Amazing all around! We were sat upstairs & outside in a private 1 table patio which was super nice. Gave us a button so we can call for service if we ever needed it. The service was so good and so fast. And the food was delicious. Such a great experience & refresher compared to our experience at Koi right down the street about an half hour earlier. Thank you Naniwa! I highly recommend! Edit: I just realized this page is Naniwa Noodles, and not the sushi place. I’ll put this review in the other page. Either way, anything Naniwa is great to me now!

Edited with more photos. Probably this is one of the best Asian restaurants in Germany and maybe x-countries. It is so popular that you need to go 15 min before they open, otherwise you would need to wait in the queue for an hour. Almost everything is good and tasty. Yet, our best seller is the tan tan noddle soup. The restaurant is well know for their homemade food and stocks - soups. Here you will enjoy a homemade noodles, without artificial flavours. To keep time efficiency and while you are waiting in the queue, which is outside, the staff gives you the menu card and take your order. Then you need to pay upfront before sitting. I'm not fan of that but I could understand why it is done. The venue is not very fancy, but after tasting the soup, you do not care about the venue. Great place to eat Asian dishes.

During my stay in Düsseldorf, I chose this ramen shop mainly because other restaurants were not open at the time, and this one had good reviews. As someone who often travels to Japan, I must say the ramen here is not exactly authentic. Of course, one cannot expect the same level of authenticity in Germany, but the flavor was still enjoyable. The karaage was decent, though the skin could have been a little more crispy. Flavor-wise, it was fine, and the price was very reasonable. The fried gyoza was average—more like typical deep-fried dumplings, whereas I personally prefer the traditional pan-fried style. Overall, the food quality was above average, especially considering the affordable price. What deserves special mention is the Japanese waitress. Her service was excellent and added a very nice touch to the dining experience.

The food is quite good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and attentive, also speaks English. The weird thing was that you’re supposed to pay upfront, even though it has table service.

The queue for this ramen says it all. Delicious, hot authentic ramen broths and perfectly cooked ramen noodles and eggs. If you’re a fan of ramen, this is the place to go on Dusseldorf. Definitely recommend the tantanmen and stamina ramens with chase. Seating is quite close to other tables but not too much of an issue, there are baskets to place your outdoor coats and bags. The fried gyoza we ordered was also excellent.

If you’re a fan of ramen and similar soups, this noodle and soup restaurant is a must-visit. Their menu is filled with a variety of ramens and Asian-inspired soups that taste kinda authentic and delicious. Each bowl is crafted with care, featuring rich broths. The portions are generous, and the flavors are spot-on, making it the perfect comfort food. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always ready to recommend their favorite dishes. The warm, cozy atmosphere and good service makes it worth the waiting line.

For such a compact and busy place, it was remarkable how quickly the food was served. It feels like efficiency to have guests seated and served with good fresh food was a well placed priority. The look-in kitchen provided that extra feeling of professionalism, pride and confidence. The portions were well priced and the choice of dishes should not leave you disappointed.

There’s always a queue outside, but the food was really good. I find it interesting how they take your order right when you step into the restaurant and then you sit that your table once you have already ordered and paid. Which I think is a good idea to speed up the order and delivery. Food was very tasty. We ordered the TAN TAN noodles, and they were really spicy. 🥵 this coming from someone that likes spicy food a lot so be careful.

Long long lines because it is worth the wait. Ramen bowls are huge and can be shared for two. Ramen was tasty and we mostly ate it. Fried rice was a small portion and for me that was expensive for what you get. The only downside eating indoors is you smell so bad when you get out after eating. So if you don't want the smell on your clothes eat outdoors.

Food was good and the sets were a great deal for the price. We walked in for dinner on a weekday night and were seated at the bar, but when we left, there was a long line outside, so definitely try to get here early!

THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ: Takumi vs. Naniwa Takumi has better noodles. They are more firm, thicker and tastier. The broth is not bad, more on a saltier soy side. Naniwa wins with its broth. The noodles aren't great, too soft. But the soup has great miso flavor. What to order: If you like miso or you don't have a preference - go with miso. If you are a healthy, clean eater and don't want it too busy - go with shio - the salt based ramen If you think miso isn't for you and shio sounds too boring. Than the soy based shoyu is perfect for you. Should I go for the fancier ramen: If you want Karaage, I'd order it separately. In a soup, they soaked the soup and lose their crunchiness. If you are debating between karaage or teriyaki - go with Karaage if you like fried stuff and teriyaki if you like the chicken texture. Both are highly recommended. Takumi = Takumi? If you don't ramen often - you might not notice a difference but if you are picky about your ramen. The OG takumi is the clear winner. The rest are alright. Is it worth standing in line for? If you hate the line, go to a different takumi. If you are just for a visit and want the experience the best ramen, then you'd have to wait in line :)

Best and most heavenly Japanese food in Düsseldorf, hands down. :) Only a few (small) downsides you must know about: 1.) You can only pay via Debit / Credit card. 2.) There is a short queue outside, but it should only take you 10 minutes at most to get inside, if you are 1, 2 or 3 people. (Small group) 3.) Sometimes Naniwa's main restaurant isn't open on certain days (usually Monday and Wednesday). In those cases their sushi bar on the opposite side of the road is open instead. Overall though, by far the best Japanese food in Dusseldorf and you could just never go wrong with whatever dish you pick. The tiny queue is 100% worth the wait! Enjoy your Japanese delicacies.

FOOD & DRINKS Naniwa offers plenty of ramen options and typical Japanese snacks. If you are vegetarian though, you are limited to a few items and I would not recommend the only vegetarian ramen they offer. I have been here several times many years ago. Not much has changed. The ramen was the meal of choice the first four or five visits. Later on I switched to the crab & shrimp Omelette over rice (they call it Tenshinhan here) and Karaage. I never felt the crab was a thing in their version and this time I even feel they barely put shrimps into the egg. Got a few super tiny pieces. The taste though was good as usual. They do a pretty decent job on all the things I had so far. SERVICE I have to say that the service was better many years ago. They were always packed but it has gotten worse over the years. Even though they expanded their restaurant, service has gone worse. Not to a point that its bad but everything feels rushed because they don't want people to wait too long. ATMOSPHERE The whole restaurant is nicely decorated. Even though they have been around for so long, the place doesn't look outdated. RATING There is one simple question? Is this restaurant worth the hype and wait time? Simple answer: no. I think its overrated. The food is good. Absolutely. But is it better than so many other options in Düsseldorf? Nah, I don't think so. Everything they offer here I had better in another Japanese Restaurant in Düsseldorf. Especially if you are vegetarian I would give this a hard pass unless you just come for some appetizers. Still, if you are lucky and can manage to get in front of the line, give them a shot.

Due to fact that the restaurant became popular with long waiting lines in front, the owners started acting rudely against costumers with time. The personal suppossed to assist us told us that there are many waiting after us and if do not act according to rules we will have to leave. Restaurants are supposed to keep us happy while waiting, not keep us in order.

We hit this place not even 10 min after it opened at 10:30 am and it was almost full! There are a lot of choices here in Little Tokyo of Düsseldorf. This was right around the corner from our hotel and a great place to eat before our drive to Antwerp. Boy we're we happy and full after this meal! We ordered one ramen (extra noodles, egg, extra veggies-free, and spicy). Note we did order the miso based vegetarian soup which was the most flavorful ramen I have ever had, ever! The noddles we added the omelet 3 € but worth it! We also tried to order the bamboo shoot app but they were out and we got the spinach instead which was cold and oh so good! The ramen noodles were cooked perfectly and they didn't skimp on the size, the bowl was huge! They put mushrooms, veggies, green onions and what seemed like a bottomless bowl of tasty treasures. Thank you so much for this amazing meal. The waitresses were amazingly sweet, switching their language from German, Japanese, Korean and English..wow! This place is first class!

The best fried rice EVER. Excellent Ramen. Worth the wait in line. Service very good, they just need more tables to avoid the wait.

On a lazy Sunday at lunchtime we just walked through the Japanese district of Düsseldorf. Looking for a small snack like Gyozas. This place we heard about that it's supposed to be good so we tried it. And yes! The Gyozas, Edauand the Wantan soup we tried was all very delicious. A bit pricy but it's worth it.

