Nando's Tacos

Had barbacoa, potatoe and egg and chorizo tacos. Tacos were good size and tasted even better. Menudo was great. Spice level was good. Some may think it's a little on the spicy side. Fresh lemonade and great coffee. Some of the best salsas I've had. Definitely give it a try and we will be back. Second visit was just as good as the first.

Hidden Gem Alert! I just had two tacos here, one fajita and one barbacoa, and wow! Both were packed with flavor, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The barbacoa was tender and rich, and the fajita had that smoky, grilled taste you only get from a place that really knows what it’s doing. It might be a tiny little spot, but don’t let the size fool you, this place delivers big on taste and quality. Friendly service, great prices, and authentic flavor all the way. The staff at Nando’s Tacos was kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The service was great, and the place had a nice vibe. Unfortunately, the food was a bit hit or miss for me. I didn’t really care for my beans or my huevo con papa plate. We also ordered barbacoa but were given fajita meat instead. The flavors were okay, but overall it just didn’t quite meet my expectations. Still, I’d be open to giving them another try. Maybe it was just an off day.

We ordered the chicken and beef mixed grill fajitas to go for our family, and it was more than enough food for three of us—with leftovers! The portions were generous and priced extremely well. At most Tex-Mex restaurants, a similar order would easily be over $75, but this was a great value for the quality and quantity. The handmade corn tortillas were a standout—perfect size to hold all the toppings without falling apart. The authentic skirt steak was thick-cut and packed with incredible flavor. The chicken was just as delicious. The rice and charro beans were full of flavor, and we loved the variety of homemade salsas. The lettuce was thinly sliced to perfection, the portions were just right, and the queso fresco on top really finished everything off beautifully. A special thank you to Leo, the manager, who really took care of us. He was patient while taking our order and made sure we had napkins and utensils for our to-go meal. The friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend Nando's Tacos — we will definitely be back!

Excellent food and service! They really love what they do and explained to me that it was all homeade. There arent alot of places that go to this level anymore. Highly recommend stopping by!

I just happened by this place on Friday 2/6/26 and decided to grab breakfast. The service was spectacular! It being my first time in, they brought me a sampler of all of their meats. It was off the chains. I ordered a Fajita taco and chorizo taco which was enough to feed two or three and they were fabulous. If you like a local vibe with simple food that is done very well, this is your place.

Nando's Tacos is truly a hidden gem, quaint, homely, and full of heart. We stopped by on a cooler morning and grabbed a table outside, which made the whole experience feel even more cozy and welcoming. Between the family, we tried the barbacoa, chicharron, chicken fajita, and a fajita quesadilla. The fresh homemade tortillas really make a difference in every bite. I'd read reviews mentioning they were huge, but honestly, I didn't find them particularly oversized. Not a complaint at all, just not what I expected going in! My daughter loved her quesadilla and especially the cheese pull, which passed her personal "cheese test" with flying colors. The chicharron in salsa verde was a standout for me, perfectly seasoned, with no need for extra salt or salsa. Personally, I'd ask for the onion to be chopped just a bit smaller but that really is the only "complaint" I have. I also ordered the charro beans based on earlier reviews, and they were every bit as flavorful as promised. I'm already looking forward to trying their fresh-squeezed orange juice on our next visit. The staff was wonderfully welcoming from start to finish, and my husband, who went in with low expectations, was blown away by how delicious everything was. We're both so glad we gave this place a try. If you're looking for comforting, well-seasoned food in a warm, inviting setting, Nando's Tacos is absolutely worth the visit.

Serving tacos in the Humble TX area since 2022, Nando's Tacos (not to be confused with the chicken restaurant) serves up delicious full size tacos. My brother and I stopped in for carryout breakfast tacos on a Sunday morning. Alas, they didn't have brisket breakfast tacos, but had some good alternatives. Their flour tortilla is the choice here, and I believe it is Sonoran style: good enough to just eat by itself. My absolute favorite was the barbacoa ($3.25), very tender stewed beef with added onion and cilantro...not meant to be a breakfast taco I think. The other 3 tacos I tried did have egg. The potato & egg ($3.25) had big chunks of potato and plenty of egg: very filling not particularly tasty. The chorizo and egg ($3.25) was was prepared together, with the small chorizo pieces mixed in with the egg. And the fajita and egg ($4.79) used two slices of skirt steak flavored with fajita flavoring...for my preference, works better in skillet fajitas than in a breakfast taco. They also have menudo on the weekends, and both their corn and flour tortillas are homemade. As mentioned before, the flour tortillas are really good, and the barbacoa is definitely worth a visit.

