a cold brew. Prices have gone up everywhere but this was a perfect stop and worth my time after a day of hiking. Recommend this if you're passing through!

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday for early lunch. Tasty green chili quiche for me. Breakfast for my spouse. Just right. Had our pup with us on the porch out back. It smelled like chocolate. Sweet server.
google avatar

Chris F.

Yelp
Yes, cute little place, and the owners are friendly and nice. BUT Only once was I asked if I wanted more coffee and never any other effort to see how I was doing. Anywhere else in town you will get toast with your breakfast but if you order the omelette here you don't get toast because you get hash browns. WTF! I paid an extra $1.25 for toast and only one slice cut in half was on the plate. And only half of that had any butter. Oh, and you pick up your own dishes when finished eating. I have eaten here quite a few times in the past but now I'll just stay with Spurs or one of the other little restaurants in town. I see a number of other unfavorable reviews also. Maybe the owners really don't care!

Yelp
Nice little place to grab a bite. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with chiles, which came with a side of potato salad. The sandwich was very good, a creative take on a grilled cheese with just the right amount of spiciness. Potato salad was fine, it's potato salad. This place is only open during breakfast and lunch hours. Lines can be long depending on the time of day. Overall a good small local business, definitely beats Subway.

Lisa A.

Yelp
The Western sandwich was fantastic. Split pea soup had no flavor and was watery. Hotshot 19 was flavorless, couldn't find or taste the pesto and just plain blah. Service was fair. Won't go back.

Monique L.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SO GROSS I COULD HAVE MADE THIS AT HOME.... BETTER service sucked they were NOT helpful. Too bad local pressed was closed it forced us here. Save your money and time. One star because i have to in order to post. Little girl was sweet though.

Yelp
Love this spot. Tasty Sammitches. Prices are perfect. Great staff. Baked items are so tasty. The best

Yelp
I got the build your own omelet and a coffee for about $10, before tip. The omelet came with three eggs, cheese, and hash browns, I added onions, spinach, and mushrooms for 25 cents each. The food was great, the coffee was hot, the service was kind and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting and the air conditioner is kept on a reasonable temperature. I'd definitely recommend stopping here for breakfast or lunch. Right now they're open until 2:00 pm.

Frankie W.

Yelp
Did a spontaneous day trip to Sedona and along the way my bf and I were very hungry. Our first stop into town and this restaurant didn't pull through with our order. So, we decided to eat elsewhere and we found this shop and decided to stop. Service was ultra fast! Our sandwiches were amazing! I got the BLT very delicious. I recommend giving This shop your attention and give it a try! Thank you again!

Jocelyn R.

Yelp
Perfect place to stop for breakfast or lunch if driving through town. Clean, quiet, and friendly service.

Yelp
Cute little place in wickenburg. Kid friendly, patio for cooler days. Great ac. Nice big portions. Very comfortable. Various seating, tables, couches...

Brett C.

Yelp
Nice little sandwich shop and the marble rye was awesome. All of sandwiches were really good, however the orders were wrong. 3 out of 10 of us got the wrong the sandwiches. There seems to be some confusion about what a tuna melt is. If you order a tuna melt, they give you a tuna salad sandwich. The tuna sandwich was great but not the tuna melt that we ordered. There was another customer saying they ordered a tuna melt but got a tuna salad, and the restaurant staff simply said this is the way we do it. Good sandwiches and side salads, just got to work on their definition of a tuna melt.

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch today! After lots of fun shopping and browsing in the many shops we enjoyed our mealThe Veggie sandwich was awesome. We will absolutely return on our next trip
google avatar

Carol S.

Yelp
Pros: great location in historic downtown Wickenburg, charming inside eating area with lots of room and southwest ambiance. Cons: the Cowboy sandwich bread was very dry and the banana cream pie looked fantastic but tasted very bland. The verdict: Will have to return for a second visit.
google avatar

Janie W.