Whenever we are craving authentic Ramen, we drive into Germany from the Netherlands just to visit Naniwa. I have nothing to say except that all the menu items that we have ever tried have been fantastic. My favorite item on their menu is this omelette that they make which they serve over white rice in a fantastic sauce. In terms of service, if you were sitting towards the front near the entrance or at the bar, the service is great. If they happen to seat you towards the back of the restaurant on the other side, the service is severely lacking. It was bordeline almost rude when we were seated there. I have still given this establishment four stars because of the fantastic food and the great service we have gotten on the other side of the restaurant. If they can improve service throughout, I will definitely give them five stars.

A popular restaurant with delicious ramen! A good range of ramen and noodle choices, including a number of kids options. Tried the ramen with wanton, along with a side dish of Gyoza and was very satisfied! Be sure to check out the additions menu - additional veges or egg can be added at no cost.

Another popular ramen restaurant in Dusseldorf. Friendly service, tasty gyoza and ramen. Good idea to have the marinated egg and extra beansprouts option for free with noodles. Be sure to come early if you don't want to wait for a table. Single and couple will have more chance to get a seat faster at the bar if you don't mind.

Strangely satisfying. It's not ramen, not the traditional Japanese ramen anyway, it felt either Korean or Chinese though their Gyozas are good. It takes cash. There was no line, likely due to Eurocup Germany vs.France last evening. The restaurant has its sister outpost across the street, more sushi than noodles. I really liked their kimchi version, it reminded me of an European version of ramen found in Northern Europe. The fried noodles are also very good though it tasted sweeter than American (San Francisco bay area) version of Asian restaurants, this seemed more Taiwanese or Shanghaiese. The other noodles were all very good, and it is definitely more Northern Chinese or Korean than Japanese ramen, but it's very good, and completely reasonable in price. Ranging between $9 to $11 a bowl based on today's exchange rate of 1 Euro = $1.11. The real cool part of this place is that it's inside Little Tokyo, so if you are in Dusseldorf and craving for Asian food, don't let yourself think you are in the wrong place. Granted, this is Geary or Noriega Blvd, it's still fairly decent Asian restaurant. Keep an open mind and help yourself with some noodles here, it's better than what I've had in many other European cities. P.S. cash only. Super fast service.

This place came highly recommended and it was better than expected! The ramen is fresh and the service is fast. Looking forward to coming here again & trying out other items on the menu. Would say that it is a do not miss while in Düsseldorf.

It was a very cold afternoon in Germany, my Uncle and Aunty bought me here for some of the best ramen in Europe. My family doesn't really speak any German but was somehow able to communicate with the servers. There was a line on a bench outside the restaurant to make it a little more pleasant in the cold the restaurant actually fitted a temporary vent below the bench to warm people's bottoms. It was quite comfortable, if I am in the cold like this I wouldn't mind seating on that bench all day. The restaurant has an open kitchen which is typical for all Japanese restaurants. The interior can can get very crowded since the restaurant is fairly small but very popular, but there's also option for private rooms. The servers at the restaurant is very friendly even with the part language barrier. They were specially friendly to my little baby cousins which also enjoyed their meals. We eventually got seated to a table and ordered. I got a Tokusei Miso it came in a super large bowl which was larger than any other bowl on the table. My brother got Stamnia. There was also panko prawns, and fried chicken pieces. Everything was really good and is probably few best Japanese meals I had. ----- + Pro: Private rooms available, friendly service. - Con: Small restaurant can be a little tight to move around. \( ^,^)/ Overall: Great ramen noodles and more!

I know this is a popular spot and was my second attempt to eat here. The first time was on a cold winter evening. The queue was too long and the temperature too cold to stand so this time I tried for lunchtime and arrived just after opening time...no wait. Ordered the miso ramen with pork. The soup was excellent. The miso stock had a nice mealiness to it and was balanced but with a good up front flavour, not too salty and with hints of garlic and ginger, again not too heavy handed. Noodles were perfect in texture and taste. Portion size was good. The pork slices were also good but prefer a bit more melt in the mouth than the pork here. Nevertheless, this was up there with some of the best ramen I have tried. My lunch special came with a side salad of warm pork slices again (thicker cut) with beansprouts and kimchee. Price was reasonable. Not cheap but not too pricey since the quality was there.

