Nantucket Pharmacy

The lemon press had such a long line we came here instead and WOW was that the best Ice coffee I have ever had! Added vanilla syrup and half and half and it was like drinking coffee ice cream. I will miss this place so much when I leave tomorrow 😩 We also had the open faced bagel (tomato and olive oil, skipped the cream cheese) and it was a combo I didn’t know I needed! The workers were so friendly sharing their homemade pickles (pickle lemonade is a thing I think?). As for the pharmacy itself, you won’t find better prices on post cards and little knick knacks besides regular pharmacy stuff.

I personally loved this pharmacy. They were super helpful when I first arrived. It had that mom and pop feel and they just wanted to help Now realize it’s not a CVS or Walgreens. They have what’s needed but not everything. Tbh, I loved the feel, it felt old school and retro. Pharmacy was a great help!!!

Popped into the Nantucket Pharmacy and had a lovely experience! The sweet pharmacist and her husband were so knowledgeable and helpful. The building is beautiful!

On vacation I needed medication for something urgent - it was late on a Sunday and my boat was scheduled to leave in less than two hours. After reaching my provider, I decided to try Nantucket Pharmacy. The pharmacist quickly filled it for me, and the help at the counter was polite and helpful. There was no delay with my insurance or any paperwork to do. Convenient, fast and friendly.

Price of a fat breakfast bagel sandwich was good. Refreshing spot to grab breakfast on the go. The lovely lady serving our meal was sweet. We had “I’m melting” tuna melt And “The Barnyard” The barnyard hit the spot with a cup of coffee. Loved the fresh flowers and fancy straws!

The soda fountain here is awesome. A blast from the past — they don’t do it like this anymore. Milkshakes, hot dogs and even a Japanese egg salad sandwich.

I was having lunch at the counter. Tasty lunch counter food. The homemade pickles are excellent.

Great service and great food, reasonably priced. The 3 days we visited i tried the turkey lurky and Jamaican jerk chicken sandwiches and they were delicious. Made right in front of you. Great conversation with the servers, they gave us lots of info about the area and were very friendly. Price, great service and retro soda fountain theme make this the only place to go for me on the island. Thank you all for the great visit, it was definitely the highlight of my trip.

I asked directions and ended up at this drug store. The pharmacy was in back with a luncheon counter on the side. I was looking for suntan lotion and a razor. I always forget something to when I am traveling. The place was clean despite the foot traffic. The prices seemed reasonable given that it was on an island where everything had to be shipped in. I would go again if I ever needed something while in Nantucket.

Three idiot teenagers behind the counter eating more food than they sold. One kept lifting up his shorts and scratching his inner thigh, the girl dumped a full trash can into a larger full trash can then went back to handling money and food in her nasty gloves. Had to shout to get service because none the employees would acknowledge us. $10.70 for a small shake. Where's the adult in charge?

Love the ice cream at this place. Glad we asked some locals where we could find some. It is a find indeed. Portions are nice and the staff so sweet

We have been getting ice cream sodas and egg creams here for years. It is definitely light on the pharmacy side - unless you need a script. Their toiletries selection is not huge. The egg creams are hit or miss. Sometimes great, sometimes too heavy on the seltzer water. Then again, I am from NY and egg creams are an art here. Proportions are everything. The staff is friendly and the place is very clean.

As everything these days seem to be, this one time legenday " lunch counter" has changed hands & baby it aint for the better. Taking into account all the changes that must be made for the covo19, this place has been stripped of all retro charm. Forget the menu, because what was the home of the best BLT on the island, muffins, ice/ cream etc. is now @ EXORBITANT prices. Im still in shock over the ( once $6.50) BLT I just ordered and was told it was $12.00! for a BLT @ a lunch counter!!! The Lobster Roll is $28.00.... @ aLUNCH COUNTER!!! Ps: I almost took the BLT back, it was the worst I ever had. It had 2 ( I kid you not) pieces of bacon & to add insult to injury ,the young lady who took my order asked me if I wanted lettuce & tomato on this BLT ...... Need I say more. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Shitty rip-off.

Best BLT sandwich's and iced coffees! I always come here it has been here for years and it has the best Frappes, Sandwitches, and ice cream.. If you come to nantucket this place on Main Street is a must place to go!

Why does this place only have 8 reviews?! Whenever my family comes to Nantucket this is a must visit location for frappes (milkshakes, but they insist on calling them frappes). The frappes are huge, delicious, thick, and on Nantucket a steal at $6. The line is never too long. The staff is super friendly. You can choose whatever ice cream (or combo) you want. The frappes always come in to go cups so you can take them and continue on your walk around town. This is a cash only establishment so come prepared.

AMAZING PLACE! They have an old fashioned soda fountain that is wonderful. They have cheese sandwiches and ice cream and all sorts of amazing counter fast-food. Plus it's a pharmacy with all kinds of interesting side/impulses items. Cash only, so be forewarned, but you'll fall in love with it the first visit.

This place has everything you need and more! I wish I had gotten a breakfast sandwich here but I unknowingly passed on it. The ice cream/coffee/breakfast counter is so cute! I got the PB cookie dough ice cream for dessert and it was so good. The one scoop was PLENTY. They also have everything a normal pharmacy has!

Yay for 1940s nostalgia even though I've never set timefoot in the actual '40s! Pop through the swingin' screen door to find a lunch counter on the left, and random toys/sunscreens on the right. We ordered two giant frappes ($5.50 + 50¢ for malt) and spent the few minutes waiting perusing the playthings, birthday cards, sundries, baby hygienic products and actual functional pharmacy space. The food prep is likely managed by 'Tucket teens, so expect some shortcuts, ie our shakes were blended in paper cups instead of the tins (yargh!), but they were rich and thick and hand-scooped and way too much to finish. See also: the perfect amount. And reasonably priced, like their $4-6 sandwiches as noted by handwrit signage. If you're willing to forgo the flair and sophistication of most other eateries in favor of dirty water dogs and ice cream sodas at non-tourist prices, fly by the Nantucket Pharmacy and (a) wax nostalgiac, or (b) watch your grandparents wax nostalgic. Because somebody's gonna wax nostalgic, dammit!

Great cookie dough ice cream very friendly staff and you must try the Girl Scout frappe if you want the best milkshake Ever!

The Frappes are the best I've had on Nantucket! You choose your ice cream (and can go with ice cream combos if you'd like) which is scooped and blended up with milk and your choice of syrup. Reasonably priced for the island and delicious after a sunny day on the beach!

Absolutely love it at the soda fountain. Workers are amazing and the food is great. Always enjoy going there!!

Great pharmacy with historic charm. When you first walk in, it feels like you've traveled back in time. There is a soda fountain with leather swivel chairs just like the '50s. They sell everything from ice cream cones and frappes, to the best tuna melts on the island. As you continue past the lunch counter there are a few aisles filled with the essential drug store merchandise. All the way in the back are the pharmacists! They are so kind and truly care for all of their customers. They go above and beyond when it comes to taking care of their customers and really try to help people as much as they can.

I have been a big time fan of the pharmacy there grilled cheeses are spectacular. That being said the staff is out of control I called in hope to order a bunch of sandwiches but apparently that is not " following procedure". The man on the other end of the phone was nothing but inconsiderate and disrespectful. I am going to give them another chance in hope they redeem themselves.