Me and my SO decided to stop by here on the way home from a trip and saw all the good reviews but left unimpressed. Service is good -- don't get me wrong; the people are hard working and willing to answer any questions I had. Lots of smiling faces! I also like how you can several toppings for no charge (not many places do that). Got several breakfast and lunch tacos. The tacos are big but not much stuffing or flavor. We needed to add some more seasoning which shouldn't be needed for tacos in Houston. The salsas were a nice compliment but I have had better. Also the beef was very dry. Very small restaurant with not much parking. Gives off a very Mexican-homey vibe. Personally not something to write home about but maybe I'll give them another try when I'm in the area again.

10/10 definitely recommend . Quality food that tastes delicious. The layers, the flavors, best I had in awhile! Family run and you can feel the love as the workers mill around working and smiling. It's a smaller menu which I appreciated because it's AMAZING. Be sure to get the charro beans and heck anything they make...put this on your list! Oh and they do catering!!!

Amazing! The service was so friendly and helpful, they explained how their menu works and the best way to order. They made my beef fajita (close to carne asada) burrito exactly as I wanted. They also offered me a plate of 4 samples, carne guisada, chicken fajita, bistec a la Mexicana and barbacoa. They were all delicious and I must admit I've never had barbacoa that I enjoyed but theirs was absolutely phenomenal. All 3 of the hot sauces were homemade and full of flavor. The ambiance is great, I can't recommend Nando's Tacos enough!

First time trying them. They were very friendly and quick.They mentioned their tortillas were a bit big lol but I guess growing up in a Mexican home these are just regular size tortillas.I think I would definitely come back vs the other two around the area. I wish they would add more cebolla y cilantro but nothing that can't be fixed,next time I'll make sure they do. Their charra beans were good. The salsa were Hot.

These breakfast tacos were AMAZING!! Highly recommend a stop here service was also good - gave us free soup to sample. Also amazingly yummy! Must try and worth a quick trip off the highway! Close enough to the airport we went there on the way out of town and will be back!! Ps no food pics because we ate it too fast!

Nando's is located in a small yet clean building. Staff were friendly and professional. Being our first time, they introduced us to their menu. We ordered tacos barbacoba (shredded beef) on corn tortilla and egg, potato, and bacon on flour. The shredded beef had a modern take on an old Mexican classic dish. The corn tortillas was freshly made and the right thickness (for it not to fall apart). The egg, potato, and bacon filling was fresh and had a good taste. My recommendation is to add baking powder (browning agent) to the flour tortillas. Personally, I prefer the texture, taste, and look of a tortilla with baking powder. I will say that the flour tortilla did not have a sweet taste which was a plus. I would encourage foodies to try Nando's for yourselves. Happy eating ya'll

When I arrived here, I was waiting on the rest on my party to arrive and immediately was greeted by extremely friendly service. Claudia offered for us to try their meats while we waited. She went through a quick run through of their menu and the quality of the meats! The atmosphere is so cozy and feels homey. Will definitely be coming back!! Claudia is seriously so amazing! She let us try their beans and the tres leches! The beans were seriously were so so so good! The BEST tres leches I have ever had! I love it here! I could come her every day!!

This is one of those rare places to live up to "authentic" Mexican food. The flavors are what we call it, "casero" in other words, "homemade". The salsa verde was a little more on the lemony side but I still drowned my breakfast tacos and loved it. They do however, have a spicy sauce cooked with the meat.... I hope they can have that as an actual salsa option for those who can handle the spiciness. The fresh squeezed orange juice it's LITERALLY "fresh squeezed orange juice" honestly they should charge more for it. Service was friendly and informative with the menu to guide you in selecting. A very calm and homely atmosphere.

Extremely impressed by the high quality of customer service and food. We were first greeted at the counter and once we shared it was our first time, we were offered a free sampler of several plates. They emphasized the quality of their ingredients and it was obvious once we tasted the food.

First time here and the food was really good. They have really good breakfast. I got the breakfast plate and everything was freshly made and made super fast. Hospitality was really good too. If I'm in the area, I would definitely be back.

Still such a great place! The customer service is top tier. We got the menudo today and it was so yummy and came with all the fixings. It was on the spicy side but it was a good spicy. Love coming here! They have a nice inside and outside seating area.