I was visiting the town and my friend shows me this place, he told me that he has passed Naniwa Noodles & Soups many times, but sadly, he had never got the chance to try it out, mostly because of the restaurant was always full of people. That usually meant the restaurant is quite good. When we were there, there was still a line, but the line wasn't so many people there on it, so we decided just got on the line. and we were really lucky, we got an table just within 10 minutes waiting. I told my friend that I wanted to eat some ramen, that was the reason why we came here. Naniwa also has another restaurant just across the street, which that one mainly focuses on sushi. I like the location quite a lot, it was located in the Japan Town here. so the shops around kind of got this very deep Japanese culture influence. About the food, there got this special menu offer during the week, which is super reasonable. But pity that we were here at the weekend. It was quite difficult to make a choice from the menu, since they all looks so good. At the end I pick a cold noodle as my main dish and extra lava eggs, which was free. I also ordered some snack, they all tasted really good. I understood why so many people just come here and wait up. We all enjoyed our food really much, I heard that this place is quite famous in the city. The general cost here is quite alright, for sure, if next time I am in town will visit this place again.

Had lunch here on a Saturday. Coming here you have to be patient as there's always a long queue outside. Service is professional, quick and friendly. This is a typical ramen place in a casual setting. We tried the gyoza and fried chicken as appetizers. Both were seasoned well and very good. The batter of the fried chicken is especially nice, not too thick and very crispy. We also had the miso ramen with slices of pork and wun tun. The ramen is truly very good, cooked to perfection, still chewy. The broth is very tasty, not too salty. For me the pork could be more tender. And there's no need to try the wun tun. Too much dough for me. This place is not cheap, but worth every penny.

Naniwa is famous for their ramen and they are a must-visit on every visit to Dusseldorf. Friends have driven 2.5 hours just for that bowl of ramen, and it does not disappoint. Solidly good ramen! I'm already planning my next visit. Food: 5/5 We had the Tokusei Shio and Tokusei Miso, the difference is in the soup base. A shio is a fine-salt soup base and is a clearer broth with a lighter taste. A miso is a soybean paste soup and is a richer broth in taste and clarity. These were both topped with chasu (pork). Soup and noodles are the most important ingredients in a ramen and Naniwa nailed both of them. The soup bases were delicious and not overly salty (which is a common problem); the noodles were perfect with just the right amount of al dente. The amazing feat is that even after sitting in my bowl for 10 minutes, they were still al dente and not mushy like most other noodles. My only disappointment was the chasu, I wished it was fattier but that might just be my American tastes kicking in. (MEAT! MOAR MEAT!) We also had a plate of gyoza - pretty standard. The filling was very tasty though sadly the wrapper could have used a bit more crispiness. Service: 4/5 We arrived a little before 12pm and got lucky. Shortly afterwards, the lunch hour crowd started coming in and within 30 minutes, the place was packed. The service was efficient and pretty standard for European standards. The staff was Japanese and followed general Japanese restaurant manners - they greeted us when we entered and when we left. Atmosphere: 4/5 There are 2 parts to the restaurant, one side has bar seats where you can watch the ramen being prepared. Overall, it was super cute and very "gezellig". You don't feel rushed but this also isn't the place for loitering. It is very clear that people are here to enjoy good food. Value: 5/5 At less than 10 euros for a bowl, this is a pretty good deal. The ramen is delicious and on-par with several other famous ramen shops I've been to. You're not going to get better food that will fill you up for that price anywhere else.

NaNiWa is almost an institution for everyone enjoying Japanese food. Lining up in front of the place is absolutely worth it. My experience is, that it newer takes longer than 20min, no matter how long the line is... Teigtaschen and Stamina are my favorites. Turkusei Turimisu rocks as well. The place is a "must go" if you enjoy Japanese noodle soups.

The place is easy to find. There are two Naniwa restaurants on the same street. One is for sushis and the other one is for noodles and soup. You probably will realize you are in the wrong restaurant when you look at the menu and find out there is no any noodles but just to avoid embarrassment of exiting a restaurant without ordering, just take a second look at the restaurant name when you enter. The flavor of the food is authentic with great Japanese service. It makes me feel like eating in Tokyo instead of in Germany for two reasons. One for the taste and one for the Japanese restaurant setting, smiling waiters, comics and lots of Asians. If you want to eat great Japanese food, you won't regret coming here.

