We enjoyed our overnight stay in a large room with a very comfortable bed, and the best bathroom in a long time. We chose the hotel in order to walk to a dinner, but we liked it well enough to hope for a return trip. The breakfast was unusually good and the alert staff made the most of the space, keeping the dishes filled and fresh. We could walk to the bakery to buy lunch for the trip home. There's no lift for upstairs rooms.

We came here for our 20th Wedding anniversary. It's a lovely place with wonderful staff and is a great value, too. Would definitely recommend this place, especially if you plan on doing anything in Yountville. It's a short walk from the French Laundry, Bouchon Bakery, and any number of restaurants, wineries, and other amenities.

The continental breakfast was great! I wouldn’t bother paying for it to be brought to your room. The room was always clean, the welcome bag was cute. We will definitely be back! The area was perfect too, not too far from anything (Napa, Sonoma). Local featured restaurants, we recommend Mustards near by.

Superb customer service! Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is the best! Tons of amenities and free stuff. lol. Ambience is great! Got to ride their bikes around town. We’ll definitely go back. Didn’t take much pictures.

What a wonderful place to stay in Yountville! The room was lovely, spacious and quiet and looked out over the pool. The breakfast is much more than a continental breakfast. The quiche, sausage, and smoked salmon were delicious. There were many other choices as well. It was easy to walk to wonderful restaurants for dinner. All in all, a great place!

I recently celebrated my birthday with a weekend getaway in Yountville, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and celebrated. The hotel has been recently updated - it was modern yet timeless, relaxing and charming. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with beautiful views. The breakfast they provide has everything you could ever want and overlooks gorgeous vineyards. We appreciated the hotel’s perfect location—close to wineries and downtown, but peaceful enough to really unwind. They provide bikes that we used to get to a local winery, which was really fun! Celebrating such a meaningful milestone surrounded by close friends in a place like this was incredible. If you’re planning a special occasion—or just want to treat yourself in Yountville - I highly recommend the Napa Valley Lodge.

Google
Honestly the best hotel I'm every stayed at in the US. Such a great room and the pool area was perfect for lounging around. Very easy to walk to all the restaurants from here and was right by a cute park. We enjoyed massages here and they were wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Just a wonderful spot - great location, beautiful view and property, very nice staff, accommodating beyond. A peeve is the water pressure so if you need a strong shower, it's not here, but otherwise, it's all here.

Yelp
Glorified Motel 6! My girlfriends and I went on a girls trip to Yountville and stayed two nights at the Lodge. 5 Stars: Location is what you're paying for. Can walk into town no problem. Parking is free for hotel guests. 4 Stars: Their continental breakfast was good. Fruits, yogurt, cottage cheese, waffles, eggs (tasted fake). But don't fill up because if you're staying in Yountville you should be standing in line at Bouchon. 1 Star: No elevator, which wouldn't have been a problem but they also had no bellmen to help bring our bags to the second floor. It was raining during our stay and I'm pregnant and didn't feel comfortable lugging my bag to the second floor so had to ask one of my girlfriends to. 1 Star: Rooms. We had an ant problem when we came back from dinner. There was no food left out for them to be in there but they were on the counter tops and even on our bed! The hotel was able to give us a new room once we asked but for the price you're paying $800/night you shouldn't have ants! ICK! Plus no discounted rate for their infestation. 1 Star: Customer service. When we asked to borrow umbrellas to walk into town the front desk lady did not hide the fact that she was annoyed and even rolled her eyes when we asked to take a photo of us. Check out. The night before our power went out from 12am-2am so when we went to check out their system was down and they were unable to give me break down of the costs. Before we arrived one of our girlfriends had a family emergency the week of our girls trip. She called to ask the hotel if they could break their 1 week policy (6 days out) and cancel the second room. Heather, the manager, agreed to cancel one of the nights but instead of cancelling one of the nights she failed to explain that she would be taking our DEPOSIT and only giving us one room for two nights. She took a $800 deposit and STOLE a second room for us. This is extremely poor customer service on Heather's end. I've stayed at the North Block Hotel and would choose their location over Napa Valley Lodge. Better customer service, location, and food.

Yelp
Lovely, small hotel with clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Walking distance to everything in town. Relaxing garden tea with pool, whirlpool, fire pits and hammocks. Good quality and variety for breakfast. One star off for excessive noise from work staff while we were in meetings in the event room.

