Nannai Climbing Home

We were only there to do our laundry and take a shower, even though we weren't guests in the hostel. The super nice owner agreed to both. That was great as we‘re traveling with the van and have no other possibilities and the price was very fair :) The interior of the Nannai is very unique and so beautiful. And the roof top terrace has a great view! A nice place :)

Absolutely wonderful stay in Ulassi! Everyone was very helpful and the accommodation was perfect. We stayed in the private room as a couple and it was excellent for a climbing trip. Highly recommend!

This is certainly the best climbing hostel I ever stayed at. The team running the place is open-minded, chill, and easy to communicate with. The views from the terrace are spectacular. It's possible to work from here remotely; most of climbing cracks are in walking distance, some as close as 5-7 min. from the hostel, so getting to climbing is easy. It's mostly vertical climbing, but the diversity of sectors is quite high, so everyone can find something for themselves. Highly recommended for climbers that love a chill community which has no obsession of grades.

Great place in Ulassai. Very good rooms, spacious and clean. People running the guest house have been helpful and very nice. Great small restaurant in the same building. Highly recommended for climbers or people that want to visit Ulassai and its surroundings

I'm not sure if I should tell you about this incredibly great place and the incredibly nice hosts and guests over there. The name 'Climbing Family' says it all. I was traveling alone and was welcomed very openly and warmly by both other guests and the hosts, there was always someone to climb with, to have a beer together on the great roof terrace or to cook. The most imposing walls are all within walking distance, the sea always in sight. Especially impressive are the efforts for sustainability and for the contact with the locals. In short, a fabulous place for a time off: Climb, Eat, Sleet, Repeat.... Thank Franky, thanks Ruben!

I can only recommend this place to any climber! We had a double room with shared barhroom and it was not only very comfortable but also furnished with care in unique style. Bathroom was very spacious and kitchen had all utensils for cooking - bothof those we shared with two other rooms. The highlight is the roof tarrace for yoga, breakfest and beer, great atmosphere with other climbers to chat with. We hope we can come back soon. Ulassai as a climbing location is absolutely amazing.

What an amazing place! Clean, spacious rooms with heaps of rustic home-made character and excellent facilities (in particular the absolutely stellar rooftop terrace + ice cold beers 😄). But what really made our stay special, was the way the entire Nannai family made us feel at home. We will definitely come back more than once - unless we end up staying forever next time! Thanks for everything Nannai, we miss you all already!

This place is so wonderful! The bed was extremely comfortable. The bedroom and shared bathroom were both so nicely decorated and had plenty of room to move around. The rooftop area is so fun and i regret that we didn't spend more time up there. Driving to Nannai was eventful through the tiny, windy streets, but it is possible to go around the outside of town so that became a non-issue. Liz (and her pup) was so very helpful and kind, especially when we arrived hours later than intended and past midnight. Stay here, you won't regret it!