Amazing food. They use quality meat and it shows. The owner and staff were so nice and you could tell they take pride in their work. The food was all amazing from the barbacoa to caldo de res. The carne asada was tender, flavorful and a favorite. Its a small, clean and not pretentious kind of place. Can't wait to come back to try more!

What an amazing little gem we found with Nando's Tacos. We stopped in for breakfast on our way to Global Imports and were so impressed we swung back by after our shopping trip to get some soup and tamales to go for dinner tonight. The owner was so welcoming and made some stellar recommendations. Two of us got breakfast plates (1 bacon, 1 fajita) and the other two got got tacos (fajita & barbacoa). The fajita meat was super tender and it is the first time we have had non greasy barbacoa and it is so much better the way they make it. We will definitely be back, so worth the drive from Pearland.

I love, love this place first time I visited and it was a young man at the registry and he was so friendly. he told me about all the good things to try on the menu and he also gave me samples of different things. I end up getting a breakfast taco and also a plate. I can't lie this is some of the best and freshest food I have had from a Mexican restaurant. I will definitely be back. Also it was so nice and clean.

We came across Nando's by chance on the way home from Lufkin. We were greeted as soon as we entered the place. Anytime you walk into a smile it elevates the experience. We were happy to see they had a machacado plate as this is one of my wife's favorite dishes. I ordered my goto menudo and chicharon taco we finished with two orders of horchata. When the food arrived it was hot and fresh. The flavors on the menudo were very good. My only critique was that there was a lot more hominy than meat. Over all the flavor could not be matched. This was the same for the chicharon taco. Huge tortilla little bit of meat but flavor was out standing. Lastly my wife's plate was delicious the flavors of the meat and scrambled in jalapeño meat and eggs was perfect. The only thing the plate lacked was it could have used a little more of refried beans. It came with homemade corn tortillas and at the end of the day was also very delicious. The horchata was one of the best I have had and highly recommend it. The ambiance of the restaurant is everything you want from an independent restaurant. Clean and not cluttered with great decor. If we are ever in this area we will definitely stop in and eat again.

I'm from the Valley and am a bit of a Tex-Mex snob. However, I happen to be on that side of town and this place was a great find. The barbacoa taco was delicious and the menudo was "good." Not my Mom's, but a heckuva a good replacement. Love that they put hominy in it as my goto spot for menudo inexplicably does not. If I were to nitpick, maybe could have used some more salt. But that is more a "me" thing. Staff were friendly and place was clean. I definitely recommend this place.

This place is a hidden Gem. The customer service was better than a 5 star restaurant. When you walk in you're greeted with a friendly smile. The menus is explained to 1st time customers. All the food is prepared to order. The tortillas flour and corn are made from scratch. The tacos are huge and delicious. They gave us samples to try. Our family will defiantly be come back.

Great service!! Good people. You can tell that this restaurant appreciates its customers. I was immediately greeted with a smile and thanked for choosing to dine there. I was given a sample before ordering which I found to be genius marketing to ensure I was going to be a satisfied customer before even placing an order. I don't know of a single restaurant that I've ever been to that appreciate it it's customers to even offer that. I chose to sit outside due to the pleasant weather and within my half hour dining experience, refills and my customer experience was priority. The food is delicious and portions are generous. Great menu with a variety of options. Great place for for friends and family and great spot for local dining. Not disappointment here! One more thing...the lemonade is wonderful. Not overly sweet and very refreshing. Five star!

We stopped in fresh off the plane for some tacos. Service was quick and friendly, Nando offered samples to help us make decisions. I had the Carne Guisada, which is like a beef stew, with refried beans in a corn tortilla. Tortillas are handmade and delicious! Would absolutely visit again!

Wow! These tacos are amazing!! I drive all the way from Downtown for them. The Beef Fajita Taco is my fav!! Their corn tortillas are so good. & Horchata was really too. Highly recommend & dont even get me started on the homemade tres leches ( chef's kiss )

Tip top service best I've seen in years! Food was delicious the barbacoa is worth driving for menudo was very good. Tortillas are hand made both flour and corn.

Solid taco place. However, I didn't super care for the tortillas and navigating the menu was a little difficult so when I showed up to the shop, I was greeted by a very nice lady who helped me get the offerings that I liked and when she said the tacos were big she wasn't lying. They are massive. I wish that they would add a couple different offerings for the breakfast menu but what I had with the chorizo and egg was good wasn't great but it was good and the taco size more than made up for it. They serve these base clean hotdog containers huge if you're in the area and they have soup they have breakfast they have fajitas they have a lot of stuff great set up warm friendly environment. Great staff you won't go wrong breakfast or otherwise. Check them out.