Yelp
This is my new favorite hotel in Napa Valley - what a find! It is not cheap but great value for the price given that hotels in the area are quite pricey. It was ~$900/night in May for a standard, non-holiday weekend which is steep...but relatively standard these days. The room is good size - two queen beds and enough room for a couple of arm chairs in the room (and lots of room to walk around). The bathroom was relatively spacious with a separate area for the toilet and shower (though without a door to separate it from the sink). There is a small patio (for us on the ground floor, balcony for higher floors) off the room which kinda look into the courtyard pool area, though that area is separated by a fence. There are a lot of little things that are nice about this place - robes and slippers, fancy coffee machines in room, welcome gifts at check in (that include little bites like popcorn and brownie bites), warm cookies in the afternoons (first come, first served!) and free wine happy hours Tuesdays and Fridays. My friends and I got massages which were in the treatment rooms off of the pool. When booking, they really wanted us to understand that the massages are not in a spa environment (they definitely are not) and we booked our massages two at a time (like a couples massage but we're just friends). We appreciated them clarifying - the experience was great and very convenient since half the group could get massages while the other half could hang out by the pool. The pool is on the small side which was fine for most of the afternoon. We weren't wine tasting so were mostly just hanging out at the pool and by the time it hit 4pm, the pool was packed with slightly drunk people. The hotel has a couple of electric charging stations that weren't particularly busy. The hotel description says they have a continental breakfast - this is no standard continental breakfast! The breakfast offering is great. They had a different egg dish each day from scrambled eggs to quiche and also sausage and breakfast potatoes. They also had a spread of cold cheeses, deli meats and smoked salmon. They also had make your own waffles (with pre-poured waffle batter!) and whipped cream and maple syrup. They offered an assortment of pastries like scones and croissants and also oatmeal, granola and yogurt along with a fancy espresso machine and mimosas. The location is great! It's around the corner from Ciccio and a short walk from all of the restaurants in Yountville.

Yelp
My friends and I had a lovely stay here. Cozy hotel with all the important amenities. - Bikes available - Cookies at check-in - They gave a cute gift bag at check-in - Daily breakfast was very nice - The price for the hotel was reasonable compared to other nearby locations - Location is great, walking distance from many local spots - Pool - Rooms were clean and spacious

Yelp
Very charming hotel in yountville. We really love the special touches they add to make our stay memorable. Welcome goodie bag filled with treats, a bottle of wine and a handwritten note from staff. Cookies and coffee, tea in the hotel lobby. Bikes to use to peruse the town. Their complimentary champagne continental breakfast is also amazing. The heated pool and hot tub is also a plus. It's literally across the street from one of our fav yountville restaurants ciccio and it's a short stroll to bouchon bakery and the rest or Thomas Kellers restaurants. It's usually our go to hotel in this area. Bonus: complimentary EV charging available

Yelp
Highly recommended! Napa Valley Lodge was the perfect get away that my wife and I were looking for. Yountville is a very small town but many great shops and terrific restaurants. I decided to take my wife here after reading lots of good reviews for a getaway. We told them it's our anniversary; and when we get into our room, the hotel has left a complimentary bottle of champagne for us! We immediately opened it to try and it was very delicious! The entire hotel and guest room were decorated with lots of great details that make guests feel so comfortable and at ease. The lighting, the fireplace, the comfortable mattress, Bluetooth speaker, water kettle, coffee machine, and nice towels and toiletries...we really appreciated the details they included in the rooms. We used the speaker and played music we loved and that made the stay so special. The sound of water fountain was also very calming. The breakfast buffet was not extravagant but still very good. We were satisfied with the selections. Didn't get to use the pool though. Short walk to most restaurants. It was a great experience!

Yelp
Stayed here for a work event - paid by my employer. I gave the hotel my debit card (mistake) to use as the security deposit ($100) for incidentals. Instead of putting a $100 hold on my account, they put a $764 hold! The reps and management informed me it was a "tech" error and apologized all while I was left in the negative in my checking account for going on a week now. My bank can't release the hold. When you wrongly take and hold someone's money like that, you fix the situation. You don't tell them "sorry".

Reilly M.

Yelp
This is such a beautiful hotel and in an amazing area. Hotel staff is very attentive and helpful. They will hold your luggage if needed which was super helpful for us. The courtyard and pool area are so underrated and unique. Perfect for pictures and spending time in between dinner or winery reservations. Room was super clean and we felt completely comfortable and safe.

