I had a disappointing experience with the CLE course I attended. I raised concerns about the possibility of subpar materials affecting our artwork, but the response was to arrange a session with a technician to offer tips on improving my technique to prevent such outcomes in the future. This also implied the issue was due to user error. If technique is so critical, I feel this should have been properly addressed during the class itself? Given the high course fees, I expected better guidance and quality control. I’ve attended other private classes and never encountered such issues. I was seriously considering signing up for the Level 2 course, but the defensive response to feedback has made me rethink that decision—especially since I’m paying out of pocket and not using SkillsFuture credits.