Yelp
We have eaten here several times. Worst clam chowder ever - two bites and pushed bowl away. My Caesar Chicken Salad had the worst sour dressing. Roast beef sandwich was a total joke - hardly any meat, just blah. I usually order the quiche which is better than any other dish we have tried. We only go there when meeting others definitely not our choice of places.
google avatar

Nick F.

Yelp
Says it closes at 3pm. We drove there and got there at 1:40pm. Guy said they closed early because it was slow...yet we're standing outside as paying customer wanting 4 ice creams. Idiotic to say the least. Should be a zero star. Change your damn timing

Linda S.

Yelp
Chicken ScratchSandwich chicken walnut salad did not have any walnuts in, I asked for extra mayo was maybe a quarter of a teaspoon on the entire sandwich. Brown lettuce. The ice tea came out of a machine that must not of been very clean and tasted very old, can't drink.
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
A big letdown. Read reviews that this place was good, but our experience was not. We had the bacon grilled cheese and a bowl of vegetable beef soup. Both were below average. One piece of bacon on the grilled cheese is just kinda pathetic. Plus, they put cold tomatoes on the hot sandwich. So we basically got a grilled sandwich with cold cheese and wilted tomatoes...and one piece of bacon. Sad. The soup was more like broth. Very few vegetables and even less beef. $7.95 for beef broth is a tad excessive. On the positive side, the interior is welcoming and spacious. Lots of fun art for sale. Unfortunately, it's the food that will keep us from returning. There are much, much better choices for lunch in Wickenburg...The Local Press or Chaparral Homemade Ice Cream are two that come to mind.
google avatar

Ivan B.

Yelp
I got a Banana cream pie and a Cookie & Cream shake. The pie was great but I would stay away from the shakes. Overall this place is good to stop and grab a bite
google avatar

Yelp
Fresh made Sandwich's, Decent choice selection, Great deserts for after or just desert treats. indoor and outdoor seating. Nice Place.

Yelp
Ate the Coconut Cream Pie. The homemade very thick whip cream with toasted coconut was an OMG experience. The lightly sweetened (tasted that way) coconut filling was rich delicious tasting with plenty of coconut. The crust was very light and hardly noticeable. It was clearly one of the best pie's I've tasted, outside of Pioneer restaurant in Pie Town, New Mexico. My original idea was to eat half...that thought flew out the window after the 1st. bite. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

Yelp
The food here at Nana's is like moms cooking. Very reasonable prices. You must stop by when in Wickenburg. Friendly atmosphere and great service.
google avatar

Heather P.

Yelp
Customer service. Not so much. The kid that took my order messed it up and didn't offer to make it right. I tried to drink it but had to take up to the counter. I asked if I could trade it for just a black coffee he said ya with attitude didn't ask if he could make it right. Another worker asked what happened she didn't ask me to remake it. Then when we left he and another employee watched us drrive off and me mouthed the b word. So much food shopping local. I'll take my business to Starbucks
google avatar

Yelp
Nanas Was my favorite Sandwhich shop . Last week got Breakfast Sandwhich. Croisant hard. Scones not good. Chicken Sandwhich not close To Nanas. No Mayo. Walnuts not visiable. New owners. Come back old owners. my last time.

Omf L.

Yelp
Excellent find. Coffee good, soup in the iron skillet was delicious and huge. The potato buns that come with the soup are excellent. We ordered extras. The fruit berry pie is delicious. A definite must stop by this family run friendly restaurant. The sell fresh homemade baked bread and all kinds of sweet goodies and desserts I should go early if you want to get the best picks of the sweet trays.

Yelp
Excellent place to eat breakfast. We enjoy dining in local mom & pop businesses and their food was out of this world! They make their own bread. Great service, delicious tasty food. The coffee and orange juice was good. The have homemade bread, pies and other treats. The environment is unique and the have many unique items for sale. This is a must stop if you're from out of town. I'm so glad my husband found this place.