Yelp
Wonderful experience here. Location, Room, staff, breakfast, bikes, pool, hot tub, fire pits ....all amazing. Highly recommend ....you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Wow! I took a risk and splurged on this place for my milestone birthday and I couldn't be happier. At check in they gave me a bag which included a free bottle of wine with a personal greeting card for my birthday and a couple of snacks. My partner and I were also treated to a generous splash of Rose! That was just the beginning! The room was beautiful and had a private balcony overlooking the courtyard and green hills in the distance. Def recommend courtyard view! I'm a huge germaphobe especially during COVID and I did not find any hair or dust or bugs in my room. It was immaculately clean :) We used the complementary cruiser bikes and rode into town. All the nice restaurants are just a couple minutes walk away. And the scenery along the way was pretty and felt super safe. The breakfast: Best coffee machine ever giving me nice velvety foamy cappuccinos and lattes and espressos. Mimosas, nice teas, almond/soy/regular milk, fresh baked pasteries and scones from local bakery, homemade granola and all kinds of yogurt, eggs, sausage, fresh delicious Lox with capers red onions and lemon, cheese, hot oatmeal with the fixings, fresh berries, all kinds of spreads for your toast. All you can eat and be merry!!! And the breakfast staff are happy and very kind. I was uncomfortable with the buffet style still so they even offered to make a separate tray for me filled with anything I want as much as I want. They are the best! I hope they all get a huge raise :) The courtyard layout is beautiful and green and serene...multiple fire pits and hammocks, lounge beds, chairs all spread out and Bocce ball! The pool was treated every morning and was super clear. This was the cleanest pool I've ever been in! I enjoyed every moment there. The place is amazing. Every staff member I met was happy and wanting to help me. Oh and my son loved the afternoon cookies! Win win, everyone happy!

Yelp
Perfect hotel. No notes. But some of the things we liked: Ideal location--short drive to Napa, very short walk to the shops and superb dining of Yountville. Lovely pool, hot tub and fire pit area with large lounges furnished not only with towels but pillows and blankets. Fine buffet breakfast. Nicely appointed rooms with balconies overlooking a little vineyard and mountains. Everything sparkly clean and quiet. And my favorite: a sweet dressing table with large light-up mirror, a second magnifying mirror, and one of those spiffy bright red Chi ionic hairdryers. We found the price very reasonable for the Valley. And while the Lodge is not as eye-poppingly upscale as some of the neighboring hotels nor is it a resort (its "spa" is a single room off the pool area, it serves no meals other than that morning buffet, and in some ways such as layout, parking, proximity to street, etc. it might be viewed as a very elegant motel) we found it perfect for our needs.

Yelp
Wow!!! Fabulous boutique Hotel ideally located in Yountville. Perfect for cruising on their bikes down Main Street or walking to fabulous restaurants. Such as RH , Bouchon and Bistro Jeanty which are nearby. The staff, managed by GM. "Max" was knowledgeable, professional, and very welcoming.. The included breakfast is quite extensive in a nice room with a fireplace. Nice pool, jacuzzi and fitness. I just could not say enough good things about this hotel. Can't wait to go back! Buz

Yelp
How can' their price go up over $1000 for 4 nights in January? I originally called and only asked for three nights. I did tell them it was a Sunday but I said January 8 instead of January 9 ( 4 months away from now, and during off season) My original quote was for $1308.10 for January 5,6,7 and leaving on the 8th - I also want to add I was told if I went online I would get a discount- after talking with my husband we decided to book it. I created an online account to book it through their website to get the discount. I could not book the trip because it said it was not a minimum of 9 days. I called and explained to the woman who answered and then told herI needed 4 days until the 9th and please just book it for me (King Court View room). She comes back with $2335 for the 4 nights! How does it increase that much in an hour. Even if that 4th night was a little extra $423 which is more than I was originally was quoted per room, but standard online now for a Saturday night. So why $1000 increase in an hour? No clue

Yelp
so happy we stayed here as it's a wonderful hotel and in a great location ... everything is in walking distance. This is at the end of Yountville with Hotel Yountville (another fabulous hotel) at the beginning. Napa Valley Lodge is also located right by the Trail which is a wonderful bike/run path. The service friendly and ammenties generous - during the pandemic you place your order for breakfast, everything is individually wrapped and you pick it up at the designated time in the morning (they do not skimp on the offering!), you can borrow bikes to ride around town too. the pool / hot tub is relaxing, the setting is calming and serene and everything is spaced out well. Would definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I am hesitant to review the Napa Valley Lodge as I would love to keep it a secret. For 30+ years we as a group of family ladies have visited Napa staying in Yountville at Vintage Inn now known as Estate Yountville. The price level, even during low season with extensive vacancy, is now ridiculously high. This year we sought decided to try Napa Valley Lodge and are so glad we did. The value for the price and the location was excellent. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and had character. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great included many options-scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, smoked salmon, bread/pastries, oatmeal, fruit, waffles and more. Coffee, high end tea and mimosa makings were also available. This property is easy walking to any location in Yountville. Due to torrential rain we did not have an opportunity to enjoy the pool/ courtyard area but it was beautiful. I highly recommend the Napa Valley Lodge.

Yelp
We had an amazing time here! They're open during the pandemic and taking precautions. We felt very safe - the room was clean and it's obvious that they are taking COVID-19 seriously. No more buffet breakfast, but it was still delicious. The pool is open and was SO NICE! If you need a getaway (and I'm sure you do), book a room here and escape for a weekend. Amazing location, easy parking.