Totally worth the wait! If you love Ramen or the Japanese cuisine this is the place to be! I've tried several restaurants but their Tokusei Miso (not sure if I spelled it correct..) is by far one of the tastiest soups I've ever tasted. I always feel I'm eating bits of heaven when I'm there. Additionally I highly recommend the Gyoza and the Spinach with sesame dressing.

I've craved yakisoba for over two decades. This, as with all great things, was so worth the wait. Dense noodles and juicy, tender chicken with slightly crisp veggies steamed to absolute perfection. The wait outside would be annoying in winter but oh my it was worth managing the slight chill in the air. While we had this yakisoba, it was accompanied by jasmine tea and crispy shrimp. Yes, so good.

Best. Ramen. EVER! That might seem like an exaggeration, and in fact, being able to find ramen in Germany at all seems strange, but this is indeed some good stuff. I had the miso ramen and a side order of gyoza and what can I say, it was fantastic! The prices are reasonable for the large portions you'll receive, too. As far as seating goes, yes, the inside is pretty small, so you'll likely wait outside to get a seat. (Yet, they take your order down while you are waiting outside, so you don't wait too long once seated before your food arrives.) Places to get ramen seem to be small no matter where you go (the last place I went was in Fountain Valley, CA, and it was just as tiny!) If you like ramen, don't think twice, GO!

Fantastic place to grab ramen, especially when there's no line. During peak hours, the line wraps around the building, so try to go for a late lunch or early dinner. The selection of ramen is solid, focused on shio, shoyu or miso flavors. They have a ramen type for everyone's taste. If you feel like a lighter soup, try the Tokusei Shio, with sliced pork (lean, good quality), veggies & arugula. If you want something heartier, go for TanTan, with pork & ground beef, Chinese broccoli, soybean paste, sesame, chili oil. All options are around 9 Euros and in large bowls - really satisfying & tasty lunch options. And be sure to ask for an egg - they've never charged me extra for this!

After a long walk on my first day in Dusseldorf I found this place after reading the good reviews. Lucky me the queue is not that terrible on sundays and after 3 min I got a seat. I went for an easy choice, the Miso soup and... it was delicious!!! light but tasty, right amount of ginger. So yummy... mmmm..... Now I wanna try everything on that menu! I don´t know if discovering that on my first day in this city is great or is going to be my ruin, but I´ll definitely come back for more

For those (like me) who didn't know, there is a large Japanese community in Düsseldorf and Naniwa is in the Japanese area of the city where many Japanese companies have their German or European headquarters. There are also some minimarkets selling Japanese ingredients, a bakery and some other sushi and ramen restaurants. We picked Naniwa after reading some blogs that said this was the place for ramen. There's always a line to get a table (moving fast enough) and it might not seem worth it, especially on rainy days when the line outside makes you consider running to the first McDonalds you find, but once you're there you'll know it was worth the wait. The place is small so don't expect to be seated comfortably. We were at the bar, right in front of the action, where they prepare everything. I'm no expert but my Chashu Miso ramen was delicious, and perfect for the cold rainy day (free 'facial sauna' thanks to the boiling hot dish). Great thick broth and perfectly cut pork slices (no fat), the gyoza were also great and big, one bowl of ramen per person and an order of gyoza to share were enough for us. Prices are not high at all, €4,50 for the gyoza and ramen ranging from €9 to €10 so definitely worth the queue!

Look, you can't compare Naniwa ramen to ramen anywhere else, hence, the three stars. But there aren't really any other options in Düsseldorf, so if you're craving ramen, go here. Like everyone else has said, there is ALWAYS a line. We went at 5pm on a Sunday and we still had to wait in a line that looked like it was halfway down the block. Though the line moves past and in the end we were only waiting for around 15 minutes. The benches have this little heater/air-blower thing that keeps you warm and they hand out menus so it's not the worst thing in the world. Bonus points: If you're willing to sit at the bar you're seated faster. We skipped a big chunk of the line because no one ahead of us wanted to eat at the bar. Now, the food. My husband and I both got the miso ramen. It was tasty, and definitely hit our "ramen" craving after missing all the Japanese food we got to eat while living in San Francisco, but it definitely didn't feel the same. First of all, it's literally just meat and noodles. If you want an egg, you have to ask for it. Want veggies? Too bad. But the broth was hearty and the noodles were nicely cooked. I'll definitely go back, but only if my craving is bad enough to brave the wait and the minor disappointment.

