Good day, everyone! This is a family-style restaurant located in Budapest's 2nd district. In the summer, their courtyard is always open, where you can enjoy your food and drinks in the shade of the trees.
The food is delicious, authentic Hungarian cuisine. The portions are generous but not excessive.
The service is quick, and the cooking and grilling are done to a good standard.
Prices are slightly above average. In the winter, seating can be limited, as they primarily use the main dining hall.
A few things to keep in mind:
There is virtually no parking (space for 3-4 cars at most). Parking on the grass or further down the street will result in a fine. The police come by almost every hour and are quick to issue tickets.
When ordering, it's better to ask for the chef's or the waiters' recommendations. Trust me, it's a better option than guessing from the menu.
The place has the simple, rustic cleanliness of a country house gazebo. Don't expect a spotless, gleaming environment.
Come with a good mood! The waitstaff are always helpful and will happily play along with a joke. Good luck and enjoy your meal! RAMIL01