Yelp
We've stayed at most of the hotels in Yountville over the years -- Hotel Villagio, Vintage Estate, Hotel Yountville, North Block Hotel -- but because of high rates and lack of availability, we finally got a chance to give Napa Valley Lodge a try: their rate was the lowest and they had a nice room available during the night we decided to drive up. So glad we did! We felt welcome right from check-in, and though our room wasn't ready yet when we arrived, the very nice person at the front desk offered us a pass to use the pool and courtyard while we waited. There, another very nice attendant "in-training" took our orders for margaritas and our wait time just flew by. We were given a great room in the second building overlooking the vineyard, and though Highway 29 was just beyond the vines, the well-planned water features below pretty much drowned out any traffic noise, to the point where all we were hearing was water and birds. Breakfast the next day was full of great choices, including several hot items, waffles, and a variety of hot coffee drinks. This property definitely moves up on our list of Yountville properties to consider for next time!

Yelp
This hotel is a complete rip off. We have splurged and stayed in luxury hotels from time to time. When it is really lovely, you leave feeling great....Not at NVL!. It is a glorified motel. Small bathrooms and anything but a luxury feel, but with a hefty luxury price tag. Would never recommend. Then to top it off, they tried to charge us for wine from the mini-bar that we did not take AFTER we left and paid. This is an old hotel trick and often gets by the guest since it is after they have paid. Luckily for us the card declined the $43 charge!!!!! All the hotels are overpriced for what you get because they are in Napa Valley....but this was over the top bad value!

Terrible booking experience after three calls finally got my cancelation refunded even thought it fell within all policy requirements.

Yelp
4-1/2 stars Across the board, Napa Valley Lodge offered a great experience. Everyone, without exception, was very friendly and helpful. We know that the hospitality business requires a lot of hard work and smiles and appreciate the warmth that everyone showed from the GM Max to the front desk staff and the woman who greeted us for breakfast each morning and was hard at work to keep the tables clean and food well stocked. Our room was spacious, quiet, and attractive with a nice garden view and our bed was super comfortable. The continental breakfast was really nice and offered far more than we expected with lox, scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, dried cereal, assorted organic yogurts, assorted cut up fruit, various breads and pastries, and teas, coffee, orange juice and vegetable juice. The pool garden is a beautiful and serene place to hang out and take a siesta... with hammocks and lawn beds. The location is convenient and within walking distance of Yountville restaurants and wine tasting. Just off of route 29, the Lodge is within close range of other Napa Valley towns including Napa and St Helena.

Yelp
We had a great stay here during Valentine's Day weekend. We had been talking about staying here for awhile, and my partner booked us a stay here for two nights, partly because it is within short walking distance of The French Laundry, where my partner managed the near impossible feat of securing us a reservation for Valentine's Day. The room was beautiful, and quiet, aside from the frogs that are active outside throughout the night. I love their policy of 'your room is your sanctuary', as in they will not bother you unless you request something. They do a great continental breakfast - with mimosas! - that is included in the price if the room. TV channel selection is great. Snacks, beer, wine, and soft drinks in the room. The heated pool and spa are open. Turndown service is available and offered, unlike most hotels nowadays during the covid hysteria stupidity, that are not servicing rooms during multi-night stays, but still charging the same price each night, which is criminal IMO. They called our room the night we arrived to make sure everything was in order, which was very nice. Will definitely return.

Yelp
We have stayed at many places in Napa but this one has to be our favorite. A newly renovated pool, beautiful garden, cozy rooms, peace and quiet, welcoming staff and a lovely breakfast - this is a great place to stay from start to finish. Celebrated our wedding anniversary and were surprised with a lovely bottle of sparkling wine, cake and a thoughtful note congratulating us. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Yelp
The Napa Valley Lodge is an amazing hotel in the perfect location to explore the valley. Yountville is home to some of the best restaurants in the world and you can walk to all of them. The complimentary champagne breakfast in the morning is spectacular and has great tea and eggs. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and there is usually a gas fire outside in the mornings (it is pretty chilly). My favorite amenity was the free bike rentals! These bikes are a great way to get around town and get some exercise in the morning. I would highly recommend the Napa Valley Lodge to anyone visiting wine country!

Cynthia V.

Yelp
I had planned a three night stay at the lodge for August and had purchased trip insurance given the times we live in. The hotel had a 7 night cancellation policy. 5 nights prior to our arrival we had to cancel our trip due to a serious and significant structural problem at our home for which we had to be present to supervise the repairs. Initially, the hotel management agreed to charge us for one night. This seemed more than fair. Three weeks later, the full expenses had been charged to our credit card. While the management has suggested that they are a "small hotel" with limited space, the reality was that they had many available rooms which they were actively discounting prior to our intended arrival. I guess they saw an opportunity to make a profit, rather than a life long customer. Go elsewhere if you value customer service with integrity and compassion. Just look at the other reviews....price gouging and terribly inflexible refund policies are the name of the game here.

