Nao Kitchen Bar

It has been on my list for a time. I finally went there today and I was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. I will try to go again. The Pad Thai was amazing ✨

I came in for a quick lunch because I was craving Japanese ramen and heard it was good here. The broth was served very hot (which I love) and the broth was rich and silky. The egg was marinated properly with a flavored runny yolk. I am picky about the egg being prepared correctly so I was happy about that. The chashu pork was very soft, tender, and flavourful. 3 slices were included. The serving size was great. Enough for me to enjoy now and some leftovers for later. The service was very professional, hospitable, and attentive. I had to leave for a meeting in 45 mins and he was able to accommodate my schedule, even providing me with water to drink. It was thoughtful because I didn't even have to ask for it. I will be back to try the other items!

I am giving this a 1 star because of the very negative welcome I received. I was alone, at 5:15. The restaurant was empty and they asked if I had a reservation. I did not, there was some talk that I needed one, then as I turned to leave, they said “You can sit upstairs”, which was lovely. I sat for over 7 minutes without being approached, and there was only one other table occupied. So I left. Now I am enjoying delicious pasta across the street at a warm and welcoming restaurant! I have since ordered Nao from Uber Eats as take out, and it is absolutely delicious. I got the seafood soup and the seafood was just caught fresh, but the broth a bit too gingery to give it a 5. But oh my, the siomai! It’s rare that I walk around my house after eating take out that exclaim “Man that was good” over and over again. Pretty much perfection here with the siomai. Will I order Nao take out again? Oh hell yes! Will I try the restaurant in house again? Maybe.

Cute dining area. The staff were plentiful. We tried the ramen & the wontons. Both were quite good - especially the peanut sauce. We’ll be back to try the desserts!

Great lunch! Delicious & creative Asian flavors! Super tender Korean ribs thanks to the sous vide prep. Waitress was super—thank you! 👍 Pleasing music and not too loud so one could talk. Nice bar menu too.

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food at Nao. We had great service and fun drinks. All the food was great and we especially enjoyed dessert. The cuisine fusion gave us lots of great bites. This restaurant needs to be added to everyone's restaurant list in Mazatlan.

Liked the vibe, had chowfun tasted great but way dry (needed a bit more sauce)... Churro dessert was delicious! What I didn't like the most was booth seats so high that your feet don't touch ground... that made sitting there uncomfortable for me (at 5'2) my toes couldn't even touch the floor... I will go back for food... but maybe 'to go' next time!

Excellent place. Friendly helpful people, excellent food and nice wine list at very reasonable prices. Been here 3 times, had the Korean ribs, Ssamjang rib eye and the Short rib. All highly recommended. And they recently started opening up from noon so no need to wait till 6pm….great environment and decor with both indoor and outdoor seating..

I came here in March and loved it! When I came back down in September, I knew I wanted to revisit this place. I like the calm ambiance with the upscale feel. And the service is so top notch! I love how it's within the central shopping/restaurant area. The food is EXCEPTIONAL! It's Korean-fusion restaurant. As a Korean, they did a great job of marinating Korean and Mexican. I love the green ceviche, that was a re-order from March. The crispy rice paper goes perfect with it, honestly I can just munch on the crispy rice paper as is. Love the crunch and the flavor. My friend's vegetarian and really enjoyed her salad. A waitress recommended the cheek taco, I didn't fully love it but it was still yummy. 10/10 recommend if you're in Mazatlan!

Night 1:Ordered the shrimp wonton, gyoza & fried rice. Food was bomb!!! The drinks ( Aperol Sunshine & Singkama) we ordered were amazing too!!! Night 2: Ordered Singkama & Spicy Pina, both drinks were amazing. For food we had Soimai, Pork bao & Ramen. The Sou Mai & bars were delicious but I didn't care for the ramen. It tasted more like instant noodles. Ended the meal with matcha brownie. It was yummm but make sure you like matcha before you order it.

Understated from the street but not difficult to find. Broad selection of Asian fusion foods. Long bebidos menu including many beer and also also tea selections. The dumplings and soup bowls presented elegantly. soothing portions. delicious! My date mentioned that the seats were uncomfortable although I was too engrossed in the food to notice:)

Soooo goood! Get. The. Ribs!! And save room for churros and ice cream! Small restaurant so good idea to make reservations.
