The Pork Katsu Curry Don is a comforting and flavorful dish that combines crispy, golden-brown pork cutlet (katsu) with rich, savory curry sauce, all served over a bed of steamed rice. The contrast between the crunchy exterior of the katsu and the tender, juicy pork inside is perfectly complemented by the thick, aromatic curry, which is slightly sweet and mildly spiced. The dish is hearty, satisfying, and deeply umami, making it a favorite for both locals and visitors. It’s a must-try for anyone exploring it.

A lot of the stores were closed when we were here on a Thursday around lunch time. It's a cute strip inside Tempozan Harbor Village. The prices are also very expensive compared to the food court just next to it but also compared to restaurants outside. Nice to visit but wouldn't recommend eating here unless you enjoy the convenience and novelty of the place.

Don't eat at this place. The roast beef was served cold and old (dried out). The pancake (okonomiyaki) was so floury and hardly any veggies. Not crunchy, too thick. This place inside sells fake Cremia as well.

Lots of variety of Japanese food, there is a Subway & KFC too. We picked a little Japanese restaurant at the very back of the food street. Nice, price is decent, my friend pork rice is under 1000 yen

Various kinds of Japanese food available in this small area. Not much seats available in each shop, but most of them offer take away. You can simply take the food to the nearby park and enjoy your meal. Even if you are not eating here, you should also visit here as the decorations are very cute.

Avoid "Osaka Teppanyaki Abenoya shop" - the first Okonomiyaki shop upon entry (not that the others are good, but I've only tried this store). Okonomiyaki is basically a lot of flour and little fillings They even stinge on the bonito flakes, look at the pathetic sprinkle of flakes This place just feels like a tourist trap and the stalls are just there to make maximum profit. You can easily get better food elsewhere

Just average ramen. Fast food style. Save yourself for a real meal at some restaurant.

This aquarium is amazing. Nice place to visit with children. I like the the way how they built this to see everything by following following a path from entrance to exit. Typical efficient idea from Japan.

Yelp
Monday May 1 59°F 67% Humidity Unexpectedly got caught in the rain! We completed our visit to the aquarium, and then it started pouring afterwards. Some of my travel buddies were unprepared for the wet weather, so we went to the Tempozan Market Place nearby to have dinner and wait until the clouds cleared. The food court is on the second level. You'll find quite a few familiar chains like Wendy's, KFC, Subway, and Baskin Robbins. On the northeast side of the building there is another food court called Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho, which is themed like a neighborhood in 1960s Osaka. Jinbei is one of the stalls here. On the left side of the restaurant (at least I think it's just one restaurant?) they serve roast beef bowls, while the right side sells ramen. There was only one person behind the counter, and they were working the register and preparing the food by themselves. Thankfully it wasn't too busy, with only one patron ahead of me. Seating in the food court is plentiful. All tables had sneeze guards installed. My bowl of ramen was okay. The broth was too salty and the soft boiled eggs were anything but that. Noodles were springy and the texture was decent. Japan 2023 Yelp collection: yelp.com/collection/5VW1mYIyr54rstI8h9NrYQ/JAPAN-2023

Yelp
We came here for the aquarium and grabbed a quick bite at Jinbei Roast Beef Bowl. Wow!! This was very good for mall food! We tried the roast beef bowl and loved the crunchy garlic topping. The roast beef, rice and sauce went together so well for a delicious bite. We also tried the roast beef sushi and it was delightful. Highly recommend if you're in the area. My 1 complaint is that the food court dining area was so hot! It felt like the heat was on. We were sweating!