Yelp
Upscale , boutique hotel that's worth every dollar. Service is over the top. Our room overlooks the vineyard and since I'm on the first floor my porch is actually at the edge of the vineyard and very private. Wood burning fireplace in my room. What can I say? Tremendous. Coffee or espresso? Yeah... In the room. Cocktails, smoothies or snacks at the pool. Yep. Whenever you look towards the poolside server it's just minutes away after you've made your request. Rooms are large. Bath accessories are top shelf. The hotel is located in the center of Yountville. You are literally minutes away from walking to the best restaurants and short trips to top wineries. The hotel is just 2 or 3 blocks from great shops and The French Laundry and Bouchon Restaurants. Coming back and staying here again next trip. Primo.

Yelp
The Napa Valley Lodge is our favorite hotel in the Yountville. Its room rates are reasonable by Yountville standards. The rooms are spacious, the check-in is always gracious, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, the beds and bedding are extremely high quality, and the location is perfect. Much of the town's shopping and dining are within a block or two.

Shep M.

Yelp
Most disappointing experience for a very Expensive hotel. Staff was indifferent at best. Stayed at desks on check in, issues with trying to scan credit cards, no help to lug 50 Pound suitcases up stairs since there is no elevator. Literally no one to help on any issue. Located right on highway 29 so no wonder They put sound machines in the room. Cold water for two morning showers. View from room was of another building and the breakfast room. Would not contact UPS to pick up items from shipment . This is a place of "no" and there are Many other Napa locations to choose. Overpriced and underdelivered.

Yelp
Lovely hotel right in Yountville. Styled like a modern villa, this place is very inviting. My husband and I spent our minimoon here and we had a room with a view of their vineyard! Nicely furnished and cozy. They even welcomed up with a bottle of champagne in our room, a very nice touch. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. And DO NOT miss their chocolate chip cookies offered in the lobby!!! In a town known for their food, this place has cookies are on par with it, I was surprisingly impressed and even took a few for the road ;)

Yelp
Don't be fooled - this place has thought of everything. Recently stayed while celebrating an anniversary weekend getaway. We wanted to spend our money on food and wine and not a place to sleep for a few hours a day. Don't get me wrong, if you want to spend $1000-$1500/night what's not to like about one of the plush resorts? But I have to tell you, this place is really nice and they've thought of everything to make a nice stay. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the courtyard - I would recommend this. The room was large with a king bed and two really comfy chairs, a fireplace and large bathroom with a sink area, closet, big shower, and separate sitting make up counter. You need more? All the lighting - including the lamps - had dimmers. The fireplace is real wood burning with a dura-log in each one. We had a nice large sliding door with screen, but you could totally black out the room for sleeping in after a night of wine and too much fantastic food. We were pleasantly surprised to find a Nespresso machine with several coffee varieties and espresso along with a cool little instant tea pot. Set your Wifi up and put some music to the Bose speaker included in the room and light that fireplace. Breakfast was included in a beautifully appointed room by the pool/fire pit area and let me tell you, it's not the Hampton Inn! Spend your money at TFL or Bistro Jeanty and enjoy this hidden gem! Thanks for a great stay - we'll be back.

Yelp
Every detail, perfection! The bedding, soaps, cleanliness, surroundings. Everything! Then the breakfast! Really? Wow! You'd pay $100 for that breakfast in this area! Everyone friendly! Beds were perfect with the highest quality sheets. We'll be back!

Yelp
I love Yountville. It's my favorite little town in Napa Valley because it contains many of my favorite restaurants in the wine country. For New Year's eve, my family and I continued our tradition of driving up to Napa and spending new year's there. It's quiet and we love it. We get to indulge in great food, drinks etc. This year, I decided to book at the Napa Valley lodge because it's in a great location due to its close proximity to the delicious restaurants in the area. Check in was seamless and they provided me with a glass of bubbly upon check in. We were given a room on the 2nd floor, right over the lobby. It was relatively quiet in the area which was great. The hotel also provided us with New Years' hats and noise makers since it was new year's eve. I loved it. The room is spacious and has a nice balcony. There's also a minibar, a great coffee maker and free bottled water. There's no room service, but there's a restaurant down the street which will deliver to your room. They do host a free breakfast and provide, coffee, tea and cookies in the evening which was a nice touch. I love, love, love that you can walk to all the good restaurants in Yountville. They also provide spa services which i didn't get to use because we were short on time. The pool is nice and there's a nice fire pit in the pool area. Everyone who worked there was very friendly. We will definitely return soon. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Room was spacious, clean, beds very comfortable, breakfast was really really great. Pool area in the courtyard was nice. But for $500 a night, not worth it. The hotel itself resembles more like a motel, the picture makes it look like is part of this vineyard setting, but its not. You are paying for the ara