Awesome!! The place serves the best ramen in the city if not Germany! If you arrive around lunch time expect to wait as word has gotten around. While its a bit pricy, you get great quality food and the portion size definitely compensates for the price

This is my favorite meal in Düsseldorf, the atmosphere was great, but above all the food was delicious. I order a lunch special that included gyoza , salad ,stir fry noodles with pork a portion of rice with an omelette on top and a Kirin beer. It was a lot of food. I will be coming back next time I come to Dusseldorf.

Great noodle/ramen restaurant! Might need to queue for a whIle but definitely worth the wait. Font forget to try the side dishes like gyoza etc. If you cannot finish your ramen dish, don't be afraid to ask for a doggy bag. (Which I did myself) One of my favorite places in dusseldorf :)

My second ramen stop in Germany after Takumi, and I'm still conflicted. The ramen is good, but not exceptional. I praise them for their authenticity and efforts. The ramen in prepared in an open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant, so you can watch the cooks work on the meals. Oh boy, do they work hard. The orders keep coming and the cooks don't stop. It's not fair for me to be picky and compare Naniwa to ramen restaurants in Japan or the US, so I'll keep it general and discuss things within their control. The ramen noodles are cooked medium (versus hard or soft), which is the way I like mine, and the soup is solid. Great, the basics are down. I was really happy to see the ample serving of chashu. Some other places charge more and give you less meat, and the chashu really adds to the experience of the dish. My only complaint is that the chashu was dry and tough. The cut of meat needs some more fat and the chashu needs to be slow roasted and simmered. Compared to Takumi, the line to get in here is nuts and the wait for food was longer. If you dine solo like I did, the wait is shorter, but still there's a wait. The menu here offers more than ramen, it includes yakisoba, mabo tofu, onigiri, and ebi fry. Call me a purist, but I really think ramen places should stick to doing ramen well. Yeah, maybe throw in some combination rice dishes, but don't over do it.

I eat late and that's perfect for this place because it's not very packed and there's always room for 1 at the counter. TOKUSEI SHIO and Tori Kara (chicken karaage) were very good. I'd pass on the CHASHU SHOUYU. It was just okay. I like the fast service. Even when it's late and not so many people there, they take your order, serve and clean up promptly. (fast is a good thing if you just want to get in, get something good to eat, and get out). The servers there speak Japanese and German, but very little English.

This place has very fast service. There is a long line outside but we were quickly seated. The food itself was delicious. Great noodles, the broth was excellent, and good prices. I would highly recommend this place.

It was great to try a ramen place in Dusseldorf, and I was pleasantly surprised! In San Francisco, ramen is a staple and really amazing-- but here it was just as good!! It was located in a cozy little place and the prices were great for how much food they came out with. We had the teriyaki chicken, gyozas, and the tan tan men and it was awesome. I'd highly recommend coming over if you were looking for a place to try out some authentic japanese ramen.

Food was ok. But the service was really odd. Not the typical service I'm used to receiving from Japanese people. Japanese. Tend to be friendly. Especially if you're providing business to them. At the beginning I thought they were just being rude to my crowed. But then I saw they were being rude to other customers. So. Being that there are plenty of other Japanese restaurant around. I may try others. The waiter kept walking away from us after he would ask what we wanted. In the beginning it was annoying. But by the 3rd time he did it. It was just funny.

So much food - huge portions! I ordered the nagasaki champon, and we also had some gyoza to start. Honestly, the noodles were enough to fill me up. It's a tight little shop, so there's limited seating - if you sit on the counter you can watch the chefs cooking like mad. If it's a hot day, get some refreshing iced barley tea. I wish I'd gone for the large (the small is small). The wait was a bit long, but we got there early enough so only had to wait on the benches outside for 15 minutes.