If I could give them 10 stars. I would! From the cleanliness, customer service, and quality of food. This is definitely a hidden gem in humble. Upon coming in I was immediately greeted and told about the specials. Not to mention I met Nando himself who told me about the business and how things are prepared with the best qualityand it shows. Talk about TOP Quality Angus Steak, homemade tortillas, the list goes on. And this soup I had was TO DIE FOR (seriously lol)... They close at 3 so you KNOW they're BOMB!

I have tried three lunch plates there and each one has not disappointed! I went here by accident and now I'm hooked! Great people, great place, great food!

What a great local spot! Wish this was in my area. We were passing through this morning and I needed to feed my kids and grabbed some breakfast tacos. The tortillas were homemade, the salsas were fresh, the portions were generous, service was quick and kind, tacos were piping hot and the prices could have easily been higher. It felt like the good old days. If we were closer I would visit weekly.

I love the service, the food is amazing, you won't be disappointed. They have fresh corn tortillas, and the beef fajitas are top notch! You have to try the carne soup and the tres leches.

This place made me feel at home the first time. Wanted a chimichanga chicken, which they couldn't do because it wasn't on the menu. So I ask for a chicken quesadilla which wasn't also on the menu, but they catered to me, Wow. What good way to do business. Always passing this place up, and something told me to stop today. Small restaurant feel, but "like Home and Family". They will continue to win there customers this way. And good is good and reasonable. I will definitely try there breakfast 6:30am in the morning and give another review. Very welcoming, they even come out and talk with you!

Defínete great service and even better tacos. The owner let me sample some of the different meats before I ordered (all of which were full of different types of flavors). Ended up going with the bistec a la mexicana super spicy but definitely would recommend it. The tacos are also good sized tacos and they do fill them so bang for your buck for sure! Super clean with a cool patio area as well

I was so glad we stopped at Nando's! First off the service was really great 5 stars, all the food is delicious and high quality!! The Menudo was really good, they make homemade corn and flour tortillas! The Barbacoa, Nandos beans, carne guisada, and fajita tacos were all full of flavor and delicious!! I've been to this restaurant twice now. We ate in once and picked up once. My mother has been several times before me. So far we've only had tacos -- chorizo & egg, potato & egg, bacon & egg, and beans, chorizo & egg. All have been delicious and the service is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and pleasant and the restaurant is clean and nice.

What an amazing taco place. The food is incredible. Every time I go, I feel like I'm going home. They are so welcoming. You gotta try this place for lunch or a morning taco. I just figured out why they are so good! It's the tortillas! They're handmade here every day! If you've ever been with an abuelita who made her own tortillas, you know what I'm talking about! So this place right here... was fantastic!!! The owner was the nicest man and the lady at the front was the sweetest! They offered us a few items to try as we walked in, and all of them were fabulous! It made it hard for us to make up our minds. All the tortillas were handmade and were thin and delicious! The egg was so fresh (and didn't taste like that over cooked premade egg that you normally get in breakfast tacos). The cheese was good quality cheddar and the barbacoa was delicious and it greasy at all! We will 100% be back!!! I hope they continue to use quality products and cook everything fresh and made to order instead of make ahead, I know that cuts costs, but the consumer can always tell! Well done guys! Keep up the great work!

writing this review a little late as we visited on march 10th but we support local businesses and think nando's deserves some kudos! husband & i stopped in at nando's tacos after trying to go to another nearby taco spot and seeing a line out the door. you walk in and immediately smell the yummy food and see all the options listed on the menu board above the counter. we ordered an assortment of breakfast tacos to try including chorizo & egg, potato & egg, steak & egg, and a lunch taco of carne guisada. i loved the carne guisada taco while my husband didn't care for the stewed potatoes in it, but that is just his preference. all were freshly made and seasoned well. we also tried the breakfast plate with beans, potatoes, and smothered eggs which came with 2 tortillas. we also had a limonada and horchata, both were not too sweet and were very refreshing! yes, the dining area is on the small side but the place was clean and cooled with fans and AC, what is there to complain about there? overall, we're very happy with our little discovery of nando's tacos! we will definitely be back!