Yelp
Beautiful immaculate facility, with a truly caring helpful courteous staff, excellent vineyard views, great amenities and an overall relaxing ambiance and experience! All of the front desk staff (Serenity and the other young lady, sorry forgot her name but she greeted us on Wed. evening 9/12 /18) provided phenomenal customer service... they both went above and beyond! Offering us sparking welcome drinks, customized winery suggestions based on our likes, making dinner reservations, and vineyard reservations! All of the staff from the bell hop, dining staff, pool attendants, house keeping, and maintenance to management were truly exceptional. And Max was the epitome of what it means to be in the hospitality industry! He made our vacation something that will never be forgotten! He made sure any concerns of ours were quickly & effectively addressed and always went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable! Greeting us each day with a smile, attentive conversation and those added little niceties that have long been forgotten in the modern hospitality business. Each time asking if there was anything we needed and even leaving a hand written card on our last night...WOW! Not only is the Napa Valley Lodge immaculate and beautiful, but the staff, vineyard views, location, and overall experience was truly AMAZING & UNFORGETTABLE! It's the entire package conveniently wrapped into one place... the Napa Valley Lodge! My husband and I really love everything about this place! Other quaint perks... daily turn down with tasty homemade cookies, mini wine related pillow notes, welcome treats w/ a bottle of wine and so much more. If you are wondering where to stay on Napa/Yountville, look no further! The Napa Valley Lodge and their entire staff are what everyone else in the hospitality industry should aspire to be like! A cut above the rest and nothing but the BEST! Thank you for making our stay truly AMAZING!

Yelp
This is a bit of a late review but wanted to make sure that props and kudos are given to the staff at Napa Valley Lodge. Specifically Blair and Brianna. We had reservations booked at the Napa Valley Lodge back in November and due to a mix up our room was not available for both nights. Blair and Brianna went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure that our trip was not ruined and that we would feel like we were taken care of. We were in Napa for my boyfriend's birthday and to celebrate his new job so we were super appreciative that they were able to sort everything out. The hotel, staff, location is wonderful. I cannot recommend it enough! Thanks again to Blair and Brianna! :)

Yelp
For years, I stayed away from this hotel solely because of the "LODGE" word use in their name. For whatever reason, it reminded me of a dark, dingy place that might resemble a motel. That was a big mistake. With limited "lodging" options in Yountville (my town of choice when visiting Napa Valley) especially during harvest season, I decided to try it out. The increased Yelp photos through the years and website showed me it actually looked quite nice. And it was! Arrived to find a picturesque hotel, surrounded by beautiful rose bushes and lavender that are planted in all its surroundings. That's some natural aromatherapy right there! Starbucks coffee is offered all day long in the cozy lobby along with varied sweets to snack on. Check-in was quick and efficient. Our second story room was spacious and spotless. The room had a view to their on-site vineyard, bocce court, and pool. It also had a balcony and fireplace, but unfortunately we didn't get to use them. During turn down service, the staff left freshly baked cookies from one of the local bakers. With them, a small card was placed with a small wine-related quote. I found myself looking forward to them every night when we returned to the room. It was a small touch that went a long way! The hanging space could have been a little larger, but the bathroom was spacious enough. I especially loved their use of EO organic toiletries. It is a brand I am familiar with and I happen to buy on a regular basis. Parking is easily available on site and the hotel is walking distance to most everything in town. Perhaps the biggest surprise of all was the champagne breakfast spread that is included with your reservation. This is not your typical simple continental breakfast. Breakfast is set up each morning in a large room with plenty of seating or you can also choose to take your breakfast al fresco facing the vineyard. Starbucks coffee, teas, champagne, and juices are offered. Ample breakfast choices are included: scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, cereals, granola, muffins, pumpkin loafs, fresh fruit, organic yogurts, different milks, bagels, toast, grits, cold cuts, and cheese. On a separate table, they have a belgian waffle station. Their breakfast is a definite plus, especially given how pricey everything in the area can get! Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Napa Valley Lodge and would not hesitate to book here again next time around. From one of my cards; "Wine makes every meal an occasion, every table more elegant, every day more civilized." Andre Simon Now, where did I leave that bottle? Hmmmmmmm

Yelp
We had the most incredible experience staying at Napa Valley Lodge. Prior to our trip we reached out to Vanessa and Sarah who helped us book/plan most of the vineyards we wanted to attend. Not only were they extremely attentive but very insightful and patient with us and our many changes. The hotel itself was lovely and in the most perfect location. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and can not wait to come back. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Yelp
This is my second time coming here. I would highly recommend it. We came during the week so it was a bit quieter. The pool is lovely and the rooms are spacious. Great bathrooms as well. Staff is friendly. They have been very helpful. There were freshly baked cookies in the lounge. They make check in and check out easy with contactless option. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms have a nice balcony where you can sit out. They have great breakfast also! It's right downtown in yountville so you can walk to the restaurants. The ceilings are high in the room which is cool. They have really nice robes.