Came here again on a Saturday evening and the wait was very long- about 30 minutes outside in the cold. They don't take reservations or names in advance, but they did allow us to order while in line and brought the drinks and meals relatively promptly once we sat down. Ramen was more delicious than I remembered. Only downside of this restaurant is the long wait and the price, but still highly recommend this place.

It is a Japanese noodle bar with some extra Japanese/Chinese dishes. Not sure what a hype of this place is... I tried miso ramen and Gupta and they were both good but definitely not something I would wait in line... Overall, good food but not very different from average ramen - did not have depth of flavour in the soup and toppings are not that special. Noodles were quite tasty though. Something to try but would not wait more than 5 minutes..,

Went with my 10 year old daughter. She wanted to eat Japanese ramen for dinner. We ordered a gyoza, chicken teriyaki, small salad and a bowl of chasiu ramen. The ramen and gyoza was the dinner combination. It was enough food for both of us. The gyoza was yummy. The teriyaki sauce was a bit sweet. The salad had a nice dressing and variety and the noodle in the soup was nice and chewy. There are 2 rooms to sit as well as tables for outside eating. Waitstaff was polite. The restroom is downstairs. Come for the food. It won't break the bankbook.

Great food, good price. I would give this a five star if they had hot sauce (Siracha) but all they had was powder which was not hot at all. Wait was not bad considering it was a holiday.

This is my first time to try their foods and write my first review here. Before waiting in line, I read the reviews, and most of all were positive. I was lucky I didn't have to wait too long to get a seat. There were plenty of ramen to choose, I ordered "sutamina", and in 5 mins it was served on my table. The ramen were full of pork and Kimchi, and the smell was great. It seems all perfect till now, but why I gave them only one star? When I started eating, I found a "flying ant" in my soup. I told the clerk, she took my ramen back to the kitchen, and I waited totally "15 mins" the new ramen coming. I still finished it and paid, but I felt irrespective. Why?They didn't say any apologize words. I knew they are busy, no extra time to take care of me. Why they didn't want to cherish their hard-earned goodwill? Most importantly, they do need to improve their hygiene!!!

A (local) friend recommended this place. I'm from California (San Francisco) so I wasn't sure about Japanese noodle soup in Germany. But this place was prefect and reasonably priced. I had the spicy miso and it was huge, tons of miso flavor and good amount of spice with the chili oil. I added more chili oil that is on the table because I like it extra spicy. We had the gyoza and shrimp fried rice to start - they were excellent too. My boyfriend wants to come back before they close tonight to get some shrimp fried rice to take back to the hotel. This is as good as any food in California - so that is saying a lot. You can tell how successful they are - they have 3 restaurants on the same street corner - and at 3pm on a Wednesday - each place was pretty packed. We may go back before they close tonight since we leave back for the states in the morning. Highly recommended.

Probably 1 of the most popular noodle restaurant in Düsseldorf. Queueing for 30 mins looks like minimum. Fair price, very good taste. Top priority option every time in Düsseldorf

I've attempted to go to this place three times and only on the third time I went in because there was no line. That was surprising since the other well known noodle place in Dusseldorf just a street down never has that much people. All the noodle dishes here are just a tad cheaper than its competitions. It also has an open kitchen, and the soup base for each ramen has essentially the same stock, then is mixed with other things on the wok. Service was a little longer than I was anticipating. As for the noodle, I got the Takumi Stamina I think and the pork slices were fabulous. They were thin and the texture was great. As for the shredded veggies in the soup, it was alright, certainly nice but not too fancy. The portion was definitely large though. 4.5 out of 5 stars. Would definitely go again

Very nice place and the soups, nuddles are great

If you like noodles and you like spice good asien style noodle soup, this is the palce wher you should go. The balance between price, quality and amount of food is very good. For 1EUR more you get a lot of extra meat. If you like to come on a Tuesday, sorry to disapoint you but this day is closed. Make any reservation very in advance or calculte at least 30-45 min. waiting time for a table. Just enjoy and take one of the menue cards with you, maybe you would like to order over phone and just pick it up after 10-15 Min. Yummy noodles!!!

If someone deserves a 5 star review than it is that place. They ALWAYS deliver, the food is always on the same high standard. I couldn't imagine a better meal than their Tori Chahan and the fried Gyoza. Heaven on earth. My favorite restaurant in whole Germany.