Yelp
There are hotels/lodge with partial sea-view, Sea front, partial garden view, partial pool view.....etc. Napa Valley Lodge has a cemetery view, if you are "lucky". I've been traveling to a lot of countries and stayed in many B&B, hotels, lodges...etc. and I've never been to an accommodation that is located 20-25 feet to a cemetery. Luckily our room was not facing the cemetery. But every time you open the door, there is graveyard right in front of you. It's hard to not look at it, because there are no fences around the cemetery, you can practically see everything inside. Upon arriving, an attentive staff gave us a welcome glass of brut. It was nice, however, I would want to have it in my room, instead of drinking it during check in. We were too hungry and tired after a long drive. I would appreciate it more if we can got to drink that in the room. Goodbye drinks/cookies and the warm cookies everyday left on the bed was thoughtful too. We only didn't get the cookies on the very last night. The room is big and clean. It comes with a nice Nespresso machine. The curtain is hard to open, because of their old-fashioned curtain opener. The walls are thin, you can see people's feet under the main door. You can hear everything. You can hear the conversation of your fellow travellers, the screaming kids and the shouting adults from the Yountville park next to the lodge. You can even hear your fellow traveler's snoring and farting sound and the sleepless people above you walking around their bed at 5-7am. The patio is facing the vineyard, however there wasn't much privacy when people are using the breakfast area. The pool is small, the backyard is small and the gym is tiny too. There is a lot of food on the breakfast table, but the choices are limited. The boiled eggs shells are hard to peel, it was definitely not fresh, the fruits were pre-cut and the fruitbowl doesn't come with cover, it felt unhygienic. The croissants, bread and scones are chunky and dry. There were 3 kinds of cheese on the first day and there were only 2 kind of cheese on the last day. There are 3 doors in the room, the servant door, the main entrance door and the door to the garden, those doors kept banging and all their staff seems they don't know anything about it. The doors were heavy and the sound is unbearable. Are the workers all deaf? And my ponytail holder with black swarovski ball that I put on the tv stand on the last day disappears in a mystical way. I didn't use the safe to hide it. it's because I din't think a hotel like this would take small things like that and it wasn't even jewelry. But no matter how I looked, it's gone. And I'm 100% sure that I put on the tv stand in-between my medication- and candy bag. The lodge is located in a quiet environment and it's faraway from those noisy winery with over-hyped tipsy tourists. I would still use Napa Valley Lodge for the next visit, but I would definitely use the safe for everything.

Yelp
This is a fancy MOTEL. Not a hotel. Very nice pool area! Beautiful room. Super nice staff. Plenty of guest parking. Across the street from a park, taco truck, and the R + D Kitchen. Convenient location!!They are at the very far north end of the Yountville strip. Id give them 5 stars if the price had been remotely reasonable! But it's just not worth $700 per night.

Yelp
We were a bit lost when trying to decide which hotel to stay at in the Napa area. However, after finding a great deal on Travelzoo.com, we decided to book with the Napa Valley Lodge. The reservation assistant was extremely helpful in describing the rooms, providing guidance on the neighboring area, and enlightening me on available winery tours. I was actually lucky to meet this lovely concierge upon my check-in. She continued to provide useful advice with a smile. We found out that our stay included a stack of discount or complimentary wine tasting coupons, a bottle of wine, and a breakfast buffet. Though the hotel did not look like much from the outside, we were in awe of our actual room. The massive space included a balcony overlooking the pool area, a large marble bathroom with stall shower, and plenty of space to spread out our things. The bedroom felt comfortable and homey, as if we were spending the night in a friend's condo. The bathroom included relaxing spa products. Every detail of the space was welcoming and spotless. In addition to the lovely accommodations, the facilities offered a ton of welcomed amenities. An on-site parking lot was a treat, though the location made the resort convenient for walking around the neighborhood. The large pool was a perfect way to pass the time between afternoon wine tastings and extravagant dinners. The cozy fire pit and relaxing outdoor hot tub heated up the cool evenings. The resort also had a small gym that offered a few necessary cardio machines and some free weights. The large breakfast spread included pastries, cereal, eggs, fruit, and even champagne! The Napa Valley Lodge might only be a 3 star hotel, but the comfortable and welcoming nature earned it 5 stars in my eyes. We could not have asked for a better stay, and if it was not for our desire to see downtown Sonoma, we would have extended our stay here.

Yelp
Yikes! If you expected service -- please go elsewhere!!!! I am giving this place 2 stars: one for location and one for it being mostly clean. The other stars would have been for updated amenities, proper management, and value (and this place does not earn on those stars). If you have been here before, maybe they know you aNd they treat you right??? If you are a young 30's couple with a reservation to Thomas Keller's French Laundry---- please go somewhere that will take care of you!!!! My husband and I showed up at 2:00 ( well before the 4:00 check in) just to let them know we were there. They said they would get us in our room early - unprovoked. When we asked again at 3:30 we were told that they had zero obligation to check us in before 4:00 - YIKES! We were not asking for special favors and all of the sudden treated like freeloaders (for 700/night). We sat down to wait for our room and were totally ignored for 30 min. When I have stayed at other hotels of this caliber I was offered a temporary key to go view the grounds or a glass of wine. Um, even the Hilton or Marriott at your local airport offers something at this point. These people just treated us like we were worthless!! In the next 20 min I saw family units and older couples come in to check in and they were all given glasses of wine and were escorted to their rooms. I guess if you are a "young" couple you should go elsewhere because your money isn't good here. Finally after checking time had come and gone and we had Waited over 2 hours for our room, my husband told the receptionist that we had reservations at Thomas Keller's French Laundry, and then all of the sudden, I guess they realized that we were no hobo's and they started apologizing. Our room was suddenly available in less than a minute. Naps Valley Lodge ruined my entire trip to this amazing restaurant and if you have a time sensitive check in, I would not come here. If you don't look like who they want to service, I would not come here. If you have an ounce of experience in hospitality, I would not come here. I have worked in hospitality my whole life, and I will NEVER come back here. I have NEVER given a bad review and I will NEVER come back here. If you believe in service for your $$$ do not come here.

Yelp
Perfect location, clean rooms & kind hospitality! My family has stayed her multiple times. My sister for the night of her wedding! The staff is always accommodating and aware of celebrations. Always making us feel welcomed and excited. The rooms are kept up to high standards, always spotless. The breakfast is what wins me over. Fancy coffee machines, ample food and mimosas!! Great spot, stay here!

Yelp
Best gift ever ... this is a top level hotel with even better people working there. 100/100 can't say enough good things

Yelp
This lodge is a little more like a motel in that your front door leads directly to the outside open air. This is actually fine because it's convenient to the parking lot, and there isn't too much foot traffic outside. The lodge is nicely located, close to the Yountville happening area where all the shops and restaurants are. The lobby is well stocked with coffee, tea and snacks, and you can always request an extra fire log and starter for your room, because guess what?? Some (if not all) rooms have fireplaces!! We got a pretty standard room (forgot the exact name of what class it was) and the room was huge with a CA king bed. I loved my stay here.

Yelp
Great hotel, next to everything! So many food and wine options all walking distance. Will for sure be back. So clean and the staff was great! Even added a nice bottle of champagne in our room, with an early check in. Thank you, we will be back!

Yelp
A MUST FOR THESE WARM WEEKENDS!!! First off, this average of 4-stars cannot be correct. 5-stars is in order and I'll give you every reason why.... APPROACHABLE LUXURY says it best. This is by far, one of the best hidden gems that I've stayed in the Napa Valley. [and y'all know I've had my fair share of Napa weekends over the past few years). Don't be fooled by the name - it's actually in Yountville, tucked away at the end of Madison, which is the main street. You could literally wake up, go for a run, return for breakfast, and walk down that same street to any one of your favorite spots in Yountville. Some of the most fabulous perks of Napa Valley Lodge: 1. A warm welcome with a glass of champagne. 2. A full-on, fabulous breakfast. Consider it a fancy "continental" with lots of hot extras. 3. A gorgeous pool! What?!! 4. Stunning vineyard views from your bedroom. Well, I don't know if every room faces the vineyard, but if you can, I would request a room that opens up to the vineyard if possible. So peaceful and beautiful. 5. An AMAZING staff and management team. Now wine country is known for their fabulous hospitality, but this must be one of the most hospitable teams I've ever experienced. If you need anything during your stay, they're super happy to help. 6. I already said it - just down the street from all the Yountville happenings! 7. Approachable pricing. I don't remember what the standard rooms go for, but I do recall them being in the low hundreds, even during the high season. And of course, if you wanna go fancy, the suites await. Excellence comes in many shapes and shades. When in Yountville....

Yelp
Love the fireplace in the room. It's also super easy to start as they provide this easy starter pad to light under the log. You can ask for extra logs by calling the front desk. We actually really needed them since the heater wasn't working in our room... The rooms are very roomy and have plenty of space. There's a nice view of the vineyard from most rooms I believe although the buildings aren't all connected. The best part is the buffet breakfast which includes unlimited mimosas which you pour for yourselves which means that YOU decide the ratio! Great spread which was super surprising. We checked in late and left super early so we didn't get to experience the level or service or the other amenities but it felt nice enough. We had booked off hotel tonight which made the price slightly cheaper but it seems to average about 250/night.
